This paper aims to report the research carried out for the development of a controlled vocabulary in a collaborative web environment, which allows social indexing by tagging the images posted by both the personal user and the institutional user. Created for the preservation and dissemination of Brazilian architecture images, Arquigrafia is also a social network formed by students, teachers, researchers, professionals and others interested in architecture and urban spaces photography. Thus, it was necessary to analyze the list of tags to improve the consistency of indexing, seeking a conceptual organization of domain terms from the application of terminological methodology, aiming at the alignment of vocabulary terms under construction with other knowledge organization systems.

Based upon the concept of informational waves developed by Brasilina Passarelli to represent different historical moments related to Internet access, appropriation, interactive content production due to media and information literacy development, participation, sharing of information until nowadays continuous connectivity to trans literacy, this article objective is to build a theoretical approach to information waves in relation to other specialists on the issue. Passarelli (2010) proposed, initially, two informational waves at the network society: the very first one based on providing access to the Internet to avoid digital divide; the second one relying on media and information literacy (MIL) to produce multimedia Web knowledge. Nowadays we live the convergence of IoT, big data and AI and due to this contemporaneous scenario emerges the “third informational wave” with the concept of trans literacy considering interactions among humans and non- humans, developing a rebirth of sociabilities and causing a disruption on the network limits so far spreading itself throughout all social life spheres.

The Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia (Madrid, Spain) admittedly uses digital technologies to foster access and diffusion of its collections. This paper presents a specific project from the Museum: Repensar Guernica, website that, through the conjunction of the processes that underlie the museum and the archive, adds as much information as possible about the Pablo Picasso's masterpiece Guernica. The platform goal is to achieve a general audience, from Art History specialists to more varied curious about the subject. As of the Repensar Guernica case study, we prove how digital tools, as virtual exhibitions, online catalogs, and portals, are fundamental to improve and to democratize access for museum collections and archives. The methodology uses the bibliographical review about the digital technologies in the museums and has in mind some issues from the Digital Humanities, like the impact caused by the technology on the preservation of traditional sources of research.

Research and development policies are analyzed and assessed in Costa Rica, carrying out a case study based on objective data such as scientific productivity and I+D+i investment, carried out both in the public sphere and in the Private. Using official data of platforms and tools for the analysis of science in the country, it is complemented by the detailed study of the current policies that are developed in the country, analyzing for it the National System of science and innovation of the Government of Costa Rica in a general way and especially the work carried out by the CONICIT. In one last place, and as a reflection exercise, these policies and public investments are analyzed, offering potential lines of work and improvement detected in the scientific policies of the Central American country.

It analyzes the diffusion of literature on "metrics" (bibliometrics, scientometrics, infometrics, webmetrics, archivemetrics, technometrics, patentmetrics, etc.) produced and published in Brazil and by Brazilians abroad. In order to analyze the diffusion of this literature, the Bass Model of Innovations was used, since the literature is also a kind of an innovation. From 1973 to 2018, a total of 6170 documents produced by 9707 different authors, was identified. The Bass model of innovations estimated that the influence researchers receive from reading other documents on this subject in information systems is less than 1% (innovation coefficient). The coefficient of imitation that measures the influence that a group of adopters exerts on the adoption decisions of other potential adopters is equal to 22%. The parameter that estimates the saturation point of the field, predicts that this will be reached when 165450 documents have been published.

This article aims to discuss the concept of webrings and how the processes of formation of these social circles of bloggers on the web. Bloggers establish virtual relationships with one another by reading their blogs on a one-to-one basis and getting in touch through comments, creating virtual relationships and communities. Based on virtual ethnography, this research consisted of immersion in the blogosphere, and subsequent interviews with eight bloggers. The results and the discussion about the webrings belonging to the blogosphere highlighted the interaction between bloggers, the sharing of information and the communicative exchanges that take place within these social circles. It has been found that, in most cases, webrings are formed both in virtual and in person, through events and face-to-face meetings. Thus, the investigation of how the webrings are formed suggests the extension of the concept, incorporating the current dynamics of the virtual relations that occur with the influence of the social networks.

The current information overload, the scenario of scarce resources for ST&I and the legal and socioeconomic context of Brazil motivated the use of a methodological procedure of analysis and organization of information. Through this method it was possible to define priority themes that translate into issues that highlight the attention and interest of managers and scientists, as well as in strategic technological and economic activities for Brazil, in the scope of biotechnology and genetics. The procedure of information analysis and organization consisted in the use of the Triple Helix model for the collection of information, in the carrying out of group dynamics, in the use of the GUT Matrix and in the achievement of institutional Seminars for analysis, treatment, prioritization and organization of information. The use of this procedure with relevant and quality information from formal sources helped in improving the strategic decisions in institutions and for the structure and elaboration of new actions in the field of ST&I.
