AN OVERVIEW OF EDUCATIONAL DATA MINING 教育数据挖掘概述

Higher education data is growing, but the exploitation and extraction of meaningful knowledge for management have not been paid much attention. The existing mining tools are not effective. This study aims to introduce three techniques for educational data mining: (1) Classification techniques, (2) Predictive models, (3) Clustering techniques. Simultaneously, the study also proposes some solutions to analyze and visualize data, predict students’ learning capacity and assemble  learners. Thereby, education managers could choose appropriate data mining solutions for effective management and training.
高等教育数据不断增长,但对有意义的管理知识的开发和提取却没有受到重视。现有的挖掘工具并不有效。本研究旨在介绍三种教育数据挖掘技术:(1)分类技术,(2)预测模型,(3)聚类技术。同时,本研究还提出了数据分析和可视化、学生学习能力预测和学习者集合的解决方案。因此,教育管理者可以选择合适的数据挖掘解决方案进行有效的管理和培训。

This article introduces the method of designing, manufacturing, controlling and monitoring a concrete mixing plant model using Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) - Mitsubishi. The evaluation results show that the model operates stably and easily to replace components. HMI control screen makes it easy for operators to manipulate and change quantities. Successfully manufactured model serves the needs of learning, researching and PLC programming
本文介绍了用三菱可编程控制器(PLC)设计、制造、控制和监控混凝土搅拌站模型的方法。评价结果表明,该模型运行稳定,部件更换方便。HMI控制屏幕使操作人员易于操作和更改数量。成功制作的模型满足了学习、研究和PLC编程的需要

SOLUTION OF ADDITIONAL CHARGING TO ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLES 电动摩托车额外充电的解决方案

Currently, the gradual scarcity of traditional fuels, the rise of fuel prices and the environmental pollution are social issues of concern. The study is implemented to investigate the efficiency of using solar panel and braking system as recharging sources to a commercially electric motorcycle. The simultaneous combination of the two additionally recharging approaches will help the electric motorcycle to have a longer working distance as compared to original one. The result contributes to exploiting electric motorcycle effectively. In addition, the success of this work will partly contribute to energy saving and reduction of environmental  pollution in transportation system.
目前,传统燃料的逐渐稀缺、燃料价格的上涨和环境污染是社会关注的问题。研究了太阳能电池板和制动系统作为商用电动摩托车充电源的效率。两种额外充电方式的同时结合,将使电动摩托车的工作距离比原来更长。研究结果有助于有效开发电动摩托车。此外,这项工作的成功将在一定程度上有助于节省能源和减少运输系统的环境污染。

DESIGN OF AUTOMATIC HIGHT-LOW BEAM CONTROL SYSTEM ON AUTOMOBILE 汽车高低光束自动控制系统的设计

Car lighting system is a necessary means that helps drivers to observe in limited visibility conditions, the lighting system is also used to inform the movement situation so that people around can recognize in the night. In addition, the system also has the function of displaying  the automobile operating parameters to the driver through the tableau panel and illuminating the space in the automobile. In cars, in order for the lighting system to work, the driver must turn on the light switch and make a continuous transition between hight beam and low beam when the car is operating in the city or when there is a vehicle moving in the opposite direction. To reduce unnecessary operations when controlling the lighting system, it is necessary to have a design which installed automatic hight-low beam control system. The paper presents the design, calculation and installation of electrical circuits that control the automatic hight-low beam transition on automobile by LabVIEW software and applies this experiment on a real model.

DATA VISUALIZATION FOR PIG HERDS IN TRA VINH PROVINCE BASED ON GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM (GIS) 基于地理信息系统(gis)的越越省猪群数据可视化

Building a system of data visualization of pig herds in Tra Vinh province based on GIS (Geographic Information System) will help management agencies update, do statistical analysis of and forecast the fluctuation in pig herds within the provincial area. Since then, pig farmers will have reliable information, which canmake their investment more efficient. The system is built on the WebGIS platform combining solutions for processing map data with PostGIS - an extension of PostgreSQL database management system to manage GIS objects. Additionally, the system will also provide solutions to handle and share pig herd data on the map with Geoserver - an open source server with the aim of connecting geographic information from PostGIS to Geoweb.

