Kabupaten Labuhanbatu. Pandemi covid-19 tentu mengakibatkan perubahan yang sangat signifikan di berbagai bidang. Salah satunya di bidang ekonomi. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan kepada petani tentang budidaya semangka, mengarahkan petani untuk memanfaatkan lahan tidur menjadi lahan produktif dan memberikan edukasi tentang manajemen wirausaha mandiri untuk produksi dan pemasaran semangka. Kepada kelompok petani didusun Siluang desa Gunung Selamat Kecamatan Bilah Hulu Kabupatren Labuhanbatu. Permasalahan yang timbul adalah para anggota kelompok tani belumpernahmemperolehinformasidanpelatihantentang teknik budidaya semangka. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan langsung yang terdiri dari tahapan pembentukan kelompok tani, sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat partisipasi masyarakat sangat tinggi untuk memamnfaatkan lahan tidur, pemahaman tentang teknik budidaya semangka meningkat dan dukungan pemerintah desa dan masyarakat sangat tinggi.

Usaha rumah tangga (home industri) adalah usaha yang dimulai dari kecil dengan harapan dapat berkembang kedepannya dan mendapatkan laba yang besar, usaha ini tentunya dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian. Keripik ubi adalah jenis makanan ringan yang enak disantap saat bersantai yang memiliki cita rasa yang berbeda dan dimakan sesuai dengan keinginan pengkonsumsi. Tujuan pengabdian ini di lakukan dengan persiapan program, sosialisasi keripik ubi serta pendampingan dan strategi pemasaran keripik ubi, metode pengumpulan data dengan ikuti praktek langsung, wawancara dan angket.Analisi yang di lakukan dengan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari pengabdian adalah pelaku usaha bisnis rumah tangga mulai mencoba untuk memasarkan produk dengan cara online dan terus berusaha untuk meningkatkan pemasarannya. Pandemik Covid-19 berdampak pada perkembangan bisnis UKM di Indonesia termasuk Bungong Chirih. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan volume penjualan produk kerajinan tenun lidi nipah pada kelompok Bungong Chirih. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di desa Mangan Gleum, Kecamtan Peureulak, Kabupaten Aceh Timur dengan melibatkan 23 orang peserta. Metode yang digunakan berupa pendekatan Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), Participatory Tecnology Development, dan Community development. Telah terjadi peningkatan jumlah produk tenun lidi nipah dari 13 jenis pada tahun 2019 menjadi 34 jenis pada tahun 2020. Terdapat penambahan varian produk berupa produk tenun lidi nipah motif khas Aceh sebanyak 15 jenis produk. Pengembangan pemasaran online menjadi langkah efektif dalam mempertahankan bisnis pada masa pandemik Covid-19.

Pemanfaatan waktu masa pandemi saat ini menunjukkan bahwa waktu yang dimiliki ibu rumah tangga semakin sering berada di rumah. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan membekali pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi khayalak sasaran tentang meningkatkan daya inovasi berbasis industry kreatif buatan cinderamata dengan memanfatkan limbah kain perca dilingkungan Kelurahan Duren Jaya Kecamatan Bekasi Timur Kota Bekasi Jawa Barat. Permasalahan yang di hadapi para warga Duren Jaya tersebut adalah bagaimana memanfaatkan limbah kain perca tersebut agar tidak mengotori lingkungan mereka. The purpose of this dedication is to design the Mosque Financial Report Application in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK-45) so that the financial report can be held accountable to the people who make a part of their wealth available to the mosque. This is one of the responsibilities given to the community giving infaq. But besides that the mosque management must also make financial reports that will later be reported to the mosque takmir and to all the managers, so that the financial statements can be arranged transparently so that there is no suspicion from any party and moreover as an accountability to Allah SWT. In preparing the accounting reports for non-profit entities, it has been regulated in the Financial Accounting Standards Guidelines (PSAK-45) that have been prepared by the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) as a compiler of accounting reports, so that the financial statements can be accountable to the public and can be read by parties parties with an interest in the financial statements. This activity was carried out in the form of outreach and assistance in making mosque financial reports with the systematic application of financial reports using the Microsoft Excel program. Hand is a part of the body that contains lots of microbes. Handwashing is kind of a clean and healthy lifestyle that is aimed to reduce the number of microbes in the hand. The proper handwashing behavior should be begun to be accustomed since in elementary school, but students’ awareness is relatively low. This is alleged be cause they assumed that their hands look clean. In this community engagement activity on how to wash hands properly, hundred students in national primary school SD Negeri 57 Banda Aceh, Indonesia were involved from March until June 2019 and then ten studen ts were chosen as ambassador of handwashing ( ducuta ). Two selective media agars were used to grow microbes from the hands of the students before and after hand washing. Several programs ( s ecuta , mocuta , bacuta , and kacuta ) were also conducted to measure th e success of this activity. There was an increase in understanding the proper way of handwashing from 78% before socialization to 96% after the socialization. The results based on the handwashing activity book ( bacuta ) showed that 50% of the ducuta have be gun to get used to washing their hands properly before eating, after going to the toilet, and after playing recommended by WHO.

