Lead zirconate titanate(PZT)/IPN piezoelectric composites with 0–3 connectivity consisting in PZT ceramic powder with nanoscale and Interpenetrating Polymer Networks(IPN) matrix were prepared through solution mixing method. The composites were polarized at 130 °C for 45 min under the electric field of 6.5 kV. The relationship of the preheating temperature of PZT and the electrical properties were studied and the effects of the polarization treatment of the piezoelectric phase on the electrical properties of 0–3 composites were investigated. The results showed that, with the same preheating temperature, the dielectric constant of PZT increased and the dielectric loss of PZT decreased after the polarization treatment. The dielectric constant and the piezoelectric constant of the composites with the polarized PZT in 0–3 piezoelectric composites both declined, whereas the dielectric loss changed unobvious.

A protocol for micropropagation of Lanzhou lily (Lilium davidii), an edible and ornamental plant in China was developed. The best results for bulblet formation, mean number of bulblets per explant, fresh weight and other bulblet regeneration parameters were obtained on the basal portion of the excised bulbscales on MS medium supplemented with 0.5 mg·L−1 NAA + 0.5 mg·L−1 BAP and 6–9% sucrose. 100% shoots were rooted on half-strength MS media containing 0.1 mg·L−1 NAA. After rooting the cloned plantlets were successfully hardened to ex vitro conditions and 95% of the regenerated plantlets survived normally in the soil.

To provide microbial evidence for technique improvement of anaerobic baffled reactor (ABR) - integrated oxidation ditch - biological aerated filter (BAF) combined processes for landfill leachate treatment, microbial community structure of the treatment system under different recycle ratios were investigated by polymerase chain reaction-denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (PCR-DGGE) combined with sequencing and phylogenetic analysis. The results indicated that, under high recycle ratio, microbial community structure changed slightly along with reactor and running time, and microbial community diversity in the anaerobic part of ABR had no significant change, but reduced in the anoxic part of ABR, oxidation ditch and BAF with the increase of recycle ratio. Sequencing results revealed that there may be other denitrification modes of autotrophic denitrification and anaerobic ammonia oxidation in ABR besides conventional biological denitrification. It concluded that the systemic population diversity indexes decreased, and the phase separation of acidogenesis and methanogenesis was destroyed longitudinally down the ABR with high recycle ratio, which illustrated the decrease of running stability of the treatment system. The results provide some valuable references for design and operation of the treatment system.

To improve the development research of dual airflow windows, two kinds of dual airflow windows with the different frame materials have been studied respectively under the static and dynamic conditions. Under the static condition, the thermal performances of these windows were evaluated by heat transfer coefficient. Via the hot-box experiments, heat transfer coefficients were obtained: the aluminum-alloy window is 3.16W/(m2.K) and the aluminum clad wood window is 1.6W/(m2.K). Under the dynamic condition, the comprehensive energy demand was chosen to represent the thermal performances, which was measured in the dynamic energy demand laboratory for one week in the winter. The results show that the differences of the full-day and hourly energy demand are very little between the aluminum-alloy windows and the aluminum clad wood windows. It has been found that solar radiation has an important impact on energy demand: the southward dual airflow windows don't consume energy at noon and frost is rare.

Great changes have already been and are still taking place in Chinese economic and social life since early 90s, which as a result brings significant pressure to the transportation systems of almost all Chinese big cities. By the researching currently, not only traffic signal control systems but also traffic guidance and services systems, are all strategies used in two-dimension. Building integrative transportation data base based on remote sensing technology can construct transport management systems in there-dimension. This paper analyzes how to combine remote sensing technology with transport management, puts forward formation of integrative transport data base and describes its applications in the future.

With inorganic salt solution as the raw materials, ZnFe2O4 nanoparticles was successfully prepared by the carbon adsorption method. The samples were characterized by XRD, SEM and VSM. The XRD results show that the high purity ZnFe2O4 nanoparticles can be prepared at 500 °C. SEM observation reveals that the as-prepared ZnFe2O4 nanoparticles have a uniform particle size, and the particles are almost spherical without any agglomeration, the “S” shape hysteresis loops of ZnFe2O4 nanoparticles explain that the samples display superparamagnetic under room temperature.

The synergistic domestication and culture conditions are studied and quantity of adding cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone to culture medium is fixed: 0.6mL·L−1 (culture medium). A bacterial strain SYSHHJ1 using cyclohexane as the sole source of carbon and energy was obtained by synergistic domestication culture. And then effect of growth conditions such as culture times, cyclohexane mass concentration, pH, salt concentration and temperature on strain SYSHHJ1 is studied, and orthogonal experiment is designed, the optional culture conditions of the strain were obtained as: culture time is 84∼108 h, cyclohexane mass concentration is 480mg·L−1, pH is 6, salt concentration is 10g·L−1, temperature is 30°C. Metabolic product is analyzed by HPLC and the result proved also that cyclohexane can be utilized by strain SYSHHJ1.

Curcumin, a polyphenolic compound derived from dietary spice turmeric, possesses diverse pharmacologic effects including antioxidant, anti-ininflammatory, antitumor and chemoprotective effects. However, its clinical applications were initially limited by its poor absorption, rapid metabolism and rapid systemic elimination. To improve the bioavailability of curcumin, new approaches have to be taken. Three curcumin derivatives (mPEG2k-Gly-Cur, mPEG2k-Gly-Cur-OA and Cur-OA2) were synthesized in this paper, and their biodistribution was analyzed by HPLC technique. In mice, all compounds were administered i.v. (equal to free curcumin 20 mg/kg), and the results confirmed the rapid clearance of free curcumin in blood and liver, but it was beyond our expectation to observe the remarkable lung tissue accumulation effect of curcumin, with Cmax= 193.12 µg/g after 30 min of administration, and can still be detected with 8.25 µg/g after 4 h. PEGylation can extend the circulation half-life of curcumin, but the effect was limited attributed to the low molecular weight of PEG. PEG co-modify with Oleic acid can increase liver uptake of curcumin. Oleic acid alone esterified curcumin can significantly increase curcumin level in liver, and can be detected with 15.77 µg/g after 4 h. In conclusion, our finding suggested that free curcumin have the lung accumulation property, which implied lung disease therapeutic effect; and it would also be suitable for curcumin to explore pulmonary delivery system so as to increase its bioavailability. Additionally, Oleic acid esterification method could be another way to enhance curcumin activity in certain specific organs, especially in liver.

Observations of tropospheric column densities of NO2 obtained from the satellite instruments OMI for the period of 2005 to 2010 are used to derive average monthly and seasonal variations over China. The obtained results indicate that NO2 has an imbalanced spatial distribution with the highest level in North China, Yangtze Rive Delta region and Pearl River Delta region. The seasonal pattern of the NO2 concentration shows a difference between the east and west in China. In the eastern part of China, an expected winter maximum in seasonal cycle is found. In the western part this cycle shows a NO2 maximum in summer time. The NO2 concentration shows a large growth over eastern China during the same period. Correlation analysis reveals that column densities of NO2 is the most closely correlated with coal consumption per unit area and population density.
