Spillover of hazardous materials from transport pipelines can lead to catastrophic events with serious and dangerous environmental impact, potential fire events and human fatalities. The problem is more serious for large pipelines when the construction material is under environmental corrosion conditions, as in the petroleum and gas industries. In this way, predictive models can provide a suitable framework for risk evaluation, maintenance policies and substitution procedure design that should be oriented to reduce increased hazards, and also finding and introducing methods which help in inspection and maintenance of oil and gas pipelines seem mandatory. In this project, various failure due to corrosion in oil and gas pipelines are predicted and there are models using finite element method, modeling which helps in inspection and maintenance of oil and gas pipelines. The models released are designed, tested and evaluated with Ansys software. These models investigate different kinds of oil and gas pipeline and do predict the failure of them, failure which can occur because of rupture, fatigue and corrosion.

Camera calibration is favored as an important issue in photogrammetry and computer vision literatures. The importance of this issue can be due to two reasons: firstly, every recently camera should be calibrated before being used to correct its lens distortion and interior orientation elements. In addition, it is a main preprocessing step at many vision applications. This paper aims to provide an overview of concept, objective, methods and mathematical equations for camera calibration.

Inthis paper, four different topologies of Non-Isolated Bidirectional DC-DC converters are compared. Their modes of operations and the design of passive components are presented in detail for all the topologies. The selected topologies are simulated by using MATLAB /Simulink to verify the effectiveness of the converters. The simulation results and comparative studies are used to select the efficient topology. Finally, a 12-V/50-V Prototype model is implemented to verify the feasibility of the converter for the application of Uninterruptible Power Supply

Multistage Interconnection Networks (MINs) play a vivacious position to perform high performance within the discipline of VLSI, broadband communications, parallel and distributed systems designs. The problem of fault tolerance and cost effectiveness are the predominant challenges for calculating the overall performance of MINs. A MIN is better fault tolerant, if it may deal with the extra faults come across in different stages. The fault tolerance of proposed Modified Irregular Augmented Shuffle Exchange Network (MIASEN) [12] is examined in terms of bandwidth, processor utilization, throughput, probability of acceptance, and processing power. The performance and evaluation analysis indicates that the MIASEN is more fault tolerant than the existing Irregular Augmented Shuffle Exchange Network-2 (IASEN-2) and Modified Alpha Network (MALN).

Many companies start to provide various kinds of cloud computing services for internet users at the same time these services also bring several security issues. Currently the greater part of cloud computing systems provides digital identity for users to get access to their services. Presently, most of the cloud computing system use asymmetric and conventional public key cryptography to give mutual authentication data security. Pairing-free identity based cryptography has some pull characteristics that give the impression to fit find the requirements of cloud computing. The proposed protocol accomplishes in three phases such as initialization phase, registration phase and mutual authentication and session key agreement phase. Detailed security analyses have been made to authenticate cloud server and user. Further, the paper has resistance to possible attacks in cloud computing.

The present review article is trying to compile the available information from literature on reduction and management of waste in the hotel industries. As per the available literature, 5 Rs Transition Strategy is good for managing the waste of motels and hotels industries. This paper also covered the various issues like need of waste management, importance of waste management, nonhazardous waste and methods of waste decompose. Now a day, hotels are investigating the requirement of waste reduction and are trying to implement those alternative and new practices which can cut their waste disposal cost, protect and conserve our environment and also increasing loyalty of guests.

It has become a challenging problem now a days to select a liquid crystal material best suited for electro-optical display. Image analysis technique in conjunction with polarizing optical microscope is proposed to determine display device optical parameters for homogeneously aligned functional materials on chiral ester liquid crystals ((S)-(-)-2-methylbutyl4-(4-n-alkanoyloxybenzoyloxy) biphenyl-4-carboxylates (where n = 16 and 18)). The textures are recorded as a function of temperature dependence of optical parameters like Luminance, Luminance uniformity, Luminance contrast ratio, Luminance modulation, Gray Shades, Visual Acuity, and Color Saturation that are computed for these functional materials from the series of images recorded texture using MATLAB software. These parameters are useful for the selection liquid crystal material for choosing best electro-optic display devices. This is a new and simple technique computing different optical parameters of functional materials in specific for ferroelectric liquid crystals, without using various instrumental methods. This method of evaluation of optical parameters for various liquid crystal compounds facilitates to identify the selectivity of specific liquid crystal compound suitability to the best of optical display.
