Genero ambicionado pelas literaturas latino-americanas do Romantismo, a poesia epica tem na heroicidade uma categoria definidora. O artigo analisa como dois poemas epicos do Indianismo latino-americano – »I-Juca-Pirama« (1851), do brasileiro Antonio Goncalves Dias, e Tabare (1888), do uruguaio Juan Zorrilla de San Martin –, apresentam problemas e solucoes convergentes na constituicao de um heroi epico indigena. O reconhecimento da excelencia de um novo tipo de heroi, cuja heroicidade esta baseada na subjetividade, nao ocorre no nivel da diegese, e so sera possivel pela cumplicidade, entendida como compartilhamento de valores, entre heroi, leitor e, no caso de Tabare, tambem narrador. Ao criarem essa cumplicidade, os textos envolvem o leitor numa retorica que associa memoria coletiva e extincao de grupos indigenas.

Utopographische Perspektiven. Eine Untersuchung zur literarischen Raumdarstellung bei Filarete, Doni und Campanella 乌托邦视角。Filarete、Doni和Campanella的空间文学表现研究

Il seguente contributo tratta la trasformazione delle rappresentazioni utopografiche, intese come descrizioni letterarie che si riferiscono esplicitamente a spazi e luoghi non esistenti, nel corso del Quattro e Cinquecento. L'argomentazione si basa su tre testi utopici: il Trattato di architettura di Filarete (1460), Il mondo savio e pazzo di Anton Francesco Doni (1552) e la Citta del Sole di Campanella (1602). Muovendo dalle recenti teorie della descrizione letteraria, l'articolo esamina la natura delle affermazioni utopografiche comparandole alla descrizione generale dello spazio. L'articolo tende a dimostrare come si produca una sempre maggiore prospettivizzazione di enunciati spaziali passando da una visione autoriale verticale dello spazio utopico a una prospettiva orizzontale che coinvolge piu fortemente il corpo del narratore, generando cosi degli effetti di profondita.

Ismen und Armida: Gestalten des Bösen in Tassos Gerusalemme liberata Ismen和Armida:在Tassos Gerusaleme liberata中塑造邪恶

Tasso's epic work is considered to be a literary example of rinascimental dealing with magic. Based on Early Modern explanatory models (Spiritus-theory, Hylemorphism, Actio in distans), the present article understands magic historically as an 〉opportunity to direct〈 By comparing the two pagan-magical characters Ismen and Armida, it illustrates how facets of demonic magic are portrayed in the epic. In the article, the discussion on demonic shaping skills as an instrument of power and means of deceit in the battle against Christians is interpreted as a negotiation of forms and modes of actions of evil, with regard to the demonology of the Malleus maleficarum. On the one hand, the evil appears from a seemingly distant, hegemonic-political aspect. And on the other hand, it is seen from a subtly-deceptive aspect, which causes societal damage at the personal-physiological level. Especially the conception of Armida demonstrates a relational as well as functional interpretation of evil, which makes apparent the Tridentine-counterreformist embedding of the epic.

Der vorliegende Artikel analysiert drei Romane des brasilianischen Gegenwartsschriftstellers Bernardo Carvalho: Nove Noites (2002), Mongolia (2003) and O sol se poe em Sao Paulo (2007). In allen drei Fallen ist die Romanhandlung zugleich einer Erforschung dreier als fremd wahrgenommener Kulturen: der Indigenen im Amazonasbecken, der Mongolen und der Japaner. Die hybride Mischung von Fiktion und Fakten ist in allen drei Texten immer explizit prasent und wird zum eigentlichen Kommentar uber die fremde Kultur, die Phantasie entsprechend zum notwendigen Instrument der Erforschung der Realitat, deren Bestandteile auch Transzendenz, Simulation und Wahnsinn sind.

La presente contribucion se entiende como desglose – sobre todo a nivel teorico-metodologico – de una 〉sociolinguistica de la diaspora〈 como campo de investigacion emergente actualmente. En la primera parte se discuten las particularidades del cambio linguistico inducido por contacto y de la construccion de identidades plurilingues en contextos de migracion y diaspora. En este sentido, se realiza una evaluacion critica de algunos conceptos sociolinguisticos tradicionales y se demuestra la necesidad de modificar algunos paradigmas fundamentales. En la segunda parte se identifican algunos desafios concretos de una 〉sociolinguistica de la diaspora (romanica)〈. Se prestara especial atencion a la conformacion de repertorios plurilingues por parte de los mismos hablantes asi como al papel de las ideologias linguisticas, mas bien ignorado hasta ahora.

