Fruits and vegetables have always been in the news, mainly because of their beneficial properties for human health. However, they increasingly occupy headlines due to their involvement in foodborne outbreaks. This is the reason why, since 2008, many international organizations consider fruit and vegetables risky food. One major microbiological concern regarding the safety of leafy greens is that pathogenic microorganisms are able to adhere to and survive on plant tissue during cultivation and processing, coexist with epiphytic bacteria and persist for long periods of time. This review examines the importance that microbial communities colonizing food processing environments in the form of biofilms have on food safety and food quality. The focus is on biofilms of undesired microorganisms, i.e. pathogenic and spoilage microorganisms. Information is presented on intraspecies variability in biofilm formation, biofilm ecology and architecture and the factors influencing their formation. Finally, research on novel agents or strategies for the control of biofilm formation or its removal is summarized.

«Basisregister und kontrollierte Vokabulare sind zentrale Bestandteile eines Linked-Data-Okosystems: Zusammen mit gemeinsam verwendeten Datenmodellen bzw. Ontologien sorgen sie dafur, dass Datenbestande auch uber Organisationsgrenzen hinweg miteinander verknupft werden konnen. Um die Publikation von Linked Data zu befordern, gab E-Government Schweiz im Fruhjahr 2019 ein Innovationsprojekt in Auftrag, das zum Ziel hatte, die LOD-Publikation von Basisregistern und kontrollierten Vokabularen durch Schweizer Behorden systematisch anzugehen. Dabei wurde ein Aktionsforschungs-Ansatz verfolgt: Einerseits wurden zwei Basisregister und ein kontrolliertes Vokabular auf einem Testserver als Linked Open Data publiziert, um die praktischen Herausforderungen im Zusammenhang mit der Datenpublikation genauer zu beleuchten. La experiencia vivida en el exilio mexicano le impulsa a abandonar el yo subjetivo y dejarse absorber por una conciencia objetiva que viene a constituir el epicentro de su proyecto filosofico. De esta manera, Larrea funda en Diario del Nuevo Mundo los principios constitutivos de una filosofia transcendental a la vez que describe la situacion personal en la que se encuentra. Ademas, el articulo mantiene que Larrea es de los mas radicales entre los pensadores exiliados en su critica de la racionalidad tecno-cientifica y que el proyecto de Larrea solo es posible porque se apoya en disciplinas tradicionalmente marginalizadas dentro de la filosofia como son la psicologia, la religion y la poesia. EnglishThis article shows that the longing for the great beyond, already expressed by Juan Larrea in his poetry, culminates in Diario del Nuevo Mundo. While exiled in Mexico, he abandons the subjective self and is absorbed by an objective consciousness that will later become central to his philosophical project. This is how Juan Larrea sets down in Diario del Nuevo Mundo the fundamental principles of a transcendental philosophy while, at the same time, describing his personal situation. In addition, the article asserts that Larrea was the most radical amongst the contemporary exiled thinkers in his critique of the techno-scientific reason and that his philosophical project is feasible only because he relies on disciplines traditionally marginalized within philosophy such as psychology, religion and poetry.

So finden okologische und soziale Anspruche nicht unbedingt Einklang miteinander, wenn bspw. einerseits biologisch produzierte Lebensmittel angeboten werden, andererseits die Bezahlung eines fairen Lohns fur die eigenen Mitarbeiter kaum umsetzbar ist. This paper analyses the film The Young and the Damned (1950) by Luis Bunuel according to the tragic philosophy of Clement Rosset. My research focusses on discussing the concept of ‘cruelty’ and its connection with the tragic, as well as to spell out the elements that make it possible to read the film as a tragedy in the classical sense. The paper argues that Bunuel’s realistic portrait of the children’s life in the slums of Mexico City follows the principle of cruelty coined by the aforementioned philosopher, according to which an artistic (or philosophical) work must be cruel and represent the truth without minimising it, without taking sides or any kind of moral perspective. The paper undertakes an analysis of cruelty as an aesthetic category in the realisation of tragedy, and key concepts of what is considered tragic are associated with the film.

