As information technology has advanced, there has been a shift toward relying more and more on online cloud storage and computing services. There is no getting around the fact that recent times have seen a meteoric rise in interest in cloud computing. This technology is used by many different organisations as the central component of their information technology infrastructure. The use of cloud computing results in increased data processing efficiency across a variety of computer and storage systems that are available over the internet. The approaches have advanced as a direct result of the cutting-edge and forward-thinking computer procedures that are the foundation of the internet's core database and network architecture. In the 1990s, a new sort of cutting-edge computing known as grid computing came into being. 2005 saw the birth of two new computing paradigms: cloud computing and utility computing. Consolidating several virtual computing components into a single physical platform is one of the most distinguishing features of cloud computing services and infrastructure. These components include the central processing unit (CPU), the network, storage, and memory. A piece of software known as a hypervisor is responsible for isolating each virtual machine (VM) (used by Virtual box and VMware, for example). Using this strategy, one virtual disc or machine may be prevented from directly accessing the memory and programmes of another inside the same environment. This can be accomplished by using a firewall. Through the use of hardware abstraction, it is feasible to conceal the complexity of operating physical computer systems, while at the same time efficiently boosting the systems' processing capacity. Utilizing virtualization technology in the cloud comes with a number of benefits, including scalability and the capacity to support many tenants (one software programme serving many users at once). These properties are essential to cloud computing because they make sharing and pooling resources possible. Sharing and pooling resources provides a number of benefits, some of which include increased business value, more flexibility, and cost savings.

The present study aimed to investigate as to how perceptions of the youth about procedural and distributive justice influence their cooperation with police. The study was conducted on students of the University of the Punjab, Lahore. The major objective of the study was to see whether or not perceptions about police legitimacy fostered cooperation of the youth with police for collaborative crime control. A survey of the University students was carried out and a structured questionnaire was used as a tool of data collection. Data were gathered from 111 students of the five randomly selected Departments of the University of the Punjab, Lahore. The findings of the present study showed that the perceptions of the students about procedural justice were significantly related with their intent to cooperate with police. The respondents ’ judgments about the fairness of the police seemed to be important in promoting cooperation with police. This present research indicated that perceptions of police fairness were linked with social identity, which in turn was related with cooperation. Legitimacy judgments were the main drivers of cooperation. Overall, the findings of the present study showed that students had low schema about Police performance in procedural justice and they have negative notions about Police workforce for bringing harmony and stability in society.

The paper studies the socio-psychological characteristics of the population of Syria, Egypt, and the Arab world as a whole. The research methodology is based on the analysis of publicly available records in popular social network environments, in comparison with real facts and estimates contained in the modern scientific literature. Based on this analysis, socio-psychological portraits of representatives of individual ethno-social groups were compiled. Methods were also developed to identify the socio-psychological characteristics of the population of these countries. The results of the work can be used in systems for automatic monitoring and analysis of the information space of social media in Arab countries to assess public sentiment, track and study manifestations of extremism and terrorism, develop specialized recommendations for marketing, PR, information security, HR and business development services.

Today, the formation of the affordable housing market is one of the priorities of Russia’s socioeconomic policy. Its significance is due to the severity of the housing problem, deformations of the forming housing market, which are speculative in modern conditions with a constant rise in housing prices, and further limiting of its availability for the majority of the Russian population. The relevance of the study is confirmed by the high social significance of housing as a commodity, the presence of significant socioeconomic contradictions in the housing sector as well as the need to find ways to attract significant investment in the housing sector. Currently, about 83% of the housing stock is privately owned, about 13% is in social rent, and 4% in commercial rent. This structure is not effective enough, as it reduces the business and life activity of a large part of the population.

