Frequent robot re-training is required if the robot has to perform variety of tasks. Human Motion is the most natural and fluent form of input to train a robot, and robot motion has always been programmed in an un-natural way. This paper presents a method of training of robots by real time emulation of human motion of different limbs. The Human Motion data is also recorded and the motion can be regenerated at a later time. The purpose is to bridge the gap between human motion and robotic motion and make it more natural and apply it on a prototype of an Image Processing based Industrial Sorting/Inspection System. Lego Mindstorms NXT Robotic kit is used as the robot.

This paper presents modeling and simulation of a grid connected photovoltaic (PV) system with maximum power point tracking (MPPT) using a novel fuzzy logic controller (FLC). The system composed of a PV array, boost converter with MPPT and a three phase inverter connected to utility grid. The MPPT is based on fuzzy logic to control IGBT switch of the boost converter. The performance of the proposed FLC for MPPT is evaluated by simulation and the results show that the FLC is faster and more stable in finding the maximum power point than the conventional perturbation and observation method. The performance of the PV system subjected to load variation and islanding is also investigated.

Kernel tracking of density-based appearance models is implemented in this paper for real-time object tracking applications. First a ROI, i.e., the region of interest is selected in real-time to create a model. Then the matching and locating of the search object is achieved by using mean-shift algorithm. Experimental results show that this method can find perform object tracking with adaptation to scale and translation, robustness to noise and handling of occlusion.

Ground conductivity parameters are effective on the horizontal electric field due to impact of lightning near the power lines. In this paper, the FDTD method and Caligaris et al. algorithm (Cooray Rubinstein method in time domain) are applied for evaluation of horizontal electric field in the close distance from lightning channel case. Therefore, the results are compared together. Also new method by combination of dipole method by FDTD method and Caligaris algorithm is recommended.

In this article, we have discussed about routing methods in mobile intermittent networks. In conventional data networks, assumption of existence of a path between sender and receiver is an essential hypothesis. In other words, if there is no path between sender and receiver, the whole process of routing and therefore transmission fails. However, in practice, there exist various scenarios that owing to mobility of nodes, the network is divided and interconnected frequently. In spite of this fact, for those applications that can tolerate long delays, transmission of messages via mobile nodes in such a condition is more probable. Routing methods in that environment works on the basis of store-and-forward. However, reasonable use of scarce resources in such networks, like Ad-hoc networks, is necessary. After reviewing some important key factors, we have compared two antithesis methods: Epidemic and PROPHET.

This paper presents the application of graph theory to reinforce a power distribution network against voltage sags. Voltage sag is considered as one of the main power quality problems which may cause sensitive equipment to malfunction and process interruption. The objective of the proposed method is to reinforce system voltage profile during voltage sag by means of network reconfiguration. The concept behind the reinforcement is by placing the weak areas as far as possible from the main power source. In the network reconfiguration process, the graph theory is used for finding a suitable impedance path towards the fault current.

This research tries to bring a new concept of desktop advertising mechanism by synchronization it with running processes and data on users' side. This proposed approach works on basis of inter process communication interaction, scheduling, prioritization, desktop crawling and system calls. The running process status and data is fetched by proposed process, which will then seek relevant information from the remote ad server and display advertisements fetched based on keywords on user machine.

In this paper, an optimized subband noise canceller for speech signals is developed. The canceller uses a two fold oversampled filter bank. The prototype filter of the filter bank is optimized for minimum system distortion. A variable step size least mean square LMS adaptive filter is used in each subband. Performance under white and colored environments is evaluated in terms of mean square error MSE performance. Comparison is made with a similar model that is based on a standard critically sampled filter banks. Fullband version is used as reference for the canceller outperformed both critically sampled and fullband models.

This paper present design and implementation a digital filter for a back-emf sensorless control of a brushless permanent magnet (BLDC) motor using the dspic30F microcontroller. Normally, the back-emf signal has noise from the driven sector coupled onto the signal. A PWM signal is used to vary the Voltage, and therefore the speed of the motor. So it is difficult to detect the zero-crossing event due to the coupled PWM noise. A filtered back-emf signal can be generated that looks more like ideal signal and then it is easer to detect zero-crossing event. we show that the problem related with low and high speed can be overcome using dspic30F6010a microcontroller peripheral. The design of digital filter and simulation result is perform using MATLAB software.

Wireless Personal Area Network System becomes popular in replacing a wire technologies for short area range communication system. Technologies such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and ZigBee are used for this purpose but due to their low transfer data rates they are unable to handle all those applications which need high transfer rate like transfer of files which has a size in GB's. Ultra Wide Band is such a wireless promising technology which covers all these aspects by using its MBOFDM Infrastructure. MBOFDM structure supports data rate up to 0.5 Gbps by dividing the 7.5 GHz broad frequency spectrum of UWB into sub bands. Baseband portion of UWB Transmitter is modeled in this paper which proves to be helpful in the evaluation of various parameters of UWB.
