The objective of the study is to delve into the importance of linguistics in a world rapidly transitioning towards digitization. This study seeks to understand better the role language plays in digital environments and its potential impact on communication, culture, and society as a whole. The study involves a considerable amount of time and effort in conducting extensive research by analyzing a multitude of theoretical articles to identify relevant and valuable references to obtain the most precise result, concluding that the vastness of the internet, while impressive, may not fully represent all languages and domains worldwide. Language in the digital realm constantly evolves with new technologies, requiring adaptation. The internet is a valuable resource, yet it can also be distracting. However, the availability of abundant text in various languages and on a broad range of topics makes it an excellent point of departure for exploring possibilities in mass research.

Childhood is one of the predominant themes in Ruskin Bond’s stories. For this, he is well known as “a writer of children” to the readers. The reason behind the growth of new children’s literature in India is partially attributed to the degradation of affection in modern family life. Advancement of technology also has its share in the increase of short stories. Bond mesmerized his teenaged followers with a blend of the magnetism and originality in description. His stories are based on his childhood experiences. Bond modified the description of stories, though they resemble the ancient Panchtantra stories. Fortunately, after shifting to Ivy Cottage, as a grandparent to his adopted children, Bond started scribbling stories. Mainly Bond has written stories for the enchantment of his espoused grandchildren namely, Rakesh, Mukesh, and Savitri. He contented his inner desires through short stories like a small kid. Earlier readers were passionate towards the fancy writings of Billy Bunter, Nancy Drew etc. Due to the exact portrayal of Indian atmosphere and relations, Ruskin Bond turns into the greatest writer for Indian Children.

This article has two objectives. The first objective is to add emphasis to a class of literature, such as Ramcharitmanas by Tulsidas and Kamban’s Iramavataram, which stand somewhere between source texts (Valmiki’s Ramayana) and translations, slightly below original works and far above translations. With a focus on the epic, the article examines and clarifies the mechanics of cultural textual flow. The second step entails examining the transcreational process that gives rise to these writings in order to determine its authenticity and define its boundaries.

As the heroine of The Scarlet Letter, Hester has received a lot of attention. Literary researchers have always considered her to be a strong and rebellious female figure. Although Hester shares many traits of witches, few scholars have paid attention to the witch image of Hester. Hester's witch image plays a pivotal role in the interpretation of The Scarlet Letter. In order to enrich the interpretation of The Scarlet Letter, this thesis provides the factors that influenced the creation of The Scarlet Letter, and analyzes the witch image of Hester from two aspects. Firstly, the thesis constructs the image according to the characteristics of the traditional witch possessed by Hester and then deconstructs that image by presenting the characteristics which transcend the witch image. Since no previous study explicitly mentioned the witch image of Hester, it would offer a completely new perspective to the research of Hester. Hawthorne was trying to convey two things through Hester’s witch image. For one hand, people should face the history of the Witch Trials and the suffering by women. For another, women who are defined as uncommon should refuse the stereotype.

“Literature is the art of discovering something extraordinary about ordinary people and saying with ordinary words something extraordinary.” says -Boris Pasternak. Several literary works engage readers deeply by the narratives they tell or the messages they convey. Readers are consistently motivated by biographies of notable people as well as true tales of bravery, selflessness, and other admirable traits. Such books act as both a bible of values and a window into the life of notable people for the general public. The main types of literature: Drama, Fable, Autobiography, Biography, Poetry, Prose, Science Fiction, and Journalistic Literature. Poetry is a great motivator when we try to learn it. It is rich in tradition, culture and language and gives a great opportunity to learn a language. The main function of poetry is to interpret life. There are poets who have pictured death as both a friend and an enemy. Some claim that passing away can provide relief from troubles and anguish, while others claim that it is cruel and robs a person of the fun and pleasure the world has to offer. In this paper, an attempt has been made to present Christina Rossetti’s longingness to be remembered even after death that separates her from her lover in the poem “Remember”.

Eco-criticism is a relatively new critical approach that has emerged alongside the growing literary and critical interest in environmental issues and green politics. Several authors have surfaced in the current century to highlight the importance of environmental issues and their deep link they have to literature. Amitav Ghosh is an example of such a writer. A country like India, with ecosystems spanning from the snowy Himalayas in the north to the warm waters of the Indian Ocean in the south and from the swampy Sunderbans in the east to the arid desert in the west, highlights the importance of the relationship between nature and society. Furthermore, human culture is linked to and affected by the environment. The purpose of this paper is to examine Amitav Ghosh's The Hungry Tide from an ecocritical standpoint in an effort to better understand the novel.

Gently Falls the Bakula is a fine novel authored by Sudha Murthy. It delineates an Indian love marriage in which the marriage fails because of soaring materialistic ambition and selfish interest. Written nearly thirty years ago, Murthy’s first novel remains startlingly relevant in its scrutiny of modern values and work ethics. The present paper seeks to depict a married couple’s life and the female protagonist’s struggle to save their crumbling conjugal relationship. Shrimati, a sacrificing beloved becomes an equally devoted wife, but Shrikant remains completely engrossed in fulfilling his ambition, without even realizing his wife’s contribution to his success. The marriage loses its way as ambition and self-interest take their toll

The Cement Garden is Ian McEwan’s first novella, which contains a number of themes. This paper focuses on the analysis of the “masculinity” emanated from the female character Julie and the “femininity” implied by the male character Jack in this work through the application of the “androgyny” theory mainly based on Virginia Woolf. It further illustrates that McEwan tries to maintain the psychological gender balance in the moral wasteland by shaping characters with androgynous characteristics. In the social survival structure, men and women are mutually complementary and dialectically integrated. Only by overcoming their respective onesided bias and self-sufficiency, can they achieve a perfect combination of masculinity advocating facts, rationality and logic and femininity rich in imagination, emotion and intuition. Its highest ideal is to pursue a “symbiosis” state of “androgyny” and “bisexual harmony” of psychological gender.

The themes found in the writings by authors during the Gilded Age are still prevalent in writings of the twenty-first century. The Gilded Age, a term used to describe a period of economic boom after the American Civil War at the turn of the century, have influenced communication to readers by using the ethos unearthed by writers who were opposed to a particular politician and their policies. Newspaper writing played a crucial role in exposing scandals, the pathos of the American Dream, and the logos or persuasion by using the trials of society. Writing was a powerful tool of communication during the Gilded Age that allowed writers to target events during this era. Newspaper writing was important to communicate prominent issues to the public, as writing upheld ideals to question government and to keep it accountable. However, the Gilded Age writings helped to permanently etch in the minds of readers the importance of themes that were prevalent post-Civil War that impacted the writing and writers of American Literature.
