The article presents the results of the application of computer vision in the study of processes associated with Brownian motion, that is, the chaotic movement of elements of microsystems. If the particles are visible by electron-optical devices and are distinguishable against the general background, then thanks to video surveillance and subsequent frame-by-frame video processing by computer vision methods, it is possible to determine the kinematic parameters of the observed particles at different points in time.

A model of a digital shirography device is presented, which will increase the speed of non-destructive testing in real time (with the frequency of video image registration). The device allows you to explore large areas in one pass while maintaining the same spatial resolution. With the use of specialized lenses (the universal design of the device allows the use of a wide range of lenses), the device will also allow solving research tasks that require high accuracy and resolution values. The advantage of the device being developed is the possibility of flexible adaptation of the optical circuit and software for the needs of a specific customer, which is impossible when buying a ready-made complex from foreign manufacturers.

The features of the formation of the connection of thin-walled structures made of titanium alloys obtained by diffusion welding are described. The achieved level of diffusion welding technology makes it possible to obtain thin-walled structures from titanium alloys with the required set of mechanical properties, and further progress in the development and application of diffusion welding will be associated with the development of a set of equipment for quality control. The results obtained can be obtained and used in the creation of new and improvement of existing materials and resource-saving technologies, in particular, for obtaining high-quality thin-sheet joints from dissimilar metals and alloys using diffusion welding in a vacuum.

The article presents the original design of the sound level meter with software based on Arduino-mini, which provides sending noise level values in decibels to other devices. After exceeding the noise level above the permissible sanitary standards, information is automatically sent to devices capable of converting sound vibrations into electric current. After the accumulation of such alternative energy with the help of an ionistor, it becomes possible to use it, for example, for night lighting of office buildings and much more.

The article describes an algorithm for processing an audio signal in Matlab CAD, presents the results of filtering it using digital and analog filters and their comparison by specified characteristics. Practical significance of the work: studying the signal processing algorithm, writing digital filter code in Matlab and gaining skills in using Micro-Cap 12 CAD for modeling passive and active filters. This work can be used to teach students of technical universities in the study of software and principles of operation of analog and digital filters, for use as a methodological guide when performing calculations in homework or laboratory work using specialized software Matlab and Micro-Cap 12. An active low-pass filter is implemented and used as a stand for practical classes at the university.

The prerequisites for the formation and development of technical diagnostics as a science contain several stages, starting from the appearance of the first mechanisms, and then steam engines. The use of organoleptic methods for assessing the state (listening to noise, tactile analysis, visualization of mechanical vibrations, etc.), in addition to the developed safety devices and readings of instruments for measuring speed, pressure, temperature, ensured the functioning of mechanisms until the middle of the twentieth century. The emergence of complex technical systems associated with the implementation of atomic, space and other projects required ensuring their reliability with an insufficient level of data, which became the main reason for the emergence of technical diagnostics as a science. When determining the state of mechanical equipment, vibration has always been the main diagnostic parameter, but only with the development of microprocessor technology and computer technology has it become possible to obtain objective data. The complication of equipment and control systems leads to the emergence of new levels of obtaining and collecting diagnostic data, which is reflected in the appearance of large amounts of data and the need to form information flows for effective management of the technical condition of the equipment. Pattern recognition methods, after adapting to specific practical situations, allow you to get good results after laborious work by highly qualified specialists.

The parameters of the gear line are determined under the condition of minimizing friction forces. Variants of the profile of the propeller rail teeth are offered. The criteria for choosing the best profile of the rack teeth are given. The best forms of the profile of the rack teeth for the heavily loaded driving conditions have been determined.
