Translation Strategy in Matan Zubad's Translation Book by Muhammad Ali Baraqbah 马坦·祖巴德译书中的翻译策略

This study aims to describe the translation strategies used in the translated book of Matan Zubad by Muhammad Ali Baraqbah. This book is a translation from Arabic to Indonesian. The original title of this book is Matan Zubad. The theory used in this study is the theory of Mona Baker (2001). This research is a descriptive qualitative research with writing technique. Then analyzed with the translational equivalent method. The data obtained is 82 in the form of words, phrases and sentences from 100 poems studied. There are six strategies used in this book such as translation by a more general word (superordinate), translation by a more neutral/less expressive word, translation by cultural subtitution, Translation using a loan word or loan word plus explanation, translation by paraphrase using a related word, and translation by paraphrase using unrelated word. The word loan and explanation strategies are the most strategies often used by translators. This happens because this translated book comes from a book that studies fiqh where is many fiqh terms cannot be translated literally and must be using borrowing strategy. And because the language text source is a poem which is written using the Ijaz technique where the poem is expressed in a short word but its meaning is deep and broad. This makes the translator have to use description strategiy a lot so that the intent of the poetry can be conveyed and there is no misunderstanding.
本研究旨在描述穆罕默德·阿里·巴拉克巴翻译的《马坦祖巴德》一书中所使用的翻译策略。这本书是从阿拉伯语翻译成印尼语的。这本书的原名是《马坦祖巴德》。本研究使用的理论是Mona Baker(2001)的理论。本研究是一项运用写作技巧的描述性质的研究。然后用平移等效法进行分析。从研究的100首诗中获得了82个单词、短语和句子的数据。本书采用了六种翻译策略,即采用更一般的词(上级)翻译、采用更中性/表达力较弱的词翻译、采用文化替代翻译、采用借词或借词加解释翻译、采用相关词释义翻译、采用不相关词释义翻译。借词策略和解释策略是翻译人员最常用的策略。这是因为这本翻译的书来自一本研究伊斯兰教的书,其中许多伊斯兰教术语不能按字面翻译,必须使用借用策略。因为语言文本来源是一首用Ijaz技巧写的诗诗用一个简短的词来表达但它的意思是深刻而广泛的。这就使得译者不得不大量运用描写策略,使诗歌的意图得以传达,避免误解。

This study aims to examine the stylistic aspects of hadith about believers and hypocrites in reading the qur`ān. The data of this study were collected from hadith books through seven famous narrators which were accessed with the maktabah al-syāmilah application. This research is a descriptive qualitative analytical method with five levels of stylistic analysis in general, namely: phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and imagery. To analyze data through stylistics with content analysis techniques. This analysis technique is intended as a data analysis technique consisting of data reduction stages, data presentation stages, and data verification stages. The result of this research is that the hadith contains a distinctive style of language and many meanings in it.
本研究旨在探讨古兰经ān中关于信徒和伪君子的圣训的文体方面。本研究的数据是通过maktabah al-syāmilah应用程序从七位著名叙述者的圣训书中收集的。本研究采用描述性定性分析方法,总体上分为音系、形态、句法、语义、意象五个层次进行文体分析。运用内容分析技术,通过文体学分析数据。该分析技术旨在作为一种数据分析技术,由数据简化阶段、数据表示阶段和数据验证阶段组成。研究结果表明,圣训具有独特的语言风格和丰富的内涵。

Transcription of Pegon Gorontalo Arabic Orthography, Malay and Arabic Standard: A Contraceptive Linguistic Analysis 阿拉伯文正字法、马来文和阿拉伯文标准:一种避孕语言分析

