Based on an understanding and analysis of the complexity of a financial system and the chaotic features of its evolution, we focus upon how chaotic rules impact on financial innovation in the perspective of chaotic economic theory. A chaotic model of the cumulative effect of financial innovation is set up to study the factors affecting the cumulative effect of financial innovation. These include the impetus for innovation within the financial system itself, the pulling force of economic growth, regulation, and the factors that also slow down financial evolution. All of these influences are dictated by chaotic rules. Our approach should provide both deeper understanding and a wider basis for a regulatory authority to apply control in financial innovation.

The change in business needs in terms of new solutions required organizations to move towards re-architecting their IT infrastructure. There are several means of re-architecting; one most efficient mean is to follow the service oriented architecture (SOA). SOA differs from any other architecture in the fact that it: (1) provides a methodology and an IT platform, (2) provides a loosely coupled environment, (3) exposes the applications internally and externally and (4) produces well defined, easy to use and meaningful functionalities. SOA is an architecture that considers the service as the building block of composing applications. There are several known SOA technologies such as: Java RMI, CORBA and DCOM, but the most efficient realization of SOA is Web services. However implementing SOA architecture with Web services requires IT organizations to evaluate their systems architectures and determine how they will deliver Web services. One aspect of this great issue is to deal with legacy applications which are running smoothly and performing critical tasks, but were built without taking the advent of new technologies. These applications, built at high cost over years, have knowledge locked within them and need to be adapted to SOA. This paper first investigates the approaches to wrap legacy applications to expose them as Web services with respect to SOA architecture. Then, it details the approaches and their usages in the two well-known Web service environments: J2EE and .Net. Finally, it compares the approaches with respect to some running legacy applications.

Today most of airline's air tickets are sold through traditional travel agencies using computer reservation systems (CRS) around world. Facing fiercer market pressures bought by factors such as the development of low cost carriers and the globalization of civil aviation industry, airlines found that it is critical for them to lower their costs as much as possible so as to make them more competitive. Thus airlines around world began to develop e-commerce models based on internet which could reduce their reliance upon CRS and traditional travel agencies herewith. This paper introduces and analyzes e-commerce models of leading airlines that are effective in reducing air ticket distribution costs. It is suggested that Chinese airlines should take great initiatives in developing e-commerce strategies so as to reduce their reliance upon CRS vendors and traditional travel agencies, as e-commerce models are helpful approaches to enhance airline's distribution efficiency and cost effectiveness.

An online speciality store is a kind of small retail shop on the Internet that specializes in some merchandise of the same brand or with the similar function. Putting low prices on some special items is a special pricing strategy in online speciality store, which will increase the flow of the Web site and accelerate the sales of other products. The phenomenon that there is positive sale association among different items is called as size effect in this paper. A multi-objective model was built and a particle swarm optimization algorithm was proposed to solve this holistic pricing problem. Maximum of the gross profits and sales was the objective of the model. Simulation results reveal that the model can help online speciality store get more gross profits and more sales.

Conventional wisdom believes that perceived performance has positive effect on consumer satisfaction. However, it is not clear that whether the effect is consistent or moderated by some factors -an issue of much importance but largely neglected. The authors fill the void by examining the moderating effects of price, price consciousness and conspicuous consumption on the relationship between perceived performance and consumer satisfaction. Results show that price and price consciousness moderate the relationship between perceived service quality and consumer satisfaction, while conspicuous consumption moderate the relationship between perceived product quality and consumer satisfaction.

Considering the errors of communication between producer and consumer during customization, this paper studies how to decision when information goods producer provides both standard and customized goods, and how to avoid the uncertainty originated from communication errors. In three kind competence circumstances, this study compares with the optimal conventional good prices, optimal customization ranges and optimal marginal earnest. The results show that under the market incompletely covered condition, the producer can increase his profits by adopting customization. Despite the uncertainty of customization goods' quality, producer can collect earnests to evade such risk and facing with different uncertainty the producer should adopt different competence strategy.

In recent years, logistics industry in China has been developed rapidly and become one of the backbone industries for national economy. The prosperity of logistics industry brings opportunity for financial market, and thus accelerating the development of logistics finance. Logistics finance not only is a necessity for national economy development, but also forms a huge market demand. Logistics, as its nature, is a value-added physical movement of commodity. In the process of logistics, there must exist flows of capital, information and they cannot be divided. Therefore, development of modern logistics needs substantial support from financial market, while on the other hand innovation of financial industry depends on the continuous development of logistics industry. Logistics industry collaborates with financial industry and forms a new cross-function and mutually affected business. Collaborative development of logistics with finance will be a win-win choice for both industries.

Information plays a very important role in supply chain management. Through effective information management, the operational efficiency and competitiveness of supply chain can be improved. Classifying information reasonably can improve information management, maximize the role of information, and reduce the difficulty and cost of information management. This article, on the basis of the in-depth analysis of the major factors influencing information value and information sensitivity, has built a V-S Axis Information Classification Model based on information value and information sensitivity. This model includes the value engineering model for evaluating information value and the grey clustering model for evaluating information sensitivity. It can perform quantitative analysis to supply chain information. In addition, the article has also provided examples of algorism for the above-mentioned models.

This paper analyzes the background of transformation in the telecommunication companies. From the characteristics of telecommunication services, this paper makes the evaluation method of the quality of telecommunication services based on customer experience. Evaluation method designs genes of the quality of telecommunication services and the factors contained in various genes. Through the surveys of importance and satisfaction of various factors, this paper evaluates quality factors and the overall service quality. Then it analyzes service quality factors of different kinds and makes standardized matrix analysis. Finally, this paper makes a demonstration analysis to evaluation method with a real case.

The efficiency of mining association rules is an important field of Knowledge Discovery in Databases. The Apriori algorithm is a classical algorithm in mining association rules. This paper presents an improved Apriori algorithm to increase the efficiency of generating association rules. This algorithm adopts a new method to reduce the redundant generation of sub-itemsets during pruning the candidate itemsets, which can form directly the set of frequent itemsets and eliminate candidates having a subset that is not frequent in the meantime. This algorithm can raise the probability of obtaining information in scanning database and reduce the potential scale of itemsets.
