We present the case of a 27-year-old patient with severe developmental amnesia syndrome. This diagnosis is rarely made when young patients present with memory complaints, and when it is, it is usually made very late. Individualised psycho-medico-social care can promote social and professional integration and limit disability. There is a need to raise awareness of this syndrome, the prevalence of which is underestimated.

Freezing of gait (FOG) occurs frequently in the course of Parkinson's disease and participates in dependence of these patients. The most frequent clinical forms are OFF-FOG, which disappears in ON state, and unresponsive FOG, which persists in ON state. We report a rare case of ON-FOG, which was induced by high levodopa doses and disappeared in OFF state. Pathophysiology could be close to peak dose dyskinesia. Treatment is challenging and will be discussed.

The French Group for Recommendations for Multiple Sclerosis (France4MS) for the French MS Society (SFSEP) updated its 2019 recommendations on immunization for patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). This update includes the most recent available immunoreactive treatments and specific situations (pregnancy, childhood, elderly patients, travelers, and COVID-19). Physicians and patients should be aware of the updated recommendations for immunizations of patients with MS.

Olivier Walusinski
A disciple of François Magendie (1783–1855), François-Achille Longet (1811–1871) devoted his entire career to studying the anatomy and physiology of the nervous system, notably by validating or invalidating discoveries made by others. In this way, he certified the exclusive motricity of the anterior medullary roots, and the exclusive sensitiveness of the posterior medullary roots. In his thesis, Longet localized meningeal hemorrhage to the subarachnoid space, distinguishing it from subdural hematoma, entities which had been confused prior to his work. By sacrificing several hundred animals, Longet attempted to elucidate nerve conduction and muscle contraction using electrical stimulation. As a neuroanatomist, he clarified the innervation of the various pharyngolaryngeal muscles and the soft palate, in order to develop a pathophysiology of dysphonia and swallowing disorders, previously unknown to him. His research into the functions of the cerebellum in body posture and walking made him a pioneer of posturology. His attempt to elucidate the mode of anesthetic action of ether led him to recommend application methods, reveal side-effects such as amnesia, and warn surgeons of the risks involved in its use.