: The contemporary period of worldwide Shipping industry has observed fluctuating movements in ship registration procedures previously traditional and now to open registries, a substitute option for the business as usual practices. Afterwards the 20th century, the Flag of Conveniences (FOCs) have moulded a huge economic footmark worldwide with their increasing tonnage, hence influenced the traditional registry within the two processes. The shipping sector of Pakistan has not lived upon its full potential. The global share of Pakistani shipping market has shrunk during last three decades and there are several reasons including registration procedures of ships which is now a significant and major problem. Pakistan ’ s Ship registry procedure, though in compliance with international obligations, is an influential problem due to the close registry, and lengthy as well as burdensome process. The MSO 2001 ship ’ s registration rule, Merchant Marine Policy (MMP) of Pakistan 2001, and Ship Registration Rules 2002 govern the registry of ships. However, based on analysis, the current study argues that Pakistan requires revamping of its registry as well as legal/institutional/policy framework by reformulation and promulgation of fresh new version of MMP as the recent amendments have not curtailed the real issues so far outstanding vis-a-vis matter related to the ship registry procedure, in order to harness the real potential of shipping sector. It needs to formulate policies within the context of modern practices of FOCs as well as domestic registration, and at the same moment addressing the requirements to come across the responsibilities internationally.

The purpose of this study is to assess blockchain’s impact on the activities of various structures and bodies of the state administration. The levels of blockchain development and blockchain 3.0 characteristics, which can be used for organizational and managerial decisions when building digital systems of a service nature, are considered. The deficiencies of legal regulation that impede blockchain’s integration into such systems are noted. The international experience, where blockchain is already used at the level of the state administration, as well as state and municipal services, is considered. The authors pay attention to the difficulties of introducing digital technology in the state administration, which not only complicates digitalization but can also create new problems if applying incorrect simplifications of virtual and real systems. The blockchain introduction in state services meets the increased demand of society for openness, accessibility, and absence of bureaucracy and does not interfere with its monopoly on the administrative coercion function.

This paper explores the elements of naturalism in Hardy ’ s The Mayor of Casterbridge (2004) from Emile Zola ’ s dimension of naturalism. The major issue of the paper is that hereditary and environment control human ’ s actions. It also investigates how these two elements change our destiny and course of life. Emile Zola ’ s ideas have been used as tools for collecting data in this qualitative study. The paper found out that person ’ s own actions are not totally responsible for his failure, however human nature has significant role in changing their life too. Besides, the paper observes that nature, however unseen, dominates over all aspects of human life. The paper opens up the new ways of knowledge in the mainstream studies.

The current research aims at verifying the impact of cognitive Momentum as an independent variable, in the sustainable performance of a responsive variable, by mediating proactive behavior in the headquarters of the General Automobile Company in Iraq, its divisions, staff, and units, in addition to diagnosing the level of interest of its leaders and subordinates in the research variables and their dimensions. Add to that, coming up with recommendations that contribute in promoting the applications of these three variables in the company being researched. and based on the researcher's devotion to diagnose the influence relationship between the variables, because of their effects on the company and its members on the one hand, and its reflection on society on the other hand. The descriptive exploratory approach was adopted in completing the current research chapters and topics, as the research community included the headquarters of the General Automobile Company, which consisted of (523) employees. The researcher targeted an intentional stratigraphic sample of (223) members, which included: (the company’s general manager, assistant general manager, department director, associate department manager, division manager, garage manager, unit official, employee). All done through adopting the questionnaire which contained (54) paragraphs, personal interviews, and field inspection to enhance the practical side, while the researcher used statistical programs (26.V SPSS, 25.V Amos), to analyze the primary data, with the adoption of descriptive and inferential statistical methods, such as: (the normal distribution test, Confirmatory and Exploratory Factor Analysis, Percentage, Arithmetic Mean, Standard Deviation, Relative Difference Coefficient, Materiality, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, Simple Linear Regression Coefficient, Multiple Regression Coefficient) to test his hypothesis. As for the most prominent results of the research, they were represented by the influence of cognitive Momentum on sustainable performance, directly and indirectly, with a reliability level of (0.937) of cognitive Momentum, (0.950) for sustainable performance, and (0.967) for proactive behavior.

: Capital structure is the composition of debt and equity securities that are used to finance a company’s assets. The choice of debt and equity is an important decision for the corporate sector because an optimal choice of financing decision increases the value of the firm. The Multinational corporations (MNC) has benefits over the Domestic companies (DC) with regard to debt raising capacity, wider options for raising capital, greater options to generate profits, diversification benefits, economies of scale, etc. This paper investigates the determinants of capital structure of domestic and multinational companies during the period 2010 to 2020. The study concluded that the significant capital structure determinants are Size, Return on Sales, Return on Assets and Profit.
