Study on Dissolving Rules of Nano Particles from E. camaldulensis Wood Flour 山竹木粉中纳米颗粒的溶解规律研究

Now Eucalyptus wood begins to be used to pulp. The leaching rule of nano particles from E.camaldulensis Wood has an important significance in the forestry research and paper making engineering. Therefore, based on the single-factor method, the fresh E. camaldulensis shavings were treated by LiOH in a concentration range of 0.5%~25% g/mL and the duration is 3, 16 and 24 hours respectively. The extraction mass was analyzed and the results were discussed. The filtrates were analyzed by ZETA and SIZER. The results were following as: (1)The extraction mass arrived at the maximum value when concentration is about 17.5%. (2)The micro/nano particles in the diameter of 531-1720 nm, 531-17200 nm, 164-531nm is the most at the extracting time of 3h, 16h, 24h, respectively (2) The diameter the micro/nano particles of wood extractives and hemicellulose is chiefly between 164-1720 nm according to number fraction. However, there are micro particles in the diameter of more than 1720nm when LiOH concentration is biger than 15%. The micro/nano particles in the diameter of 531-1720 nm, 531-1720 nm, 164-531 nm is the most at the extracting time of 3h, 16h, 24h, respectively.

Bioluminescence Imaging Based on Structure-Enhanced Image Restoration 基于结构增强图像恢复的生物发光成像

Bioluminescence Imaging (BLI) is a powerful methodology for molecular imaging of small laboratory animals. This paper proposes our latest developed bioluminescence technology that enables the study of ongoing biological processes in vivo. This prototype technology includes the hardware/ software integrated system with some image restoration algorithm based on structure enhanced median filtering and morphological structure detection. Successful experiment results using in vivo small animal are presented in this paper.

WDM-PON Using ASK Modulation with Polarization Multiplexing WDM-PON采用ASK调制和偏振复用

We propose and experimentally demonstrate bidirectional transmission of signal in WDM-PON using Amplitude Shift Keying (ASK) modulation based on a novel polarization multiplexing approach. Polarizing beam splitter (PBS) is used for regulating extinction ratio (ER) and achieving good optical signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for signal transmission. KeywordsASK; PBS;WDM

Theoretical Investigation of Holography Time Constants in LiNbO3:Fe:Mn Crystals LiNbO3:Fe:Mn晶体全息时间常数的理论研究

The method for investigating the holography time constants in two-center holographic recording is proposed. The effects of the Fe and Mn concentrations, oxidization-reduction state and intensity ratio IR/IUV on the recording time constant and erasure time constant in doubly doped LiNbO3:Fe:Mn crystal are theoretically studied by using the numerical method. The results show that the smaller recording time constant and the larger erasure time constant can be achieved simultaneously by using the lower Mn concentration and the larger intensity ratio IR/IUV in multiplexing holograms. Study of Fabricated System Based on Nanosecond Pulse Laser 基于纳秒脉冲激光的制式系统研究

Laser machining systems have been widely applied in micro-fabrication process development for 20 years. The current availability of nanosecond pulse UV laser sources is broadening the applications of laser micro-processing. In this work we present main features and potential applications of an integrative nanosecond pulse laser micro-machining numerical control system. Nanosecond Pulse Ultraviolet Laser (355nm) machining is an important method for developing micro structures. According to the special need for micro-machining, we designed a NC system based on PCI bus and FPGA technologies. This system consists of a 3-D motion platform including a displacement signal feedback system with accuracy of 1 um, a CCD (Charge Coupled Device) monitor and a workstation. After briefly describing the laser machining system, some micro structures were fabricated with different laser parameters. And a morphological characteristic is evaluated by optical microscopy. Growth and Characteristics Analysis of the Thermal Oxide Grown on Gallium Nitride 氮化镓上生长热氧化物的生长及特性分析

The thermal oxidation process at 900°C in dry oxygen O2 on gallium nitride (GaN) and the physical characteristics of the oxide thin films are investigated by spectroscopic ellipsometry (SE) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). XPS spectra of Ga3d and O1s core levels indicates that the thermal oxide is gallium oxide (Ga2O3), and the existence of much O loss on the surface induces the ratio of Ga to O is more than 1. SE metrical results indicate the average grown rate is ~25nm/h. The refractive index of Ga2O3 is 1.8~2.1 in the wavelength range of 300~800nm, which agrees with the prevenient study results. However, anomalous refractive phenomenon appeares at 300~400nm, the reason is probably interrelated with the strong absorbance of GaN in this wavelength range and needs deeper study later. Such stable and controllable Ga2O3 thermal growth process is significant for GaN gate dielectric applications in the future.

