This paper presents a new technique of accurate fault location based on an improved joint diagonalization algorithm — Three Iterations Algorithm(TIA). It employs the fault generated high-frequency transients, which contain abundant fault information. The FFT algorithm and TIA are combined to analyze the selected mode component of the fault generated high-frequency transients to accurately found the difference of the adjacent natural frequencies and realize the fault location. A typical 500kV system in MATLAB is used to verify the performance. The simulation results show that the proposed method can improve the accuracy of fault location, whereas require less sampling points and less computation.

In order to rationally choose the mutual cross modes of the two routes on different planes, we analyzed the optimization design of the highway separate grade crossing. Combining with the changeable design idea, from the point of survey and design, we put forward the several problems that should pay attention to when we make the optimization design, so as to choose the most optimal scheme and exert its function. So that the separate grade crossing not only satisfy the needs of the traffic function, correspond to the modes of the overall layout, but also ensure the coordination between road and the surrounding environment.

Open source communities play an important role in open source software's development. Performance shows the result of all activities in an open source community (OSC). Based on the analysis of the components of an OSC and its knowledge sharing approaches, a reference model for evaluating performance of an OSC is presented, which consists of a new index system and a method based on Delphi-Ideal for evaluating performance of the OSC. A formula measuring open source software's knowledge exchange index with knowledge currency unit is also given. Finally, a concrete example is illustrated in this paper.

This paper focus on orthogonal design of a small gas burner which burns clean gas fuels such as natural gas (methane), hydrogen. In order to optimize the structure of the gas burner, several burners with different sizes are presented and discussed in this paper, by comparing the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation results of the combustion characteristic basing on the orthogonal design method. The burner structure is optimized basing on the CFD simulation. The CFD simulation results show that the optimized burner gets the better performance and higher temperature at the outlet than other structures.

After the establishment of computer assistant instruction (CAI) system in China, the design of instruction software has become the bottleneck of further development. This article targets the rewarded teachers and their works research in nationwide multimedia course competition, makes a questionnaire investigation and interview on CAI course exploitation and its usage situation in universities, and makes an analysis and research on the investigative results, puts forward the approaches of improving validity of multimedia CAI course, expects it will advance better development of CAI and further improvement of instruction quality in universities.

Taking the inking system of ROLAND 700 Sheetfed Offset for example, by the way of computer simulation, this paper analysis the distribution of ink film thicknesses which come from Ink fountain of different image coverage zone and transfer to the substrates by inking system, puts forward that the ink of high image coverage zone will flow to the adjacent low image coverage zone because of vibrator oscillation, it lead to lack of ink in high image coverage zone and too much ink in low image coverage zone. The change of ink thickness on paper from high image coverage to low image coverage zone is continuous but non-monotonic, so the output ink on the ink fountain roller need to be compensated.

A system scheme of the stand-alone photovoltaic inverter based on parallel charge topology for the purpose of improving the energy conversion efficiency and optimizing the battery management was introduced. A novel circuit topology of the DC-AC inverter with the soft switching property using IGBTs and MOSFETs was presented. A modified P&O algorithm for better tracking performance with adaptive step length adjustment was proposed. And a comprehensive strategy for maximum power point tracking (MPPT) with the Constant Voltage Tracking (CVT) algorithm and the modified adaptive Perturbation and Observation (P&O) algorithm was developed. A prototype was implemented to very the feasibility of the proposed scheme.

Vector control technology is widely used in high-performance variable frequency speed regulation system of AC asynchronous motor. In this paper, the basic principle of voltage space vector control has been introduced briefly, and a SVPWM (Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation) AC induction motor speed control system employing a core TMS320LF2407A-type DSP(Digital Signal Processor) chip controller has been described and analyzed. The obtained simulation results indicate that the proposed speed regulation system has excellent dynamic and static performance, and the feasibility and superiority of the SVPWM control method are demonstrated.

Colorization is a computer-assisted technique of adding colors to monochrome images, movies or TV programs. This paper proposes a colorizing scheme for image sequences based on motion estimation and color revising. First the motion vector is refined by a block based neighborhood relaxation. Then the color transfer is established between image sequences. To remove the incorrect colors may occurred during the color transfer, a color revising method is put forward, which consists of image segmentation, region merging, error detection and correction. This colorization scheme has been tested with real image sequences and the results demonstrate its validity and efficiency.
