Effectiveness of STEM-Based Mind Mapping Learning Model to Improve Students' Science Literacy in the Era of Revolution 4.0 基于stem的思维导图学习模式在4.0革命时代提高学生科学素养的有效性

This study aims to analyze the size effect of the STEM-based mind mapping learning model to increase students' scientific literacy in the revolutionary era 4.0. This type of research is meta-analysis. The research samples came from 15 national and international journals published from 2018-2023. The method for selecting this meta-analysis research data is through the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). Search for data sources through Google Scholar, Wiley, Eric and ProQuest. Data source collection techniques are direct observation and documentation through online databases. Data analysis is a quantitative analysis by calculating the effect size, standard error and average value with the help of the JSAP application. The results showed that from this study it could be concluded that the combined effect size value was (d = 1.30; p < 0.05) high criteria. These findings explain that STEM-based mind mapping models are more effective in improving scientific literacy skills in the 4.0 revolution era than conventional learning models. The STEM-based mind mapping learning model provides a new breakthrough in the world of educational technology.

Effectiveness of Flash Card Media-Oriented Group Investigation Learning Models on Learning Outcomes of Elementary Students 以闪存卡为媒介的小组调查学习模式对小学生学习成果的影响

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the flash card media-oriented group investigation (GI) learning model on the learning outcomes of elementary students. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with pre-experimental methods and the type of One Group Pretest-Posttest design. With the overall population of SD Inpres Oeba 2 class V students 22 people. Sampling using nonprobability sampling saturated sampling where all members of the population are sampled. The data collection technique was obtained from a multiple choice written test. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and inferential statistics with the help of the SPSS version 22 application. The results showed that independent t-test data processing obtained a sig value of 0.000 <0.05, then Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected or in other words there was a significant difference between pretest and posttest classes in improving student learning outcomes in the material for the digestive tract of food in humans. Thus, the Flash Card Oriented Group Investigation (GI) learning model can improve the Learning Outcomes of Class V Students of SD Inpres Oeba 2 Kupang City.

Analysis of Needs for Development of Android-Based Socioscientific Issues Teaching Materials on the Topic of Climate Change to Improve Students' Decision-Making Ability 基于android的气候变化社会科学问题教材开发需求分析提高学生决策能力

Teaching materials are vital recources for students in their learning process. Decision-making skills are one of the essential competencies that students have to possess in the 21st century. The global dilemmas being faced today and will get worse is climate change. The challenges caused by climate change that is occurring need to involve students looking for the best decisions as well as through these problems students will be able to train their decision-making abilities. This study aimed to analyze the importance of developing socio-scientific issues teaching materials to train decision-making skills so that later it will be improved. Data were collected through questionnaires filled out by 30 students to gauge their current decision-making abilities, revealing a tendency to rely on personal feelings. Additionally, 10 teachers were surveyed about their methods for enhancing students’ decision-making skills. This data was analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of the study found that the level of students' ability to make decisions is still low and based on their personal feelings. Also, there were no teaching materials containing socioscientific-issues to train students' decision-making skill. Thus, it is important to develop android-based socioscientific-issues teaching materials on the topic of climate change to improve students' decision-making skills.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the needs of development of physics e-module integrated with critical reading. Development using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This is descriptive qualitative research with questionnaire and interview methods. The data were analyzed using descriptive descriptively with the results of data processing in percent (%). The result showed that 86 % of physics teacher use the textbooks for teaching materials and 65.14 % of student’s thinking skills still in the low categories. Furthermore, the results also showed that 62.13 % of students have no interest in reading. It can be concluded that the development of physics e-module not only can be improving student’s critical thinking but also student’s scientific literacy.

Science Process Skills and Science Learning Motivation in Chemistry Learning with STEM Student Worksheets Through Floor Cleaning Formulations 通过地板清洁配方在STEM学生工作表化学学习中的科学过程技能和科学学习动机

This study aims to develop STEM student worksheets. The research method used is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model stages. Determination of the research sample using random sampling method with research subjects are students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Inshafuddin Banda Aceh. The results showed that students' science process skills increased significantly and were significantly different from the pretest based on the T-test. Students' science process skills increased in each indicator with an average N-gain score of 37 belonging to the medium category. Students' motivation to learn science is high with an average score of 87.38% belonging to the very good category.
本研究旨在开发STEM学生工作表。使用的研究方法是使用ADDIE模型阶段的研究与开发(R&D)。结果显示,学生的科学过程技能显著提高,且与前测有显著差异。学生的科学处理技能在每个指标上都有所提高,平均n -增益得分为37分,属于中等类别。学生学习科学的动机较高,平均得分为87.38%,属于非常好的类别。