Rate Control Algorithm for Multi-View Video Coding Based on Correlation Analysis 基于相关分析的多视点视频编码速率控制算法

on the research of optimum bit allocation with rate-distortion theory[15], however the algorithm is too complicated to be implemented actually. Besides, the algorithm just aims at the binocular video transmission, so that it is difficult for it to solve the bit allocation and rate control in multi-view video coding. It is necessary to study the efficient and relevant algorithm of bit allocation and RC. In this paper, we improve the RDmodel to better predict the bit rate firstly. Then we propose a multi-view video oriented frame level RC algorithm which is based on the character of MVC and requirement of RC. Experimental results show that compared with the Multi-view video coding using fixed quantization parameter (QP), our multi-view video oriented bit allocation and RC algorithm in which the parameters are predefined can control the bit rate more efficiently. Young's Modulus Detection for the Low-k Film by Laser-Generated SAWs 激光生成saw对低k薄膜的杨氏模量检测

Advances of laser have opened new possibilities in the field of detection. The technology of laser-generated surface acoustic waves (LSAWs) is one of the applications of laser. According to the thermal-elastic theory, surface acoustic waves (SAWs) could be generated through rapid heating and subsequent expansion of the surface layer when the laser pulse irradiates on the surface of sample. The abundant information of sample surface could be obtained by testing and analyzing the SAW waveforms. The SAWs are dispersive when the waves propagate on the layered film structure. The Young's Modulus (E) of the film can be determined accurately and conveniently by matching the experimental dispersion curve with the theoretical curves. An experimental system is constructed to detect the E value of a low-k film which is deposited on the silicon (100) substrate by the method of LSAWs.

Simulation of the Diffraction Propagation of the Output Beam of Laser Expanding System 激光扩展系统输出光束衍射传播的模拟

In order to study the effect of the laser expanding system on the control of the beam transmission in laser propulsion technology, the expanding system and the annular incidence Gaussian beam due to the telescope's center obscure were founded by the optical design software named ZEMAX. By the method of Physical Optics Propagation, the output beam's characteristics including the waist, the waist position, the far field divergence, and the energy distributing characteristics were obtained; rules of the image aberration's effect on the output beam's characteristics and the expanding ratio were analyzed. Then, taking encircled power and uniformity of the output beam for standards, the relation curve of the optimal expanding ratio and the launch distance was achieved. The results reveal that the width of the output beam at a distance of 100 m is less than 250 mm, a maximal collimation distance can be about 2 km, and the energy focus degree and the uniformity of the far field laser are also quite well. These indexes can satisfy the demands of transmission and control of laser beam in laser propulsion technology. Firstly, this paper found the models of the expanding system and the incidence beam. Then, by the method of Physical Optics Propagation, the process of transmission and gradual change of the output laser beam is studied, the characteristic parameters of space and energy distribution were analyzed, the optimal distance between the primary and secondary mirror at definite launching distance were acquired. Finally, taking encircled power(PIB) and uniformity of the laser beam for standards, the optimal expanding ratio at some distance was achieved. The results can be used in the transmission and control of the laser beam in laser propulsion technology.

An Improved Centroid Algorithm for a Surface Plasmon Resonance Bioanalyzer Using Microprocessors 微处理器表面等离子共振生物分析仪的改进质心算法

We present an improved centroid algorithm designed for an economical, high-performance biomolecular interaction analyzer, which is based on the use of TSPR1k23 biosensors and composed of a microflow cell, a thermoelectric cooler (TEC), a clamp, a touch-screen monitor, three microprocessors and a photoelectronic conversion device. The proposed algorithm can be applied to asymmetric surfac plasmon resonance (SPR) curves often obtained by a gold-based SPR biochemical analyzer and evaluated by the numerical calculations. The validity and efficiency of the algorithm were demonstrated by a comparison of the numerical calculation results with the experimental results obtained by using the SPR biochemical analyzer to measure the ethanol solutions with five concentrations of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 wt.%. The sensitivity of the SPR biochemical analyzer was fairly enhanced by the improved centroid algorithm that we argued in this work even without the assistance of a laptop computer. In comparsion with the first-order centroid algorithm, the experimental results further showed that the errors of measurement could be reduced when such an improved centroid algorithm was used.
