Body composition in relation to body image, dietary intake, and nutrition knowledge among ballerinas were assessed in this study. This cross-sectional study collected data from ballet schools in Jakarta and Bekasi using anthropometric measurements and interviews. Among participants aged 8‒39 years, more than 50% had normal range body composition, 65.4% had self-perceived negative body image, more than 71% had normal dietary intake; however, 67.3% had low nutrition knowledge score. Overweight ballerinas had significantly higher body fat, fat-free mass, fat-free mass index and muscle mass index, except for total-body-water (p<0.05). There is correlation between body composition and body image among ballerinas resided in Jakarta and Bekasi.

This study aimed to determine the relationship between screen time duration and Sugar-Sweetened Beverage (SSB) consumption with body fat percentage among female students in Semarang. This cross-sectional study employed 75 female students aged 18‒25 years in Islamic Boarding School KH Sahlan Rosjidi Semarang. The mean screen time duration was 8.41±3.28 hours/day, SSB consumption frequency was 4.77±4.31 times/week, and body fat percentage was 26.76±7.26%. SSB consumption was dominated by powdered drinks. The test has discovered a relationship between screen time duration (p=0.000, r=0.443) and the frequency of SSB consumption such as powdered drinks (p=0.002, r=0.350), packaged milk (p=0.038, r=0.240), yogurt (p=0.013, r=0.286), packaged coffee (p=0.022, r=0.264), and carbonated drinks (p=0.005, r=0.320) with body fat percentage.

The purpose of this study was to develop chicken nuggets with the addition of chicken liver and analyze their nutritional content. Nugget with 10% chicken substituted with chicken liver was the selected formulation. The nutrient profile of the selected nugget formula was: 56.8 g/100 g moisture, 1.46 g/100 g ash, 14.66 g/100 g protein, 6.5 g/100 g fat, 12.92 g/100 g carbohydrates, 16.39 mg/100 g iron, and 760.16 RE /100 g vitamin A. One serving of the selected nugget formula is equivalent to 100 g (4 pieces) that contribute 168 kcal energy. The selected formulations have met the claims for low fat, high in iron and vitamin A, and source of protein.

The goal of this study was to see the effect utilizing chitosan coating and liquid smoke had on pempek as an antibacterial. This study was carried out in an exploratory method, with differences in tuna pempek storage period, namely: control=0 days, A=1 day, B=2 days, C=5 days, D=7 days, and E=9 days. The results showed that the longer pempek tuna was stored using chitosan coating with the addition of 1% liquid smoke, the lower the total plate number was compared to without the addition of 1% liquid smoke. The storage time of pempek tuna without liquid smoke yielded results on chitosan coating, with water content ranging from 6.24 to 11.99% and protein content ranging from 3.68 to 11.8%. The Total Plate Count (TPC) test result was ranging from 5x10-4 to 13x10-4 colonies/g. With liquid smoke added, the water content increased to 4.56−10.48%, the protein content increased to 5.43−12.39, and the TPC test resulted in 2.7x10-4-7.3x10-4 colonies/g. According to SNI 7661.1:2013, a storage time of 3 days in the chitosan coating treatment with the addition of liquid is in the acceptable range

The study aimed to assess the association between pre-conception health and nutrition Knowledge-Attitude-Practice (KAP) and anemia among Pre-Marital Women (PMW). In this cross-sectional study, Mid-Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) measurement, 24-hour food recall interview, blood sample collection, and validated KAP questionnaire interview were conducted to 111 PMW in Sleman in 2021. The study found that 21.6%, 14.4%, and 49.1% of PMW had Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED), anemia, and lack of minimum dietary diversity, respectively. The proportions of PMW with adequate KAP were 70.5%, 67.8%, and 64.3%, respectively. Pre-conception health and nutrition practices are associated with anemia (p<0.05), but knowledge and attitude are not.

The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between anthropometric profiles and Triglyceide/High-Density Lipoprotein (TG/HDL-C) ratio in adult Islamic boarding school students. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 83 Islamic boarding school students, aged 19 to 23 years, selected using a consecutive sampling design. Anthropometric measurements consisted of Waist Circumference (WC), Waist-to-Hip Ratio (WHR), and Skinfold Thickness (SFT). There were 45.8% students who had high TG/HDL-C ratio, WC (p<0.001; r=0.379) and WHR (p<0,001; r=0.455). The respondents' waist circumference and waist-to-hip ratio were positively associated with TG/HDL-C ratio.

This study aims to analyzse nutrient intake associated with the anemia status of primary school children in Bogor, Indonesia. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 500 children aged 8–14 years from 16 primary schools in Bogor, Indonesia. Anemia status was determined using hemoglobin level and analyzed using the cyanmethemoglobin method. Meanwhile, the dietary intake was assessed using 3x24 hours food recall. Anemia prevalance is 58.8%. Most of the subjects had indequate energy and nutrient intake. In this study, vitamin C adequacy level is the only nutrient associated with anemia status (p=0.03; OR=2.3; 95% CI:1.1–5.1).

This study aimed to analyze the effect of seaweed rice on Fasting Blood Glucose (FBG) and Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) levels in humans measured using finger prick method. This research was a quasi-experimental study with pre-posttest design. A total of 34 adult subjects were divided into control and intervention groups. The intervention group received 250 g/day of seaweed rice made by extrusion method at 8 AM for 42 days, while the control group received none. The results showed that the intervention had no significant effect on either FBG or SOD levels.

This study aimed to determine the effect of milk supplementation on Mid-Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) and hemoglobin level in pregnant women. It is a quasi-experimental study conducted from May to August 2019. The sampling was done by purposive sampling, and 108 pregnant women were recruited and divided into two groups: intervention group and non-intervention group. The intervention group received Fe-fortified milk supplementation, and the non-intervention group received education on anemia prevention. Data were analyzed using paired t-test. The result was that providing milk supplementation to pregnant women for three months could significantly increase MUAC and prevent further decline in hemoglobin levels.