Application of the STAD-Type Cooperative Model Assisted by Wordwall to Enhance Students Critical Thinking Ability 运用Wordwall辅助的stad型合作模式提高学生批判性思维能力

An advanced nation begins with individuals who are able to compete with other individuals based on the standards of ability needed by the world community, which are known as 21st-century abilities, one of which is the critical thinking ability. The application of the STAD-type cooperative model assisted by Wordwall aims to describe students critical thinking abilities and find differences in critical thinking abilities between control and experiment classes. The research design used nonequivalent post-test only control group. This research included all students in class X of MIPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru as a population. A sample of 66 students consisted of X MIPA 1 as control class and X MIPA 5 as experiment class. After the research was carried out, a critical thinking abilities post-test was given, which consisted of 12 multiple-choice questions as an instrument for data collection. Post-test results were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the experiment class was in the very good category with score 80.99, and the control class was in the good category with score 61.03. Then, in the inferential analysis, it is known that there are significant differences between experiment and control class

Analysis of Needs for the Development of Local Wisdom-Based Junior High School Science E-Modules Related to Ethnoscience in South Sumatera 南苏门答腊地方智慧型初中民族科学电子模块开发需求分析

This article aims to present the results of an analysis of the needs of local wisdom-based e-module teaching materials related to ethnoscience in South Sumatera. The data in this article were collected by distributing a questionnaire with the help of a Google form which was filled in by 35 science teachers and 69 students in grades VIII and IX at SMPN 1 Madang Suku I, even semester of the 2022/2023 school year, and then analyzed using descriptive analysis. The objects of study in this article include the suitability of KI and KD, the teaching materials used by teachers, and the needs of teachers and students for local wisdom-based e-modules related to ethnoscience in South Sumatera. The results of the study show that 100% of teachers use other handbooks and other teaching materials that are in accordance with KI and KD; 56.3% of teachers use special teaching materials other than books from schools to assist in understanding a material; 100% of teachers need e-module teaching materials based on local wisdom related to ethnoscience in South Sumatera which can be used to study material on liquid pressure; 23.2% of students have handbooks other than science books that are borrowed from the school; 92.8 Students look for other materials to help understand the science material; and 95.7% of students need e-module teaching materials based on local wisdom related to ethnoscience so that the subject matter is more interesting and easier to understand. Thus, it can be understood that e-module teaching materials based on local wisdom related to ethnoscience in South Sumatera are needed to make it easier for students to understand the material.

This study aims to develop and implement the instrument of science process skills tests on cellular living system organization matter, explicitly designed for secondary students. The indicators developed include formulating hypotheses, communicating, applying concepts, asking questions, observing, planning experiments, using laboratory tools, classifying, and interpreting data. The steps of this research are theoretical construction, determining the purpose of the assessment, constructing indicator items, compiling the items, expert judgment, instrument revision, field trials, and finalization of the instrument. The Science Process skills test consisted of 27 multiple-choice questions. The subject was 30 secondary school students. Data were analyzed using Rasch analysis. Evidence of the validity and reliability of the tests are presented. The conclusion is that the science process skills test instrument is theoretically and empirically valid and reliable

Dynamics of Water Quality for Vannamei Shrimp Cultivation in Intensive Ponds in Coastal Areas 沿海地区集约化池塘养殖凡纳美对虾水质动态研究

Cultivators increase production using intensive cultivation which applies stocking densities and feeding in high quantities, which triggers a decrease in water quality, both cultivation water and cultivation wastewater because it contains high levels of organic matter. Changes in water quality have an impact on plankton community structure. This research aims to determine the dynamics of the physical, chemical, and biological quality of cultivation media water and the disposal of vaname shrimp cultivation waste in Ujungpangkah District, Gresik Regency. The research was conducted in January 2023 using a survey method. Water and plankton samples were taken from reservoirs, ponds, and pond waste disposal sites. Sampling was carried out in vaname shrimp cultivation ponds in the Coastal Area of ​​Ujungpangkah District, Gresik Regency. The physical and chemical quality of water has a pattern of changes up and down but is relatively the same and stable every week. All of these water quality parameters show a pattern of change that is quite good for the growth of vaname shrimp, but in waste disposal, the parameters for nitrate, phosphate, ammonia, and TOM are above the quality standards. The highest abundance of plankton is in waste dumps, with the highest phytoplankton coming from the Bacillariophyta phylum (49%), while zooplankton comes from the Rotifera phylum (54%). Regular monitoring of water quality in ponds and waste disposal sites is required so that it remains stable and safe for the environment.
