Technological Empowerment: A Study on New Media’s Impact on Participatory Culture in China’s Higher Education System 技术赋能:新媒体对中国高等教育参与式文化的影响研究

New media technology advances the innovation of higher education systems in China. In the wake of new media, learning environments have become more relaxing and accessible than before. This benefits leaners who want to obtain higher and more in-depth learning. Learners may have fragmented learning opportunities and create fragmented content during their spare time. Online education systems provide a platform for participatory learning and offer online users opportunities to achieve co-creation.

Research on Problems and Countermeasures of English Education Activities in Kindergartens --A case of kindergarten A in Dazu District of Chongqing 幼儿园英语教育活动存在的问题及对策研究——以重庆市大足区A幼儿园为例

In the context of globalization development, China has carried out more and more economic, political, and cultural exchanges with other countries. Firstly, as a bridge for global exchange and communication, English is the most frequently used language. Therefore, China pays more and more attention to English education. Secondly, the critical period of language development and second language acquisition provide a theoretical basis for preschool children to learn a second foreign language. To sum up, English education for preschool children is the product of the times of current educational development. Therefore, the research on kindergarten English education has very important practical significance. This paper focuses on the survey of the implementation status of the children’s English education activities in the kindergarten A in Dazu District, Chongqing (research object) around the problems and countermeasures of kindergarten English education activities. In-depth research has been conducted by the questionnaire survey method, interviewing method and observational method, combined with four major aspects including the target recognition of educators and parents on the implementation of English education activities in kindergartens, content selection, content selection, English teacher professionalism and educational activity evaluation system. It proposes feasible solutions to some problems in the kindergarten English education activities.

Application Research of Problem-Oriented Teaching Mode in “Construction and Maintenance” Course 问题导向教学模式在《建筑与维修》课程中的应用研究

The course of “construction and maintenance” of a radar equipment is rich in content and knowledge, while the traditional teaching method based on teachers seriously restricts the teaching effect. In view of this, the problem-oriented teaching mode is introduced into the course teaching of “construction and maintenance” course of certain radar equipment, and it provides the concrete implementing method. Finally, this paper indicating the aspect of needing to work hard in order to further improve the problem-oriented teaching effect: teaching reflection and online course. The introduction of problem-oriented teaching mode stimulates the students’ learning interest and improves the learning effect.
某雷达设备“施工与维修”课程内容丰富,知识丰富,传统的以教师为主的教学方式严重制约了教学效果。鉴于此,将问题导向教学模式引入到某雷达设备“构造与维护”课程教学中,并给出了具体的实施方法。最后,本文指出了进一步提高问题导向教学效果需要努力的方面:教学反思和网络课程。问题导向教学模式的引入,激发了学生的学习兴趣,提高了学习效果。

Artificial Intelligence enabled classroom teaching is the core driving force of classroom reform in the era of information 2.0. In this process, how to understand the conflict between Artificial Intelligence and teacher’s role and position the teacher’s role in the new technology environment is an important basis for leading the deep integration of Artificial Intelligence and education and teaching. In this context, “man-machine collaboration” will be an important trend of future education. Artificial intelligence technology, with its application in the field of education of intelligent platform, intelligent tools, and intelligent services, has brought challenges and dilemmas to teachers’ professional roles. As an assistant teacher and analyst in classroom teaching, artificial intelligence has greatly contributed to the high efficiency, accuracy, and diversity of teaching. Teachers should be the designers, decision makers and educators of classroom teaching, so as to promote the all-round development of students and make them the talents needed by the contemporary society.

During the period of COVID-19 epidemic situation, in order to ensure that students can study normally, the Ministry of Education has issued measures to “suspend classes without stopping learning”. Therefore, the traditional forms can’t meet the needs of learners, more and more people like online education. The existing online learning platforms cannot perfectly meet the learning needs of students, so the students need an online learning system that can meet their individual needs and improve learning efficiency. This article introduces an intelligent learning companion system, the system based on the advantages of WeChat Mini Programs can help learners achieve online learning and meet personalized needs.

Based on the SPOC's flipped classroom mixed teaching concept, the SPOC and OJ platforms are introduced into the C Language Programming classroom teaching to enable students to change from passive learning to active knowledge seekers. SPOC is combined with the traditional teaching mode so as to achieve the teaching effect of improving the code writing ability and logical thinking ability in the teaching process.

The course “Introduction to Tourism” at Beijing City University is an interactive course that relies on the UMOOC online teaching platform developed by Tsinghua University. This study obtained feedback from students and conducted t-tests to identify the significance of difference between a class had gone through the hybrid teaching mode reform and one that had not so as to explore the effect of the hybrid teaching mode in higher education.

The Research of Teaching Quality Evaluation Model Based on the Principal Component Analysis and Learning Vector Quantization 基于主成分分析和学习向量量化的教学质量评价模型研究

To further improve the accuracy of teaching quality evaluation, a teaching quality evaluation model based on the combination of principal component analysis (PCA) and learning vector quantization (LVQ) is proposed. The teaching quality evaluation system is established using analytic hierarchy process (AHP), and then the characteristic information of the initial evaluation index system is extracted using principal component analysis. The characteristic information after dimensionality reduction is input to the LVQ neural network, and the network model is trained and tested for generalization ability. The experimental results show that the PCA-LVQ network model is simpler in structure, stronger in learning ability, faster in convergence speed, higher in evaluation accuracy and generalization ability than the single LVQ and BP neural network.

Industrial design is a highly comprehensive and cross-cutting subject of knowledge, which integrates the knowledge of aesthetics, mechanics and psychology. In order to make the professional teaching of industrial design develop towards digitalization, network and specialization, it is required that the professional teaching of industrial design should be combined with information technology in the course of practice, that is, the teaching means of information technology should be introduced into the teaching of industrial design. Therefore, this paper will study the application of information technology in the teaching of industrial design, based on the teaching situation, explore the development trend of information technology in the teaching of industrial design, and then put forward practical strategies, aiming to realize the continuous improvement and development of the quality of teaching of industrial design professional through information teaching means.

In order to make the professional teaching of industrial design develop towards digitalization, network and specialization, it is required that the professional teaching of industrial design should be combined with information technology in the course of practice, that is, the teaching means of information technology should be introduced into the teaching of industrial design. Organization of Online Chinese Teaching Activities in Township Primary Schools During the Epidemic: A Case Study Based on Activity Theory 疫情期间乡镇小学网络语文教学活动的组织——基于活动理论的个案研究

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic in early 2020, many primary and secondary schools in China have started online teaching. This study takes a class of grade 4 in a primary school in X Town, Hubei Province as a case study, using the method of non-participatory observation and online interview, combining activity theory to explore the organization of the Chinese online teaching activities. We find three characteristics in it: teacher-centered activities, teaching social reconstruction based on WeChat and Dingding software and enhancement of interaction between parents and students. We also link these three aspects with activity theory to show the current situation of online teaching in township primary schools during the epidemic, in hope to explore the existing problems and reflect on the improvement measures of online teaching.
受2020年初新冠肺炎疫情影响,全国多所中小学开展了网络教学。本研究以湖北省X镇某小学四年级某班为例,采用非参与式观察法和在线访谈法,结合活动理论对语文在线教学活动的组织进行探讨。我们发现它有三个特点:以教师为中心的活动,基于b微信和钉钉软件的教学社会重建,家长与学生之间的互动增强。并将这三个方面与活动理论联系起来,展示疫情期间乡镇小学网络教学的现状,希望能够探讨存在的问题,反思网络教学的改进措施。
