This article presents the results of the research project, which objectives were to generate and implement an environmental governance strategy that directs actions for the sustainable use of the water resources of the Santiaguillo’s basin. Through the methodology of participatory action research, and based on the theoreticalconceptual framework, key social actors were identified and actions were taken. It is concluded that –through environmental governance, actions are encouraged that lead to the sustainable use of the water resources of the Santiaguillo’s basin, such as the intermunicipal order of the basin, and the active participation of civil society, NGOs, companies and government.

espanolEl presente estudio ha tenido un doble proposito: (a) examinar el impacto de una unidad didactica de ultimate bajo las premisas del Modelo de Educacion Deportiva (MED) sobre el comportamiento y la sensibilidad interculturales de estudiantes de sexto de primaria en un grupo de alta diversidad cultural; y (b) conocer su incidencia especifica en el rol de alumno-entrenador. Participaron 18 estudiantes (en su totalidad de sexo masculino) con edades comprendidas entre los 11 y 13 anos (M = 11.65; DT = .76) pertenecientes a un colegio publico ubicado en el sur de Espana. Se llevo a cabo un diseno cuasiexperimental con medidas pretest y postest. La informacion cuantitativa fue recabada a traves de dos cuestionarios para estudiantes, mientras que los datos cualitativos se recogieron mediante un diario docente y entrevistas tanto al profesorado como al alumnado. Los resultados mas destacados parecen haber revelado, por un lado, el potencial del MED para favorecer la integracion de los estudiantes independientemente de sus caracteristicas individuales y, por otro, el uso de la pizarra como eficaz herramienta de andamiaje respecto al rol de alumno-entrenador. Por su parte, la intervencion no provoco diferencias significativas en el comportamiento intercultural de los participantes. Eighteen male students aged from 11 to 13 (M = 11.65; DT = .76) from a southern Spain state school took part in this study. A quasi-experimental design, pretest and postest measures, was carried out. Data collection included two student questionnaires, a teacher’s diary and interviews for both students and teacher. Results suggest that SEM-based interventions had shown the potential to promote integration among students beyond their individualities. Furthermore, the use of small whiteboards has been showed as positive strategy for scaffolding the student-coach role. On the other hand, the intervention has no promoted significant differences on students’ intercultural behavior.

espanolEn este articulo se desarrolla una linea de trabajo basada en la investigacion que estamos realizando en la Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB), para mejorar la adquisicion de las competencias personales y prosociales en los grados de Educacion Infantil y de Educacion Primaria. En el se explica como hemos trasladado los resultados de dicha investigacion, inicialmente planteados desde una perspectiva general de la formacion de los maestros a traves del practicum, a la ensenanza de las actividades fisicas en la naturaleza, vinculandolos a la evaluacion de las competencias. La aportacion innovadora mas relevante ha sido crear una herramienta, en forma de cuestionario o rubrica de evaluacion formativa, que tiene la finalidad de facilitar la comprobacion y la valoracion de los logros que consigue el alumnado respecto a las competencias personales y prosociales. Argumentaremos que el cuestionario es una herramienta util tanto para el profesorado que incluye en sus programas las actividades fisicas en la naturaleza, como para el alumnado que las realiza. EnglishThis article develops a line of work based on research that we are doing at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB), to improve the acquisition of personal and proactive skills in the levels of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. We explain how we have translated the results of this research, initially raised from a general perspective of the training of teachers through practical, to the teaching of physical activities in nature, linking them to the assessment of skills. The most relevant innovative contribution is a tool, in the form of a questionnaire of formative evaluation. That has the purpose of facilitating the verification and the evaluation of the students´ achievements with respect to those competences. As will be shown below, it is a useful tool for teachers who want to include activities in natural environments as well as for the students who carry them out.

