Union Digital Centre (UDC) is a union based information service center and the purpose of which is to ensure information services at the doorsteps of grassroots people. The main purpose of this paper is to explore the role of UDC to empower the rural community as well as to find out the overall challenges of e-service delivery through UDC to the local citizens. Both the primary and the secondary data have been used to achieve the objectives of this study. The overall findings indicate that UDCs have the potential to empower the rural community but the study reveals that the poor section is very low in taking services from UDCs and the marginalized sections remain far behind from the empowerment goal as they lack engagement with the facilities provided through the UDCs. The paper also observed that, in spite of having some drawbacks, the beneficiaries have begun to realize the importance of UDCs which has emerged as a very effective strategy to empower those rural people. Since there does exist some challenges associated with e-services, it should be overcome as soon as possible. This paper also puts forward some recommendations in order to overcome the existing problem.

Abstract Social attitudes, prejudice and stigmas towards transgender community vary around the world. Consequently, the prevalence of suicidal attempts, self-injurious behaviors, and associated psychological factors were very common among them. The current study aimed to examine the association between quality of life, suicidal ideation, social interaction anxiety and body image among trans genders. Two hundred trans genders of age between 18-45 years participated in this study. They were approached by using snow ball sampling technique from different cities of Pakistan. Four instruments, Body Image States Scale (BISS), World Health Organization Quality of Life Scale- (WHOQOL-BREF), Beck Scale for Suicidal Ideation (BSSI), Social Interaction Anxiety (SIA) were used in this research. The results showed no significant difference on demographic variables with regard to body image, social interaction anxiety, quality of life and suicidal ideation (p<0.05). Results of mediation analysis by using Smart-PLS showed that body image significantly mediates the association between quality of life and suicidal ideation (r=0.164, p<0.001) and it also mediates the relationship between quality of life and social interaction anxiety (r=0.184, p<0.001). The findings indicated that this population is at a high risk for psychological comorbidities and life-threatening behaviors. Efforts should be taken to reduce discrimination and psychological risk factors and bring positive attitude towards transgender community.

Competitive advantage is considered as an element which is critical to achieve. This study argued that employee creativity is important for gaining competitive advantage. Likewise. the study also argued that leadership behavior play a significant role in developing creativity among employees. For the purpose of colleting the data three leadership behaviors which are supported by the literature in incorporating employee creativity for gaining competitive advantage have been chosen. The data for transformational leadership, transactional leadership, and autocratic leadership has been collected from the prior studies. The reliability and validity of the instrument has also been ensured and the data has been collected from department of Government housing programs in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah – UAE. The results of partial least square, structural equation modeling revealed that transformational leadership, transactional leadership, and autocratic leadership has a direct and significant positive impact over employee creativity as well as competitive advantage. The findings further ensured that employee creativity mediates the relationship between transformational leadership, transactional leadership, and autocratic leadership and competitive advantage. The findings have practical as well as theoretical significance. At the end some limitations and future recommendations are also mentioned.

Health organizations are increasingly looking for effective strategies for interaction and for maintaining long-term and mutually beneficial relationships with their employees. The growth of digital environments in particular, during Covid-19 Pandemic has offered a fresh avenue for employees to communicate with external publics through social media in crisis. During Covid 19 Pandemic, major healthcare sectors have been deeply impacted, nurses in Jordanian hospitals are suffering from a great challenge from their top management due to weak transparent communication and during a crisis, many reports nurses indicate that their organizations or leaders do not promote communication or the sharing of information and ideas. This represents the problem in which nurses do not have faith in the tolerance or benevolence of their managers. Jordanian hospitals reputation is increasingly questioned during the COVID-19 crisis (World Health Organization, 2020). This crisis involving Jordanian hospitals has resulted in declining nurses trust in the health care sector and their nurses more adversaries by sharing negative information about their hospitals on social media. ultimately turned into emergence of crisis communication in the healthcare sector and the decline of nurses’ support for their management. If the current trend persists, may likely lead to an unfavorable reputation for future of health care sector in Jordan. Taking this into consideration, the current paper expects to further explore and comprehend, employee's online communication behaviors during Covid-19 Pandemic in Jordanian public hospitals. This conceptual paper debates the antecedents that contribute across Jordanian nurses' motivation in online communication behaviors based on a comprehensive literature review. In particular, the paper elaborates on the proposed relationships between transparent communication, symmetrical communication employee organization relationships, and online communication behaviors. Based on the extended discussions of the proposed relationships, the paper also provides an effective framework for future public relations scholarship of understanding employees’ communication behaviors in online sitting. Therefore, identifying antecedents of employee communication behaviors is a very pertinent, timely initiative to restore employees trust and obtain their support during a crisis. This can be done by utilizing a specific mechanism to decrease threats in the public health sector and create positive results, such as positive employee communication behaviors.

