The purpose of the research is to actualize the problem of formation of the conceptual and terminological apparatus of the Chuvash literary criticism in the national language. Since its inception (the late 1920s) Chuvash literary criticism has relied on advanced ideas, discoveries and concepts of Russian literary criticism. Chuvash researchers (except for P. N. Metin, A. I. Mefodiev - the authors of the "School Dictionary of Terms of Literary Criticism and Folkloristics") were not concerned with the systematization of their own concepts, which reflect the national characteristics of Chuvash literature. Today, the practice of using Russian-language terms in Chuvash literary criticism has been fixed even in cases when there are synonyms for them in the Chuvash language. The scientific novelty of the research is that it analyzes for the first time the basic methods of term formation in Chuvash literary criticism. Actualization of this issue in the Chuvash scientific community should contribute to the development of Chuvash literary criticism (more broadly - the entire philological science) in the field of national aesthetics. The results obtained showed that in Chuvash literary criticism the conceptual and terminological apparatus in the Chuvash language has not been fully formed, it is dominated by Russian-language terms that do not obey either phonetic or orthographic laws of the Chuvash language.

The aim of the work is to confirm the idea of the progressiveness of intercultural interactions in the system of full-fledged development of artistic thinking using the example of the transformation of the ideosphere of the Scottish folk ballad “The Twa Corbies” (“Two Ravens”) in Russian (A. S. Pushkin) and Ossetian (G. M. Tsagolov) literature. The article focuses on the similarities and differences in the interpretations of the original narrative by Pushkin and Tsagolov and the introduction by them of an additional semantic field into the traditional figurative structure of the original text. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the joint study of the Scottish ballad, the poems of A. S. Pushkin and G. M. Tsagolov, focusing on the identical value series and the convergence of folklore traditions in literary, author’s work. For the first time in the history of Ossetian scientific thought, Tsagolov’s work is highlighted in the context of interliterary connections and influences and becomes the subject of a comprehensive literary analysis. The presented texts reveal the need to preserve the main structural and figurative elements of the ballad and, in parallel, introduce additional nuances, both semantic and figurative, to enrich the ideosphere of the analyzed works. As a result of the research, the statement is presented that interest in folklore traditions in artistic creativity is one of the basic attitudes for the continuous development of both world literature and national literature; that eternal, archetypical themes raised in the presented poems (“treason/fidelity”) acquire additional connotative layers, are enriched with new symbols and acquire semantic depth, modernizing in the context of constantly changing cultural norms and traditions.

The purpose of the study is to establish ways of structural and grammatical transformations of German proverbs in German publicistic discourse based on the publications of modern German periodicals. The theoretical part of the article describes the syntactic features of German paremias, their communicative-pragmatic aspect; the empirical part presents examples of nine syntactically and grammatically modified German proverbs: Kleinvieh macht auch Mist; Einem geschenkten Gaul sieht man nicht ins Maul; Der Apfel fällt nicht weit vom Stamm; Der Appetit kommt beim Essen; Aller guten Dinge sind drei; Reden ist Silber, Schweigen ist Gold; Viele Köche verderben den Brei; Hunde, die bellen, beißen nicht; Morgenstund hat Gold im Mund; Die Hunde bellen / Der Hund bellt, die Karawane zieht weiter. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the fact that for the first time, structural and grammatical modifications of the above-mentioned German proverbs are described and analyzed in a comprehensive and systematic manner to achieve successful communication. As a result of the analysis, it was established that in German publicistic discourse there are only six ways of structural-grammatical transformations of proverbs. The results showed that in quantitative terms, the vast majority of combined types of transformations are used.

The purpose of this research is to identify the peculiarities of translating German nominalized infinitives into Russian based on the Russian National Corpus parallel texts German-Russian corpus. The scientific novelty of this work is that for the first time it analyses the translation of German nominalized infinitives into Russian based on material that is not limited to the translation of works by individual authors, but includes contexts from texts of different functional styles (fiction, publicistic and scientific) and their translations by a number of professional translators. The article examines in detail the possibilities of translating into Russian both fixed and occasional single-component German nominalized infinitives formed from high-frequency verbs based on diverse linguistic material; it also analyses the grammatical and lexical-semantic transformations used in translation. The research reveals the specifics of translating German nominalized infinitives into Russian: it identifies the most and least frequent translation methods and presents the quantitative ratio of transformations performed during translation.

