The background of this research is the need to create a new learning model in sports and health education that is more effective. This study aims to produce a learning model in the form of goal football games engaged in physical education, sports and health. The method used is development research from Borg and Gall that has been modified, namely (1) conducting preliminary research, (2) developing the initial product form, (3) evaluating experts using one physical education expert and one learning expert, and testing small group, (4) first product revision, (5) field test, (6) final product revision, (7) final result of modification of football model produced through revision of field test. Data from research results in the form of product quality, suggestions for product improvement, and results of filling out questionnaires by students. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires obtained from expert evaluations, small group trials (12 students), and field tests (32 students). The data analysis technique used is descriptive in the form of a percentage to reveal the psychomotor, cognitive, and affective aspects of students after using the product. From the results of the trial obtained expert evaluation data, namely from the two experts stated that the learning model of the moving-goal game was in the category of good assessment. In the small group trial the results were 81% (good), and in the field trials 89% (good). From the results obtained, it can be concluded that the model of this moving-goal football game can be used for junior high school students. Based on the results of this study, teachers of physical education in sports and junior high school health are encouraged to use the product model of moving-goal football so that learning becomes more effective. Character education has been carried out in elementary schools, both public and private. But in reality there are still many students who have less commendable characters. This condition is suspected to be less successful character education. There are a number of determinants of the success of character education. This study aims to analyze the determinants of successful management of character education and its implementation in the face of the 4.0 industry era in the elementary school of Bengkulu province. This research uses descriptive evaluative method. The study was conducted in primary schools in the province of Bengkulu. Data collection techniques with checklists, observations, documentation studies, and interviews. Data is analyzed inductively with "flow analysis". The results showed that character education in primary schools was managed less effectively and less in accordance with national education standards. There are a number of factors that determine the unsuccessful management of character education, including inappropriate education policies, lack of implementation in accordance with national education standards, implementing in schools lacking understanding of the essence of character education, lack of parental support, lack of strict supervision systems, and sustainability disconnected character education. This condition weakens the character for future generations to realize the industrial era 4.0. Keywords—character educational management; industrial

—This research is to find out the description of the use of learning methods, learning media, learning resources and also look at the correlation between learning methods, learning media, and learning resources towards the achievement of junior high school graduates' competency standards in the city of Bengkulu. The target schools of this study were 42 junior high schools. Respondents for each school are: 1 headmaster, 8 subject teachers, 15 students, 2 committees, at least 2 parents, and 1 supervisor. The instruments used are existing instruments from the directorate of primary and secondary education. The results of this study are that in general the SMP in Bengkulu City is very good at using learning methods, learning media, and learning resources that vary according to the learning material. From the results of the correlation obtained the value of r = 0.4. This means that there is a relationship with the medium criteria between variations in learning methods, learning media, and learning resources with learning outcomes. This shows that the better and varied learning methods, learning media, and learning resources are applied, the better the achievement of graduate competency standards even though the effect is not so great.

The purpose of this study was to find out and obtain empirical data about the profile of teacher’s candidates regarding gender, teaching experience, teaching attitudes, social competencies, personality competencies, and teaching interests. The method used in this study is the descriptive method with a sample of as many as 314 students from 15 higher education providers of education programs in the Special Capital Region of Jakarta. The sampling technique used was disproportionate random sampling, then the data were analyzed using the assisted Rasch Model Winstep version 3.73. The result of this study showed that 1) most women have low teaching interest (43.0%), 2) most prospective teachers have teaching experience around 0-5 months (35%), 3) most prospective students have low teaching attitudes (57%), 4) the social competencies possessed by prospective teachers are low (53%), 5) personality competencies possessed by prospective teachers are low (53%), and 6) teaching interest possessed by prospective teachers is low (55%). It showed that when someone wants to be a teacher it will impact three characteristics, which are teaching attitude, social competence, and personality competence. Consequently, all of the variable (teaching attitude, social competence, and personality competence) which are measured in this research are low, as the effect of low teaching interest. —Pre-service teacher education plays an imperative role in constructing the knowledge base of EFL teachers. The objectives of the study are to draw an initial classification of the elements of teachers’ knowledge base based on the types of knowledge and the kind of resources that the pre-service teachers have obtained to develop it and why such sources were employed. The data were collected through interviews addressed to five pre service teachers who were in the beginning of their fourth year of the study. The interviews reveal that they recognize pedagogical knowledge in designing lesson but they do not acknowledge the other knowledge domains. In addition, the teachers employed pedagogical courses, their personal experience, and internet as the resource to obtain their knowledge because these resources provide practical benefits for the teaching. Considering the partial representation of EFL teacher knowledge base and the unclear contribution of the teacher education courses in developing the knowledge base, it is suggested that different types of knowledge and skills are designed to provide the benefits for the pre-service teachers and emerge as influential resource for developing the teacher knowledge base.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Nominal Weight Mean Equating and Linear methods on equating using a small sample as a tool for teachers to equate students' scores in the class. This research is included in comparative research comparing two equating methods. The number of samples each replication in this research is 30. The data in the study used the UN results for mathematics subjects in 2015 DKI Jakarta area with the number of anchor items 20% of the total items (30 items). From this data, replication is 50 times for each sample. By spreading the average RMSE for each sample according to replication, the small average RMSE value shows a stable measurement result. Among these methods of securing the class, the most stable is NWME. Thus, as a suggestion for teachers to use the NWME method to equalize scores to avoid students in different classes. Thus, discrimination against students can be prevented especially in determining the completeness of learning or graduation. Keywords—equating; small sample; RMSE; nominal weight mean; linear

This study aims at describing the efforts to improve teacher performance. The method used in this research is a quantitative, descriptive and verification approach. The type of investigation is kausalitas and Path Analysis techniques with the help of SPSS. The component that becomes a benchmark is the improvement in teacher competency and teacher performance assessment. These two things are called teacher performance inherent in the teacher's functional position in carrying out the main tasks, functions and responsibilities. Early Competency Test is the initial forum for involvement in teacher performance management. Teacher performance management can be seen from Early Competency as a national recognition database, teacher performance appraisal institutions such as Institution of Education Quality Assurance, Universities collaboration on achieving the improvement of teacher performance. The results of this study discuss two programs that influence the organizational culture as an effort to improve the performance of Madrasah Aliyah (Religious Senior High School) teachers in Bengkulu province. The results show that the Madrasah organizational culture has a positive and direct significant effect on teacher performance. Therefore, it can be suggested that if we want to improve teacher performance, we have to improve the work culture organization. Keywords—organizational culture; teacher performance