El estudio se inicia con un breve repaso historico que se subdivide en dos fases muy recientes: 2008-2010 y 2010-2011. Posteriormente, se llega al objetivo general de la investigacion que consiste en solicitar la presencia del Instituto Cervantes en la hamada de Tinduf. Para ello, primero se informa sobre la formacion del profesorado que oferta el Instituto Cervantes en el mundo y, a continuacion, se presentan las expectativas de los profesores de espanol en los campamentos derefugiados saharauis de Tinduf respecto al Instituto Cervantes, segun los datos de la investigacion. EnglishThe present study is dedicated to an issue that has barely been researched: the training of Spanish teachers in the Sahrawi refugee camps of Tindouf. The study begins with a brief historical review that is subdivided into two very recent phases: 2008-2010 and 2010-2011. Afterwards, the general objective of the research is reached, which consists in requesting the presence of the Cervantes Institute in the Tindouf’s hamada. To do this, we first inform about the teacher’s training offered by the Cervantes Institute all over the world, and then we show the expectations of the Spanish teachers in the Sahrawi refugee camps of Tindouf regarding the Cervantes Institute, according to the data file of the investigation

espanolEste articulo presenta el desarrollo de un proyecto basado en la metodologia del Aprendizaje- Servicio. Se aplico en la asignatura Actividades Fisico-Deportivas en el Medio Natural del Grado de Ciencias de la Actividad Fisica y el Deporte de la Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. El objetivo es mostrar las posibilidades formativas de esta metodologia, donde la naturaleza y la practica de actividad fisica son ejes vertebradores de la propuesta, ademas de generar un entorno inclusivo basado en el aprendizaje mutuo y reciproco entre estudiantes de la Universidad. El alumnado se forma en un contexto real, aprendiendo a plantear buenas practicas en la naturaleza dentro de un programa compartido con jovenes con discapacidad intelectual. Los resultados muestran los beneficios del uso de esta metodologia, donde se aprenden los contenidos propios de las actividades fisicas en el medio natural, fomentando un ocio activo-inclusivo en la naturaleza, ademas de generar un compromiso y una responsabilidad social. It was applied to the course “Physical Activities in the Natural Environment” from the Physical Activity and Sport Sciences Degree at Autonomous University of Madrid. The aim of this research is to show the formative possibilities of this methodology where nature and physical activity are the main axes, in addition to generating an inclusive environment based on mutual and reciprocal learning among University undergraduates. The students are formed in a real context, learning to propose good practices in nature within a program shared with intellectually disabled young people. The results show the benefits of this methodology where students learn the contents of physical activities in the natural environment, promoting an active-inclusive leisure in nature while generating a commitment and a social responsibility.

This work, considering official data of users of women's shelter in Andalusia, applies statistical techniques to differentiate between the profile of the women that return with the abuser and the profile of the women that choose any other residence, both after undergoing the plan of integral recovery (psychological, juridical and socio-educational). The conclusions highlight that aspects like the nationality, the economic capacity or the number of children are determinant factors on residence decision before the integral recovery plan.

The objective of the article is to remark the relevance of the social and political dimensions in the urban river restoration initiatives. The author assumes that there are several cognitive frames to understand the river pollution. Epistemic community is a useful concept in order to develop this kind of plurality. The epistemic community consolidation lies in the opening and continuity of deliberative spaces. This theoretical proposal is illustrated with different cognitive frames from actors interviews, identified in the government initiative to build an epistemic community to rescue the Magdalena river, located in Mexico City.

This paper analyzes, from a theoretical point of view, the development of an explanation of Mexican youth social vulnerability through some statistical evidence, which showed the weakness of institutions, which have been favorable to the reproduction of gender inequality that is linked at the same time to the context of poverty and social inequality. It is concluded that in Mexico City precarious youth plays in various ways despite the institutionalization of the different social assistance programs.

The purpose is to explore if those goods generated by the participation of citizens can be conceptualized as commons. The argument is supported on the assumption that associations are spaces of free participation built upon a particular kind of rules and relations for the use and distribution of the resources and assets shared. Following this line, the paper identifies the actives that could be characterized as commons in two spheres: those that are shared and generated as result of the integration of members to associative groups, and those generated by associations as result of their actions
