Research of autoconvolution method efficiency under control of photonic crystal fibers positioning 光子晶体光纤定位控制下的自卷积方法效率研究

In this report results of modeling and experimental researches of the photonic crystal fibers positioning control method based on the analysis of a measured optical field intensity and calculation of its discrete values autoconvolution are represented. Efficiency and accuracy of a method were checked by test image moving on the set size supervised by the certified measuring instrument of small moving.

Influence of the spectral tuning on modulation response of dynamic single-mode heterolasers (1.5 µm-diapason) 光谱调谐对动态单模异光激光器(1.5µm-diapason)调制响应的影响

Using numerical modeling, influence of tuning the lasing frequency within the gain band on the modulation response of quantum-well heterolasers in the GaInAs-GaInAsP system versus the modulation frequency of pump current is investigated. It is established that maximum values of the frequency width of the response band and possibilities of realization of high-speed regimes at signal transmission in information systems are obtained at the central region of the gain band. Growth of the direct component of the pump current results in increasing the response bandwidth. At typical system parameters (in the region of 1.5 µm) the maximum value of the response bandwidth can be up to ≈ 40 GHz.

Evolution of waves after plasma ignition in a sphere 等离子体在球体内点火后波的演化

The transformation of an incident plane harmonic wave caused by instant creation of a plasma sphere is investigated. Two stages of field evolution is shown. At the early stage a spatial and temporal field structure is similar partly to the case of an unbounded medium. Transients in the form of a nonstationary wave spectrum are observed at the second stage. The exact expressions for the transformed field is obtained by virtue of the solution of an initial and boundary value electromagnetic problem for Maxwell's equations based on the longitudinal and transverse spherical vector functions.

CESNET is an association of universities and Academy of science of Czech republic. It is operating a national research and education network (NREN) interconnecting all university cities in the republic. On some lines it it very reasonable to use only one single fiber line. In this paper we discuss technology used on such lines in the CESNET backbone. The key motivation for CLA-based static DWDM systems is optical line deployment with the cost effective solution to get a few independent optical channels (typically 4–8) with capacity 1–10 Gbps for various data connections on one dark fiber pair.

Optimization of CdxHg1−xTe laser structures and stimulated emission at room temperature under optical excitation 光激发下CdxHg1−xTe激光器结构和室温受激发射的优化

The main requirements for the MCT (CdxHg1−xTe) structures optimization for increase of the stimulated emission wavelength under optical pumping are discussed. The stimulated emission at wavelengths 2–2.5 µm at room temperature from optimized MCT structures is observed experimentally. The obtained experimental data are the first observation of stimulated emission from the MCT structures at these wavelengths at room temperature.

In excimer lasers Chang's profile and Ernst's profile are widely used. At relation of value of interelectrode distance (h) to electrodes width (b) h/b> 0,5 significant heterogeneity of electric field on coordinate Y takes place. Research of electric field spatial dependence was carried out with help of conformal transformations application.

Temperature dependences of electron threshold current density in ZnSe-based laser heterostructures for the temperature range of 12–300 K and electron energies of 3.5–8.1 keV have been studied in detail. The minimum value of threshold current density of 0.2 A/cm2 has been measured at the electron energy E = 8 keV and temperature T = 50 K. The analysis of experimental and simulated data indicates on the possibility to reduce the electron energy at room temperature down to 1–2 keV value.

Time-domain BPM for modeling ultrashort pulsed optical beams in dispersive medium 色散介质中超短脉冲光束的时域BPM建模

In this paper we propose an efficient numerical technique to model the propagation of an ultrashort pulsed optical beam in dispersive dielectric medium. The method has been efficiently used for the modeling of non-dispersive medium. A moving numerical time window along the propagation of the field allows large saving of computational time and memory in comparison with the conventional FDTD to solve such type of problem.

Lead-fluoride nano-glassceramics doped with ytterbium and erbium have been developed and synthesized. The influence of heating on the green up-conversion luminescence of erbium has been experimentally investigated. Nano-glassceramics are promising candidates for temperature sensors.

Criterion for the appearance of negative dielectric areas in crystals 晶体中出现负介电区的判据

Damping of the polar vibrations determines the real limits of negative dielectric permittivity (DP) region as shown in this work. We obtain the simple quantitative criterion for the negative DP existence in the single oscillatory approximation model. We introduce this criterion as inequality between the damping constant and T-L frequency splitting of the polar phonon. This inequality is the sufficient condition for existence of negative dielectric permittivity and it is shown its applicability to the many oscillation cases.
