Objective: to evaluate the features of central and intracardiac hemodynamics in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), who underwent COVID-19 during inpatient stay and 6 months after the development of STEMI. Materials and methods. 140 patients with STEMI were included in the study. The patients were randomized into 2 groups: I - main group - patients with STEMI who suffered COVID-19 (52 people) in the period from 1.5-6 months before the development of acute coronary syndrome (ACS), II - comparison group (88 people) which included patients with STEMI who did not have COVID-19 in the anamnesis. All patients underwent PCI with stenting of the infarct-related artery in the first 24 hours from the onset of ACS. The parameters of central and intracardiac hemodynamics in all patients were determined for 2-3 days (1st control point), 9-11 days (2nd control point), after 6 months (3rd control point) from the moment of hospitalization for STEMI. Results. In the patients of the main group of the study, more pronounced changes in the systolic-diastolic LV function were recorded on the 2-3 day of STEMI: LV EF by 8.5%, Sm by 7.2% and E' by 24.5% (p<0.05) were lower than in the control group, respectively, E/E' by 11.5% and WMSI by 21.8% (p<0.05) were higher than in the comparison group. On the 9th-11th day of the disease in patients with STEMI who underwent COVID-19, a slowdown in the recovery of the studied parameters was revealed: the LV EF value was lower than in the control group by 11%, Sm by 12% and E' by 20% (p<0.05), respectively, and the value of E/E' by 27% and WMSI by 25% (p<0.05) were higher than in the comparison group. 6 months after STEMI, there were no significant differences in Sm, E', E/E' values in the main and control groups, however, a lower LVEF and WMSI value was noted in comparison with the control group (p<0.05). Conclusion. Unidirectional positive dynamics of systolic-diastolic function parameters in hospital and post-hospital follow-up periods was observed in patients with STEMI, both those who had COVID-19 and without COVID-19 in the anamnesis. However, in patients who underwent COVID-19, there were more pronounced violations of LV systolic-diastolic function on 2-3 days and less pronounced, delayed positive dynamics of these parameters during the hospital and post-hospital treatment periods.

Objective: to develop a method for verifying ceftriaxone and determining its concentration in blood serum by means of capillary electrophoresis. Materials and methods. The study used ceftriaxone sodium salt (CJSC Pharmaceutical Company "Lekko"), model mixtures of biological fluids (whole blood, serum and blood plasma) with different concentrations of ceftriaxone; clinical biological blood samples taken during breast surgery against the background of perioperative antibiotic prophylaxis. The concentration of ceftriaxone was determined by using a Capel-105M capillary electrophoresis system (CJSC Lumex, St. Petersburg, Russia). Results. An express method has been developed for the determination of ceftriaxone in blood serum (sample volume - 0.1 ml), which involves the use of a precipitant of protein substances - crystalline ammonium sulfate, extraction of the organic system chloroform - isobutanol in a ratio of 3: 1, re-extraction of the substance into a working electrolyte diluted with water, and subsequent electrophoresis on the device "Capel-105M". Method validation indicates its linearity, correctness, precision and specificity; the lower limit of quantitation is 0.1 µg/0.1 ml biological medium. The effectiveness of the technique was confirmed in a clinical trial by determining the concentration of ceftriaxone in the blood serum 30 minutes after intravenous administration of 1 g of the drug for the purpose of perioperative antibiotic prophylaxis. Conclusion. The method for the quantitative determination of ceftriaxone in blood serum, performed by using a capillary electrophoresis system (“Kapel-105M”), meets the established validation criteria. At the same time, the identification of the antibiotic is carried out under selective conditions and requires a minimum amount of the object, thereby reducing the amount of co-extractive substances in the samples, which, in combination with the method of stacking during electrophoresis, provides a high sensitivity of the technique. It can be recommended for analysis in clinical diagnostic laboratories.

Objective: to carry out a comparative analysis of the area of the corpus callosum in men and women in adolescence, old age, and old age according to magnetic resonance imaging data. Material and methods. The results of magnetic resonance imaging studies of the brain of 138 patients (72 men and 66 women) were analyzed. The entire study material was divided into three groups. The first group included 44 adolescents (21 men and 23 women aged 16-21 years); the second group included 50 elderly people (27 men and 23 women aged 56-74 years); the third group included 44 seniors (24 men and 20 women aged 75-88 years). We determined the area of the corpus callosum in the sagittal projection along the midline. Results. The analysis of the results of the study revealed a tendency for the prevalence of cerebellar area parameters in boys and girls in comparison to the elderly and senile age representatives (p>0.05). There was a tendency for prevalence of cerebral body area parameters in elderly subjects over elderly ones (p>0.05). In all age groups there was a tendency for superiority of cerebral body area parameters in men compared to women (p>0.05). Conclusion. The obtained results of the in vivo comparative analysis of the area of the corpus callosum in humans in adolescence, old age and senile age extend the scientific knowledge of its age-specific features. Thus, these data can serve as a benchmark of age-related anatomical norm in various instrumental examinations, such as magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography, and provide a foundation for further clinical research.

Morphology of cerebrospinal fluid flow structures in CNS is an important and complex area of research and is associated with the problems of metabolites transport, including pathological ones in neurodegenerative pathology, e.g., Alzheimer's disease. Since Virchow and Robin first described the perivascular spaces in the 19th century, their role in the transport of cerebrospinal fluid and intracerebral metabolites has been established. On the grounds of the 20th century studies, a modern theory of intracerebral liquor transport of metabolites, the glymphatic system theory, has emerged, creating the basis for new areas of treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. The article presents an overview of the history of description and study of CNS perivascular transport pathways, terminology issues and clinical problems such as amyloid transport and its disruption as a mechanism of Alzheimer's disease and glaucoma. We present our own descriptive data on the morphology of the perivascular spaces (PVS) of the rat brain in normal and simulated glaucoma-like increases in intraocular pressure. Structures corresponding to perivascular spaces (PVS) in their original description are present in the rat brain along arteries and arterioles. They are represented by intervals between the medium and adventitia, in the adventitia, and between the adventitia and the inner pial fibrous layers. At the level of capillaries they are closed. In the venous link there are only paravenular spaces between the vascular wall and glial boundary membrane. Periarterial-like leptomeningeal structures and spaces are absent. In glaucoma-like experimental increase in intraocular pressure, the periarterial spaces respond with expansion, and in addition to them, intermyocyte spaces are formed in the medium On the basis of glymphatic theory we propose the possibility of regulation of intracerebral metabolic transport and hydrodynamic system”eye - optic nerve -brain” via vascular mechanisms of perivascular transport.

Chromatographic analysis was carried out on a Zorbax SB-C18 reverse-phase column (4.6×250 mm, 5 μm) in a gradient elution mode of the mobile phase consisting of acetonitrile and highly purified water, adjusted to pH 2 with phosphoric acid. Results. As a result of the study, the optimal conditions for the chromatographic separation of anthraglycosides of alder buckthorn bark were determined. The optimal conditions for their extraction have been established: the grinding of plant raw materials is 250 µm, the extractant is ethyl alcohol 40%, the extraction temperature is 80℃, the extraction time is 90 minutes, the ratio of raw materials and extractant is 1:50. It has been proved that the developed method for the quantitative determination of anthraglycos","PeriodicalId":24060,"journal":{"name":"Курский научно-практический вестник «Человек и его здоровье»","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83035912","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