AN APPROACH TO EXPLORING EDUCATIONAL DATA 一种探索教育数据的方法

The article presents solutions to support students in planning their learning. The existing educational data sources are derived from student information  management system (learning results, training programs, schedules) used as a basic for exploring, analyzing and proposing suitable suggestions for each student (list of subjects that need to improve, relearning schedules, list of students who want to improve their learning results in the same subjects). The research results are a system that supports students searching their learning results as well  as suggesting them the direction of improving subject scores. The system is to reach 100% accuracy in accordance with the training data of the Information Technology students, courses 2015 and 2017 at Tra Vinh University.
本文提出了支持学生规划学习的解决方案。现有的教育数据源来源于学生信息管理系统(学习成果、培训计划、课程表),作为对每个学生(需要改进的科目列表、再学习计划、想要提高同一科目学习成绩的学生列表)进行探索、分析和提出合适建议的基础。研究结果是一个支持学生查询学习成绩,并建议他们提高学科成绩方向的系统。该系统将达到100%的准确性,符合特拉荣大学2015年和2017年信息技术专业学生的培训数据。

This report aims to introduce a solution for saving fuel and reducing environmental pollution on motorcycles in order to increase the operational capacity of a very popular means of transport in Vietnam today. In this solution, we use an electric motorbike which is combined with a heat engine to meet the requirements of increasing vehicle performance. The article presents the methods to design, to install the parts of the system and the heat engine on electric motorbike as well as experiment and evaluate the effectiveness of the solution

CONTROLLING AND SUPERVISING THE MIXING SYSTEM USING PLC S7-1200 AND WEBSERVER 利用PLC s7-1200和web服务器对混合系统进行控制和监控

Today, raw material mixing systems are very popular in factories and manufacturing enterprises: cement, food processing, fertilizer,. . .The system of raw material mixers, in meeting that demand, must ensure the quality of the products. The objective of this article is to program the raw material mixing station using the S7-1200 PLC in combination with the control and supervising of the mixing and filling system by Webserver. The system performs the work of dividing the rate for each batch of mixing, material supplying, material mixing and extracting finished products. In addition, the author has rebuilt the plant model with a compact scale that suitable for the teaching or professional research purpose. The process of system programming is written on the TIA Portal V13 software ofSiemens agency and is operated on the HMI control screen as well as directly monitored on the Webserver. The results show that the stable running model produces good product, the system is operated and monitored accurately via webserver application designed by the author.

DESIGN AND CONTROL OF SPIDER ROBOT MODEL 蜘蛛机器人模型的设计与控制

Robots imitating spider’s moving have many advantages such as flexible movement, high stability, diversity in movements performed, especially in terrain  crossing, in military reconnaissance, in surveying and collecting environmental data in dangerous areas,.... In this article  with the main objective is to exploit multiple control methods to support applications of a spider robot with low-cost, a spider robot with 6 legs and 18 joints was designed. The ESPWROOM-32 module (ESP32-D0WDQ6 chip) and MIT App Inventor were used as the main tools for conducting this research. As a result, the robot is controlled via Bluetooth and Wifi to move, making some actions by self-written software running on the Android operating system. In addition, the robot has the capacity of self-propelled to avoid simple obstacles and send some environmental parameters to the software, including obstacles distance, humidity and temperature.

In this article  with the main objective is to exploit multiple control methods to support applications of a spider robot with low-cost, a spider robot with 6 legs and 18 joints was designed. The ESPWROOM-32 module (ESP32-D0WDQ6 chip) and MIT App Inventor were used as the main tools for conducting this research. As a result, the robot is controlled via Bluetooth and Wifi to move, making some actions by self-written software running on the Android operating system. MULTI-FEATURE MODEL FOR DUPLICATE BUG REPORTS DETECTION SOLUTION 针对重复bug报告的多特征模型检测解决方案

For open source software such as Firefox, Eclipse, Subversion,. . . they usually have a system for bug management that sent by users. These bug reports help the system identify various software bugs which makes software maintenance better. However, a situation occurs that there are many error reports sent to  the processing repository that these bug reports were previously reported by different users, this is called duplicate bug reports. In this paper, we introduce a multi-feature model combined with weighted improvements from CFC (ClassFeature-Centroid) to detect duplicate bug reportsautomatically. We have experimented on three projects of Mozilla, Eclipse and OpenOffice. The results show that our method can improve 8-12% better as compared to the compared methods.
