Cell phone based geographical advertisement system (CGAS) 基于手机的地理广告系统

Advertisement is an integral part of a successful business. Since the start of the world, the method of advertisement changed its forms as well as platforms. Earlier, it was in the form of paintings on walls and banners, and then in the form of commercials on radio and then on Television and now on internet. CGAS is based on developing a new type of advertisement system for general hand held devices used for mobile communication such as cell phones, PC phones, PDA phones etc. The aim of this research is to develop a software application through which a cellular phone user can query his Point of Interest (POI) such as universities, hotels, shopping malls, super stores etc. using an interactive map. POI's are registered clients who want to advertise their services. As a search result, the POI will appear as flashing spots on the map of the targeted city and enables the user to gather different kind of information related to the concerned POI such as phone numbers, email address, location etc. User is facilitated to call, SMS, email or open the website of that POI in a web browser, etc. using his or her cellular phone.

Automatic protection system for slow rate events in power systems 电力系统慢速事件自动保护系统

Motor current signature analysis is defined as a strategy to diagnose the motors significant events by locating a set of frequency components using pattern recognition. However there is no index to give a clear idea about the fault extension and advise the deadline time and protection action on the situation. In this paper a new definition for protection levels based on dynamic of faults is presented. Here the main point is to have a clear alert for the system operators and buy a proper time to do the corrective action before a hazardous failure going to be unreturnable.

Investigate the effect of variations of ambient temperature on HST of transformer 研究了环境温度变化对变压器HST的影响

Temperature, especially the hot spot temperature (HST) and top oil temperature (TOT), have played the most effective factor on the insulation life of the transformer. To determine HST and TOT, ambient temperature enter to equation that show the importance of ambient temperature on hot spot temperature of transformers, and Clause 7 (classic model) has been used as a standard thermal model in this research. In this article has been tried to show the effect of the variations of ambient temperature on a power transformer and at last has been compared by situation that the ambient temperature has been assumed constant.

Hardware implementation of adaptive filters 自适应滤波器的硬件实现

Adaptive filter is one of the most important areas in digital signal processing. This paper seeks to use this area to remove noise from noise corrupted audio signals. An adaptive FIR filter with normalized LMS algorithm is designed to cancel the noise. A SIMULINK model is created and linked to TI TMS320C6711 digital signal processor through embedded target for TI C6000 SIMULINK toolbox and REAL-TIME workshop to perform hardware adaptive noise cancellation. The result is a noise free audio signal in the DSP board output.

Cooperative diversity for synchronous uplink DS-CDMA transmission over Rayleigh frequency flat fading channel 瑞利平衰落信道上同步上行DS-CDMA传输的协同分集

This paper presents an analysis of cooperative direct-sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) relay communications with one source terminal and two relay nodes with multiuser detection over the frequency-flat fading channel for uplink transmission where the decode-and-forward (DF) protocol is employed at the relay nodes. We analyze for synchronous transmission with binary phase shift keying (BPSK) modulation. Bit error rate (BER) performance expressions are derived. In the analysis, we assume that the relay nodes correctly decode information and at BER 10−2 improvement is acquired at Eb/N0 = 16 dB. The effect various processing gain (N) is simulated. Numerical results show that the BER can be improved by increasing the processing gain and BER expressions are obtained by assuming that the relay nodes forwards information only if they correctly decode information and we assume that perfect cyclic redundancy check (CRC) is applied at the relays.

Double stator type permanent magnet generator 双定子式永磁发电机

This paper discussed on development of double stator type permanent magnet generator (DSPMG). Basically, the DSPMG is a slot type topology and operated in a single-phase. The DSPMG used a new type of internal permanent magnet topology rotor configuration. The Finite Element Method (FEM) was used to analyze the DSPMG performance and various numbers of poles and rotor size were considered during this analysis. The result shows that the output power of DSPMG is influence by these design parameters. Finally, a new type of DSPMG was developed at end of this research.

Proposed methods for self-regeneration system 提出了自再生系统的方法

This research is made to create methods that capable to regenerate a damaged component of a computer system. These methods are running in the self-regeneration system. This paper analyzed the ability of biologically-inspired from cloning, mutation and adaptability function to create the methods for self-regeneration system. The self-regeneration system implemented the self-healing system to obtain the information of the damaged component and inserted the biologically-inspired methods into the component to make the component regenerates itself from damages. Hence, this paper presents the conceptual model to regenerate the computer system in the self-healing system. To wrap up, with the analysis of the biologically-inspired concept, this paper proposed the methods for the self-regeneration system.

Web service reputation-based search agent 基于Web服务声誉的搜索代理

The semantic web service is an emerging technology which automates discovery and execution of web services on web. Software agent is a main component in building semantic web and acts as middleware between users and web services to find the service that best fits the consumer's requirements. The UDDI registry is used to find service providers and web services published by service providers. The problem, however is that the current UDDI registries do not provide information on quality or reputation of web services. The user has to perform intensive search till the best service is found. We propose a reputation based search agent which performs enhanced search by executing and ranking the list of web services based on QoS requirements of users. The ranking is performed based on reputation of each web service which is regularly and dynamically updated. This model searches registered web services based on keyword taken from user, executes each web service, ranks them according to Qos requirement of user and display the ranked list of end result. The model thus provides users with high probability of quick and successful discovery of web services.

The effectiveness of biofeedback training among university students 大学生生物反馈训练的有效性

University students need some support program to improve the academic performance. Biofeedback training is one of the effectiveness programs to help students handling the problem regarding of their study process. In this research, the biofeedback training to manage study anxiety in order to increase academic performance among students is proposed. The research was selected for 12 participants. They are divided into two equal groups, the experiment and the control groups. The training runs on six sessions with the experiment groups received full training and no training of the control groups. The result shows that the experiment groups perform better in reducing anxiety levels as well as increase academic performance than that the control groups. Based on these results, biofeedback training can be concluded as an effective program to improve academic performance among university students. Therefore, the participants should be practiced the techniques to get the intensive level in mastering regarding of managing study anxiety and improving academic performance.

PAPR reduction of OFDM signals using convolutional codes 利用卷积码降低OFDM信号的PAPR

In this paper, we reduce the peak to average power ratio in OFDM systems using selective mapping technique that employs convolutional codes to avoid the need for the transmission of side-information. Since convolutional codes are already being used as forward error correction (FEC) block set in broadcasting systems like DAB/DVB and networks like WLAN/WMAN, we shall follow the coding standards set in these systems and then use them to bring down the PAPR along with improving the BER.