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mentranskripsi tuturan yang berbentuk bunyi ke dalam bentuk tulisan Ortografi Arab Pegon Gorontalo (OAPG) dan membandingkannya dengan Ortografi Arab Pegon Melayu (OAPM) dan Ortografi Arab standar (OAS). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan linguistic kontrastif. Data dikumpulkan berbentuk dokumen manuskrip dari kitab dikili yang berasal dari empat kabupaten di Provinsi Gorontalo. Data OAPG dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik rekam catat, kemudian membandingkannya dengan OAPM dan OAS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan beberapa persamaan sekaligus perbedaan antara   Ortografi Arab Pegon Gorontalo (OAPG) dengan OAPM dan OAS. Persamaan antara OAPG dengan OAPM yakni; (1) Kedua bahasa ini  menggunakan ortografi pegon ch [څ], ny [ڽ], ng [ڠ] dan g [ڬ] (2) Memiliki fonem, aksara bunyi vokal O dan E, serta menggunakan dua belas ortografi Arab standar urutan hija’i. Persamaan antara OAPG dengan OAS, yakni; 1) OAPG menggunaan enam belas ortografi OAS (ا-ب-ت-ج-د-ر-س-غ-ف-ك-ل-م-ن-و-ء-ي) berdasarkan urutan hija’i, namun tidak  memiliki dua belas konsonan OAS.  2) OAPG dan OAS sama-sama memiliki aksara yang disambung dan dipisah, serta menggunakan semua tanda diakritik Arab standar. Adapun perbedaan transkripsinya adalah: 1) OAPG tidak membedakan penggunaan tanda diakritik [E] menjadi [é] pepet dan [e] taling. 2) Memiliki suku kata yang dimulai dengan [nt-نْت] dan [ng-ڠْڬ], 3)  OAPG menggunakan fonem Arabic standar [f-ف]  dan bukan fonem pegon [p-ڤ]. 4)  OAPG tidak menggunakan ortografi [ڎ/ڊ] dan [ڟ] untuk fonem [dh] [th], 5)  OAPG memiliki tujuh fonem pembeda yang tidak dimiliki oleh Ortografi Arab Standar.

Penggambaran Dunia Pulau Bali Tahun 1930 M dalam Novel Rihlatu Jāwā Al-Jamīlatu Karya Sholeh bin Ali Al-Hamid: Sastra Perjalanan Carl Thompson

This study aims to reveal the reportation of the world of Bali island in the novel Rihlatu Jāwā Al-Jamīlatu by Sholeh bin Ali Al-Hamid. This novel tells about the journey of Arabic literati in Indonesia in 1930 AD, one of which is the island of Bali.  The depiction of the world in this study is revealed with carl thompson's theory of Travel Literature and the research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, the depiction of the world in this novel tends to be objective, because Al-Hamid describes the island of Bali as it is, namely geographical location, weather, city atmosphere, natural landscapes, and tourist attractions. In addition, the Balinese society described by Al-Hamid is a traditional society that maintains traditions and customs.

Mekanisme Pertahanan Ego Said Mahran Dalam Novel Al-Lisshu Wa Al-Killab Karya Najib Mahfuzh (Kajian Psikologi Sastra Sigmund Freud)

This research is entitled Said Mahran's Self Defense Mechanism in the Novel Al-Lisshu wa Al-Killab by Najib Mahfuzh (Sigmund Freud's Literary Psychology Study). The purpose of this research is to describe the self-defense mechanism used by Said Mahran in dealing with the conflict that befell him. The method used in completing this research is descriptive analysis method using Sigmund Freud's literary psychology approach. The data source of this research is the novel Al-Lisshu Wa Al-Killab by Najib Mahfuzh. The collection technique was carried out by means of observation through reading and recording important data related to the research. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman approach. As for the results of this study, there are five self-defense mechanisms used by Said Mahran, among others: Fantasy, Projection, Diversion, Action Formation and Apathy. The purpose of the self-defense mechanism used by Said Mahran is to reduce anxiety and fear of failure in carrying out and realizing his plans.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Tokoh Aku dalam Novel Asybahul Jahim Karya Yasmina Khadra Tinjauan Psikologi Sastra

The articel was conducted to analyze the forms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder that my character experienced in Yasmina Khadra's novel Asybaḥul jaḥĪm. The study resulted in the conclusion first, that the character of I in Yasmina Khadra's novel Asybaḥul jaḥĪm underwent Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Second, through an analysis of the approach to literary psychology with Kaplan & Sadock theory, several important things have been found, among other things, there have been causes that led to the character I experienced PTSD in the novel, such as, Sulaiman's death, Haitem family events and insults to the family of my figures. Third, some characteristics of someone experiencing PTSD according to Kaplan and Sadock are found in the novel, among others, a) The Figure I see, hear, and even experience some events related to serious injury or death, as well as receiving threats to the physical integrity of himself or the person around him. b) The reaction of the character I involve fear and helplessness, c) The character I experience a recurring dream of the tragedy that inflicts suffering, etc. Fourth, there were found some attempts by my character to exit the PTSD he experienced, such as leaving Kafr Karam who was none other than his hometown, seeking new life in Baghdad and joining the resistance group.

