The scheme and design of the duplex four-horn operating with a circular polarized waves irradiator with four receiving outputs are presented. To use the irradiator for a dual-reflector antenna feed the design contains a dielectric lens forming a narrow radiation pattern with a low side lobe level. Results of the Ka-band irradiator study are presented.

The construction principles description and operation algorithms of high potential Ka-band radio-wave imaging radar station (RWIRS) are presented. RWIRS is constructed on basis of the double mirror antenna system of the radio telescope RT 7.5 of Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Some results of orbital objects observation are described.

The present paper concerns the research results of a numerical simulation of combinational frequencies waves' excitation by the multiharmonic signal amplification in a M-type TWT, which is a superposition of monochromatic waves. The paper shows the possibility to control a power level of combination components in the output signal spectrum by means of changing an input power level of an additional control signal.

Physical mechanisms of jamming appearing during coherent radars' operation are analyzed. The dependence of the jamming level on the wind speed is structured. It is shown that power reflected from the sea surface in the direction of the target signal with increasing wind speed decreases rapidly. It is shown that the non-linear effects in the field of sea waves which lead to deviations in inclination distribution from Gausse distribution do not influence the change of jamming level with the wind force increase.

The present paper concerns the possibility of using components of telecommunication fiber-optic links implementing Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology to build the beamforming systems for broadband receiving phased array antennas. The paper presents the results of experimental study of the characteristics of the fiber-optic microwave signals' transmission link model, composed of components available in the market. The obtained estimation of the model's main parameters, i.e. transfer coefficient, the transfer characteristic, compression point, dynamic range, harmonic distortions, noise level, are given.

Possibility of the essential increase of the eigen Q-factor of the waveguide-dielectric resonator (WDR) on the fundamental asymmetrical mode of the magnetic type for the frequency tuning with help of resonance short-circuit plunger has been shown. For the WDR on the basis of a circular evanescent waveguide section with Teflon dielectric in 8-mm band the Q-factor of the resonator exceeding 2400 was obtained for all turn frequency band which is about 10%.

The transition to chaos in semiconductor superlattice coupled to external resonant system had been investigated. We have shown that transition to chaos goes through type I intermittency in the system under study. This fact is approved by dependence of the mean laminar phase length versus criticality parameter, and form of Poincare mapping.

The present paper concerns the state of the art of the development and experimental investigations of subterahertz gyrotrons for spectroscopy applications at IAP RAS. The gyrotron with frequency of 258 GHz and power of 100 watts is successfully used for spectroscopy experiments and 80-time rising of sensitivity has been obtained. The fundamental harmonic gyrotron with an internal mode converter is under development now. The predicted efficiency is 20% at power about 100 W and frequency of 263 GHz. The same helium-free 10-T magnet and electron optics will be used for design of a second harmonic tube with operating frequency of 520 GHz.