The goal of this study was to see how the influence of School heads' leadership styles on students' academic achievement in a sample of chosen primary schools in the Ahafo-Ano South region. Three hundred and sixty-six (366) respondents completed a questionnaire, which comprised six (6) head teachers, twenty-four (24) instructors, and three hundred and thirty-six (336) students. The study found out that democratic and transformational leadership were the main styles of leadership that headteachers employed to ensure improvement in the academic performance of students as they gave room for followers (students and teachers) to express themselves and encouraged them to go beyond their self-interest and embrace the school's established objectives. Again, the study found out that about 72 per cent of respondents explained that the leadership style of headteachers greatly influenced students' academic performance. Democratic and transformational leadership styles were the main ones for improving students' academic performance rather than autocratic leadership styles. To ensure effective and appropriate usage of leadership styles and practices in schools, the study recommends compulsory continuous professional development in leadership for headteachers by the Ghana Education Service; teachers should be able to assess and suggest the performance of headteachers in order to keep checks on them on a nearly daily basis; to become a Headteacher, training and other academic achievements should be considered and not only the length of service. Headteachers should identify teachers with potentials for effective and efficient school leadership training and mentorship in their respective schools.

The core mandate of GETFund is to provide funding to supplement government budgetary allocations in the provision of educational infrastructure at all levels of education from pre-tertiary to tertiary level as stipulated in the (GETFund Act, 2000 Act 581). The study aims to evaluate the challenges and managerial skills adopted by GETFund contractors. The study's objective is to examine the challenges of GETFund construction projects, identify factors affecting GETFund projects and devise effective strategies to enhance effective GETFund project execution in the Region. The study adopted a descriptive survey design. Sixty-five clients, twenty-one consultants, and sixty-two contractors totaling one hundred and forty-eight were sampled for the study. Questionnaires, interviews, and observation were the main methods adopted for data collection. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The study revealed that the most leading challenges affecting the efficient execution of GETFund construction projects are political and financial. Furthermore, the most leading factors confronting efficient GETFund construction projects execution in the Region are cost and time. In addition, the study revealed that most of the contractors' agents executing GETFund projects do not have the requisite technical personnel, expertise, and resources, making it difficult to understand/interpret drawings and other specifications given to them by project consultants. The study recommended that professional regulatory bodies such as Building and Road Research Institute (BRRI) organize in-service training to improve the management skills of companies.

Emotional support and services provided by Public Health Midwives (PHMs) play a crucial role in identification and management of maternal mental health disorders as they are the first line contact in maternal and child-care and the focal field health members in caring for the antepartum and postpartum mothers. Aim of this study was to describe the Sri Lankan PHMs’ knowledge on maternal mental health disorders. Cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted using probability proportionate sampling, covering PHMs of all districts in Sri Lanka. Total of 434 PHMs were recruited with 99.1% response rate. A content-validated pre-tested questionnaire was administered. Univariate and multivariate analysis was used to assess the knowledge of each component with selected study variables. Respondents’ mean age was 40.6 years. Out of the 430 PHMs, 36% of them were unaware, that symptoms of Depression and anxiety could be commonly seen during antenatal and postpartum period. It was found that only 21.8% of the respondents knew the average number of maternal deaths due to suicides in Sri Lanka. Forty seven percentage of the respondents did not know, that providing understanding, empathy and support was the most appropriate step in managing mothers with Postpartum Blues. This study findings highlight major deficiencies in basic knowledge of PHMs in identifying and initial management of common maternal mental health disorders. Therefore, focus on continuous professional development of PHMs should be prioritized.