Community service in Rabak Village, Bogor, Indonesia, was done for 30 days, involving 16 students from 7 faculties with an additional 1 lecturer as a supervisor. Activities were conducted from August until September 2017. The approach used the methodology of Hahslm with the ontology of Islam, comprehensiveness in epistemology, and axiology of balancing. This guidance method utilized the straight path theory that combines the three main factors, internal, external, and reflexivities such as academicians, regulators, and ulama. For the planning and implementation, the research had objectives to map community potential, increase people capacity and transfer education. There were problems with local culture and obstacles encountered such as lack of time, sort of consolidating and coordinating with various parties in internal group members and supervisors, external parties such as sponsors, as well as the reflexivity of ulama and religious leaders. From the results of the activities, there were several successes: increasing community participation in development programs in villages, increasing motivation to learners in elementary and junior high school to continue education to higher levels, and to educate public knowledge about Islamic universities, to increase public awareness of the importance of marriage books, and increase physical building or development rehabilitation of water reservoirs, and reading parks.

The sustainability of the river ecosystem is necessary so that water availability can be maintained over time both in quantity and quality. Attention to community behavior is the main target to guarantee the conservation of river water. River pollutants are increasing in quantity due to both domestic and production activities. Community empowerment aspect should always be improved especially in taking care of maintenance and utilization sustainability of the river for human life in particular and ecosystem in general. Tegaltirto Village which is crossed by the Opak River is very important to be preserved especially in proper river management. Community service in the form of institutional development of river school is needed. The scheme is appropriate to educate, assist, and initiate a proper and sustainable community empowerment forum. The research methods in the empowerment of a river school institution are focused on the participatory empowerment aspect. Data collection was done through interviews, documentation, and focus group discussions. The knowledge and skills of the river school institution are transferred through training and an intensive facilitation program. The preparation of the follow-up plan was done through assistance by UGM Team. This was to realize the organizational structure that was responsible for the management and utilization of river resources. The implementation of a river school institution in Tegaltirto Village cannot be separated from the community participation and the observer of river conservation in the spirit of building the village. Conservation and sustainability of water and river utilization become the implementation motivation for the river school activity in Tegaltirto village.

Backgrounds : Computers and gadgets are modern tools for assisting Senior High School students’ work. However, using gadgets more than 2 hours a day may cause computer vision syndrome (CVS), which can interfere with academic activities. CVS main symptom is dry eyes. Objectives: CVS could be prevented by applying the 20-20-20 rule and artificial tears. Results: A total of 100 students from two public high schools in Kediri with 50 students from each school were selected for this community service. All students diagnosed with CVS participated in the dissemination of 20-20-20 rule and artificial tear administration. The pre-test and post-test scores, the Tear Break Up Time Test (TBUT) and the Ocular Disease Surface Index (OSDI) were measured within two weeks. TBUT and OSDI are parameters for measuring dry eye. Likewise, interviews were conducted to assess the adherence to the 20-20-20 rule and artificial tea administration. The results showed the knowledge level increased (p 0.05). Conclusions: Applying the 20-20-20 rule and artificial tears could be used for CVS treatment.

The aim of this program to transfer the technology for making vegetable pesticides that can be used by the community directly by making vegetable pesticides from plants that are easily available to the environment, made and used by the community. The targets of this program are the people of Wonorejo Village, especially RW I, who tend to use high synthetic pesticides in controlling pests (plant pests) in horticultural crops. The expected target after this program is that target partners are able to independently make vegetable pesticides by utilizing local plants around them and applying them directly to their agricultural land with the use of local plants as vegetable pesticides which will be able to reduce agricultural production costs which have an impact on increasing farmers' income. will reduce the use of synthetic pesticides and save the environment, as well as increase the economic value of crops and in the future will increase income for farmers/communities, which in turn can improve the welfare of the community. The methods used to achieve the targets in this program are 1) Counseling/lectures, practice, and coaching. The materials included introducing vegetable pesticides and some plants that can be used as sources of vegetable pesticides and the impact of using synthetic pesticides in the long term and some cases of resistance 2). Direct practice how to manufacture vegetable pesticides and their use. The implementation of activities is carried out in the following stages: preparation (coordination with community leaders and related agencies who assist) implementation includes socialization, training and manufacture of vegetable pesticides, practice of making vegetable pesticides, coaching with direct application assistance activities in the field.