Background: The increase in chronic diseases, dealing with a diverse clientele, the rapidly developing digitalization in healthcare as well as the demand for interprofessionalism poses complex demands on the midwifery as profession. Within this context institutions of higher education are expected to train midwives as trendsetters in the development of new, integrated healthcare models which can meet the health needs of mothers and their families. Goal: The goal of the master course in midwifery is to increase awareness of the relevance of current challenges in maternity care. Midwives are prepared to competently deal with current health issues, using innovative healthcare models, by taking on advanced and specialized roles. Methods: The course imparts knowledge and know-how for midwives who wish to prepare to take on duties in modern obstetric and maternity care. Midwifery master students complete interprofessional course modules, such as Ethics, Advanced Practice or Health Policy and Health Economics, conjointly with fellow students of nursing, physiotherapy as well as nutrition and dietetics degrees. Three profession-specific course modules focus on the challenges imposed by complex processes in perinatal care. Results: The case study of a 5th semester student shows how the course supports the development of the new role of an Advanced Practice Midwife (APM) in the field of perinatal mental health. As an assignment within the profession-specific course module Perinatal Mental Health the student developed a concept draft for an APM role. She presented the concept in her own field of work, where she was charged with further developing and advancing the project. Furthermore, the student focused her Transfer Course modules on the project and deepened her skills in mental health and research skills through work shadowing in a research department and mental health ward, also called ,,Crisis lntervention Centre", in a university psychiatric clinic. Based on the APN model she finally developed how to establish the APM role in her master thesis. To conduct the needs assessment for mentally ill pregnant women and mothers she is conducting a secondary data analysis of a research project of the Division of Midwifery of BFH. Relevance: The establishment of integrated and intersectoral healthcare models is currently being discussed in Switzerland. The models require specific skills in healthcare professionals. The interprofessionally oriented master studies at BFH teach midwives to meet the requirements of needs-based, family-centred perinatal healthcare and strengthen its quality. Recommendations/Conclusions: The interlocking of master studies and practice offers the unique opportunity to further develop innovative healthcare models which are aimed at addressing present and future challenges in healthcare delivery and which are based on research.

Within this context institutions of higher education are expected to train midwives as trendsetters in the development of new, integrated healthcare models which can meet the health needs of mothers and their families. Goal: The goal of the master course in midwifery is to increase awareness of the relevance of current challenges in maternity care. Midwives are prepared to competently deal with current health issues, using innovative healthcare models, by taking on advanced and specialized roles. Methods: The course imparts knowledge and know-how for midwives who wish to prepare to take on duties in modern obstetric and maternity care. Midwifery master students complete interprofessional course modules, such as Ethics, Advanced Practice or Health Policy and Health Economics, conjointly with fellow students of nursing, physiotherapy as well as nutrition and dietetics degrees. Three profession-specific course modules focus on the challenges imposed by complex processes in perinatal care. Results: The case study of a 5th semester student shows how the course supports the development of the new role of an Advanced Practice Midwife (APM) in the field of perinatal mental health. As an assignment within the profession-specific course module Perinatal Mental Health the student developed a concept draft for an APM role. She presented the concept in her own field of work, where she was charged with further developing and advancing the project. Furthermore, the student focused her Transfer Course modules on the project and deepened her skills in mental health and research skills through work shadowing in a research department and mental health ward, also called ,,Crisis lntervention Centre\", in a university psychiatric clinic. Based on the APN model she finally developed how to establish the APM role in her master thesis. To conduct the needs assessment for mentally ill pregnant women and mothers she is conducting a secondary data analysis of a research project of the Division of Midwifery of BFH. Seit rund 20 Jahren beobachten Schweizer Stadte die Entwicklungen in der Sozialhilfe. Durch den jahrlichen Kennzahlenvergleich konnen Verschiebungen in den Armutsrisiken verschiedener Bevolkerungsgruppen fruh erkannt werden. Gesunken ist der Sozialhilfebezug bei den jungen Erwachsenen, wahrend er bei den uber 45-Jahrigen steigt.