VARIASI BAHASA ARAB PADA PENUTUR BAHASA MALTA DALAM TATARAN FONOLOGI

This article aims to analyze the types of Arabic phonological changes in Maltese speakers. This research is included in the qualitative research using the intralingual equivalent method. The results showed that there were many phonological variations of Fusha Arabic in Maltese, including: (1) Lenisi consisting of apocope, syncope, changing vowel /i/ to vowel /a/, changing vowel /i/ to sound vowel /ɛ/, change in vowel sound /u/ into vowel sound /ɛ/, change in vowel /u/ into vowel /o/, and change in vowel /u/ into vowel /a/, (2) Sound substitution consonants with consonant sounds consisting of changes in consonant sound // into consonant sound /t/, consonant /q/ into consonant /ʔ/, consonant /x/ into consonant /ħ/, consonant /ðˤ/ into consonant /d/, consonant /dˤ/ becomes consonant /d/, consonant /tˁ/ becomes /t/, consonant /sˁ/ becomes consonant /s/, and consonant /t/ becomes consonant /d/, (3) Epenthesis, 4) Diphthongization, ( 5) Monophthongization, and (6) Sound reinforcement consisting of changing the vowel sound /a/ into a vowel sound /ɛ/, changing the vowel sound /a/ into a vowel sound /i/, and Consonant sound /t/ changes to a consonant sound /d/.

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap faktor yang mempengaruhi, mendukung dan menghambat motivasi belajar secara internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal adalah diri dan kemampuan peserta didik pada tahap awal, sedangkan faktor eksternal adalah hubungan stimulus dan respon peserta didik di lingkungan dalam maupun luar sekolah. Artikel ini menggunakan metode riset kepustakaan. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan motivasi pembelajaran bahasa Arab masih mengalami berbagai kendala. Kendala tersebut dipengaruhi oleh empat faktor yaitu: faktor edukatif, faktor sosial budaya, faktor linguistik bahasa Arab, faktor politik dan diplomasi luar negeri.
本文旨在找出影响、支持和抑制学习内在和外部动机的因素。内部因素是学习者在早期的自我和能力,而外部因素是学校内外环境中的刺激关系和反应。本文采用出版物研究方法。研究结果表明,阿拉伯语学习动机的发展仍有许多障碍。这些障碍受到教育、社会文化因素、阿拉伯语语言因素、外交和政治因素这四个因素的影响。

Asālīb al-Insyāiyyah fī Juzi Ṡamāniyah wa ‘Isyrīn

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menungkap penggunaan gaya bahasa Insya> ghairu thalibi>y dan Insya>’ Thalabi>y. Jenis penelitian adalah kajian kepustakaan dengan pendekatan analisis ilmu balaghah. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa  Insya>’ Thalabi>y  dalam juz 28 terdiri dari; Amar, Istifha>m, Nahyi, Tamanni, dan al-Nida>’. Uslu>b amar menggunakan kata kerja perintah dan lam al-amr, semntara uslu>b  Istifha>m menggunakan al-hamzah, man, hal, dan anna>, adapun  Nahyi menggunakan la> untuk larangan, uslu>b tamanni menggunakan huruf (لو), dan nida>’ menggunakan harf nida>’ (يا). Insya> ghairu thalibi>y ditemuakan hanya dua jenis saja, yaitu al-Dzam  dan al-Raja>’. al-Dzam  menggunakan kata kerja (بئس وساء), dan al-raja>’ menggunakan kata kerja (عسى)

Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Qira`ah Model Teks Dialog Untuk Siswa Kelas V SD Luqman Al-Hakim 专为五年级学生

Bahan ajar sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Oleh karena itu, proses belajar mengajar membutuhkan motivasi untuk meningkatkan kompetensi bahasa siswa. Apalagi materi yang diajarkan di SD Luqman Al-Hakim belum mencapai tujuan yang telah dirumuskan. Oleh karena itu, hal ini menjadi kebutuhan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar sehingga akan memperkuat minat mereka dalam mengembangkan kompetensi bahasa mereka. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar bahasa Arab untuk siswa pada tingkat Basis (lil mubtadiin) sehingga tidak tergantung pada buku yang telah ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Pusat Hidayatullah. Kitab al-Qira'ah Lil Mubtadiin merupakan produk buku ajar yang dihasilkan melalui hasil kebutuhan dan saran para ahli.‎