The paper analyses a corpus of metalinguistic texts (grammars, remarks) from the first grammar of French (Palsgrave 1972 [1530]) until today in order to retrace the metalinguistic perceptions and the prescriptive interventions in the domain of the French adverb. It is shown that adverbs ending in -ment and paraphrases were favored to the detriment of the old oral tradition of using short adverbs. In the second part, three methods are suggested for measuring the effect metalinguistic considerations and norms have on use. This innovative approach aims at bringing together the diachrony of grammaticography with the diachrony of use. In fact, a more objective approach is crucially needed in the domain of linguistic norm where speculation, polemic argumentation and ideology prevail.

Hummel","doi":"10.3196/003581218822496984","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.3196/003581218822496984","url":null,"abstract":"The paper analyses a corpus of metalinguistic texts (grammars, remarks) from the first grammar of French (Palsgrave 1972 [1530]) until today in order to retrace the metalinguistic perceptions and the prescriptive interventions in the domain of the French adverb. It is shown that adverbs ending in -ment and paraphrases were favored to the detriment of the old oral tradition of using short adverbs. In the second part, three methods are suggested for measuring the effect metalinguistic considerations and norms have on use. This innovative approach aims at bringing together the diachrony of grammaticography with the diachrony of use. Moise, le protagoniste de l'Ancien Testament, nouveau-ne flottant sur le Nil, parlant une fois devenu adulte de »bouche a bouche« avec Dieu et traversant le Sinai avec son peuple sont autant de motifs familiers de la poesie romantique, de Vigny a Hugo. L'article se concentre sur le souvenir de Moise dans l'aeuvre de Chateaubriand et les differents genres qu'il mobilise. Inspire par les travaux de Jan Assmann sur l'histoire de la memoire, cet article cherche a definir les transformations du personnage epique de la Bible dans le discours romantique et l'apport specifique qu'est celui de Chateaubriand.

Pagane Mythen im auto sacramental. Zur transkulturellen Poetik in Sor Juanas El divino Narciso und seiner loa (mit einem Seitenblick auf Calderóns El divino Orfeo) 异教徒神话中的自动圣礼。论纳西索及其作品中的跨文化诗学

El presente articulo analiza El divino Narciso de Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz desde el angulo de la 〉conciencia criolla〈 surgida en las colonias hispanoamericanas del siglo XVII que abre un espacio transcultural en el que confluyen elementos europeos e indigenas / americanos. El criollismo de la epoca barroca resulta un fenomeno ambiguo, puesto que, por un lado, representa una instancia politica y cultural dentro del sistema colonial que respalda el poder metropolitano, y, por otro lado, constituye el caldo de cultivo para las tendencias anti-hegemonicas crecientes durante los siglos de la dependencia. Con el recurso al genero eucaristico, Sor Juana apoya a primera vista un discurso colonizador que confirma el poder de la corona espanola y de la Iglesia catolica. El presente articulo se fundamenta en la tesis de una doble legibilidad del Divino Narciso como imitacion afirmativa del genero propagandistico y como superacion critica de un universalismo cristiano que apropia los saberes y la fe de los pueblos indigenas conquistados (tema de la loa) asi como de los paganos de los tiempos antiguos (tema del auto sacramental). Esta doble legibilidad corresponde justamente a la ambiguedad de la 〉conciencia criolla〈 que a la vez fortalece y cuestiona el discurso imperial. Ademas, el auto mitologico de Sor Juana sera comparado con El divino Orfeo de Calderon, representante principal del genero sacramental en Espana. Mientras que Calderon establece un claro vinculo jerarquico entre letras divinas (la Sagrada escritura) y letras humanas (la mitologia pagana) con fines universalistas, la autora criolla desarrolla estrategias retoricas y poetologicas para poner en tela de juicio el universalismo del auto calderoniano.