The aim of the study is to identify the possibility of parameterization of data and the means of parameterization of the multilevel system of business discourse, based on its inherent models of communication, distributive analysis, contextual translations, stereotypes and realities, units of categorical and axiological semantics, the frame structure, and discourse constraints. The article reviews the representation of parameters in terms of the content of business discourse in a comparative-contrastive aspect. The scientific novelty of the research is that for the first time, based on the material of the Russian and English languages, it presents a comprehensive structure of business discourse, describes some of its components, and practically creates an algorithm for working with text or information, which allows, according to formal criteria, provided that the parameters are met, to classify the text as business discourse. In the future, it may be possible to create special software that will be able, in addition to analytics for semantics, sentiment, and content, to process texts, including spoken texts, for compliance with a certain type of discourse. Such algorithms in the form of a set of rules, tasks, and parameters can contribute to the automation of business processes, in particular within the framework of business discourse, generate scenarios for the interaction of actors in it, and search for the most favorable course of discourse for intentional purposes. As a result of the study, a multilevel structure of business discourse was recorded, due to its frame nature; the most important parameters of the discourse space were classified. It has been established that under the influence of changing geopolitical conditions, there is a conscious emotional and evaluative rethinking of business processes and phenomena, which causes changes in the speech activity of communicators in the fields of discourse. It has been proved that discourse as a process of linguistic activity is a system and, like any system, can be modeled and parameterized.

The aim of the research is to reveal the forms of continuity of A. F. Pisemsky’s late plays “The Predators” and “Financial Genius” to the 18th century Russian social comedy. Scientific novelty: Pisemsky’s late comedies are considered for the first time in terms of their orientation towards a dialogue with the national genre tradition, originating in the plays of the 18th century. It has been established that Pisemsky’s comedies enter into a dialogue with the tradition, as evidenced by their similarities to Y. B. Knyazhnin’s “The Boaster” and V. V. Kapnist’s “The Sneak”. Similarities have been found in the sphere of problems, plot, motives, character system, finals’ poetics, and characterology techniques. In “Financial Genius”, as well as in “The Boaster”, cunning deceit is exposed, and the motives of imposture and boasting are similar. The connection of “The Predators” with “The Talebearer” at the level of the problem is manifested in the condemnation of the social “calamity”, which in both comedies takes the place of the main character; the comic fades into the background, the finals convey the idea of the incurability of social evil, which brings in tragic overtones. Pisemsky’s orientation towards the artistic experience of the comedy writers of the 18th century testifies to the continuity of the Russian comedy tradition in the literature of the following century.

The aim of the study is to identify the characteristic features and signs of the communicative behavior of a “stuffy” person. The article, based on an analysis of texts posted on social networks and Internet forums, presents a generalized “portrait” of a stuffy communicative personality. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that for the first time it describes the typified communicative personality “stuffy person” in Russian linguoculture. As a result, it was found that a stuffy person belongs to the number of potentially destructive communicative personalities, whose communicative behavior is due to such characteristic features as an increased level of critical attitude towards others, increased attention and unfounded nagging about trifles, and a lack of a sense of humor. It was found that stuffy communicative behavior is characterized, on the one hand, by excessive communicative activity, realized in unsolicited comments, lengthy discussions, and long explanations of the obvious, and on the other hand, by a low degree of informativeness, manifested in aimless, empty conversations. Stuffy communication contradicts the principles of positive communication, oriented TOWARDS the interlocutor, causes discomfort and stimulates a negative assessment from others.

Stuffy communication contradicts the principles of positive communication, oriented TOWARDS the interlocutor, causes discomfort and stimulates a negative assessment from others.","PeriodicalId":415627,"journal":{"name":"Philology. The article is carried out within the framework of the analysis of institutional business discourse and is devoted to the problem of genres in corporate communication. The paper aims to reveal structural-linguistic and communicative-pragmatic peculiarities of the genre of top-managers’ message in the annual report in Russian language. The article considers the genre as an open and flexible scheme in a prototypical model with different frequency of elements. More and less typical sets and narrative schemes are described, which make it possible to establish genre relatedness in the type of text under study. Typical speech patterns and their sequences are also established. The scientific originality of the study lies in the fact that the change in the genre-forming factors of the top-managers’ message in annual reports belongs to one of the insufficiently developed areas in Russian linguistics. In this regard, for the first time an integrated approach to the linguistic analysis of this genre has been implemented on the Russian material. As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that the elements of the genres of business letter and report are the most frequent in the type of text under analysis. It has been established that the category of addressee serves to vary the distance between communicants. It is also demonstrated that the described discursive practices of constructing written speech in the top-managers’ messages in annual reports of Russian companies are due not only to the informing, but also to the argumentative function.
