The last 5 years of badminton in Central Java are experiencing a decline in achievement; this can be seen in the results of PON XVI only getting 1 gold medal. The development of athletes starts from the clubs under the auspices of Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) and is very large in improving athletes' achievements. The purpose of this study was to identify the training patterns at the badminton club. The method used in this study was the survey method with ex post facto research design, the research sample was badminton club in 4 districts / cities (Semarang, Kudus, Batang, Pemalang) in Central Java Province. The instrument used was an observation guide and a questionnaire used to measure badminton training patterns. The results showed that in Semarang district had deficiencies in the PBSI management of coaching clubs so that many programs had not been implemented well, in Pemalang district in the unfavorable category, inactivity in managing organizations, in Batang District was not much different from the previous district, PBSI is not yet in line with PBSI's operational foundation, in contrast to Kudus Regency which has worked in accordance with the PBSI task force, this is due to the collaboration between PBSI and the private sector. The conclusion is that PBSI from three districts shows that the performance of the organization is still below the standards of the same organization except PBSI Kudus Regency. This study aims at investigating the martial arts athletes’ influential factors that correspond with their professional performance when competing in the various matches. 320 martial arts athletes who are officially joined in the Indonesian National Sports Committee (Komite Olahraga Nasional Indonesia) Registry of Central Java Province, Indonesia supervision participated to be the respondents. Data were collected from the self-rated questionnaire of the martial arts athletes’ personal experience using a 5-Likert scale. Meanwhile, data analysis statistically applied for the descriptive and factor analysis tests. This quantitative method was used to measure the martial arts athletes’ influential factors that accommodated the variables of self-confidence, anxiety, motivation and concentration. The findings showed that the principal component analyses determined the presence of 4 variables with the Eigenvalue outreaching 1, positioning 36.8%, 22.4%, 21.7%, and 18.9%of the variances accordingly. This guided the factorial analysis that claimed 2 extracted components with a total of 59.27% of the variance. The component 1 was 36.84% and component 2 was 22.42%. The interpretation of these components is suitable with the pilot outputs undertaken from the martial arts athletes’ influential factors scale, in which the component 1 shows the positive affect items and the component 2 partially indicates the negative affect items.

— The global epidemiological transition has caused increase in the prevalence of non-communicable diseases (NCD). It is necessary to increase community sports participation to prevent NCD. There is no instrument that can be used to measure these indicators yet. The purpose of this study is to develop an instrument for the assessment of sports participation index (SPI). The development research design was used to produce an SPI measurement instrument model. This research was carried out until the model development stage. Preliminary study was done by literature review them followed by a focus group discussion (FGD), and validation assessment by experts in the field of public health and sports. Research has produced valid SPI measurement instrument models. The instrument contains 4 main dimensions, 1) Individual participation, 2) Infrastructure 3) Socio-cultural, 4) Institutional. Of the 4 dimensions are broken down into 17 parameters. The SPI score is obtained by formulation = {¼ (Individual Participation Dimension Index) + ¼ (Infrastructure Dimension Index) + ¼ (Socio Cultural Dimension Index) + ¼ (Institutional Dimension Index)}. Validity test with Aiken's V coefficient shows each item is declared valid (coefficient ≥ 0.92). It is recommended to local governments to integrate SPI parameters into health program performance indicators in their respective regions.

It can be suggested that it is necessary to make a grand design of elite sports devlopment program with its implementation","PeriodicalId":247372,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Physical Education, Sport, and Health (ACPES 2019)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130976090","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Physical fitness is a very fundamental need for all people, includes students with special needs. With good physical fitness, it will make students easier to carry out activities optimally. Physical education curriculum of normal students compared to students with special needs is essentially same, but there is main distinction in the evaluation process because it is viewed from different characteristics and physical needs. Speech Impaired students are kind of students with special needs who have obstacle in speaking or communication ability with others so that their perseptional in receiving information is constrained. However, compared to other extraordinary students, Speech Impaired students’s movement develop faster. The parameters test of physical fitness to Speech Impaired students (TKJIT-03) was designed to evaluate the physical fitness for Speech Impaired students of 13-15 years old by making parameters according to the needs, abnormalities and characteristics of the students. The items used in TKJIT-03 include (1) sprint 50 m, (2) pull up, (3) sit up, (4) vertical jump, and (5) 1000-meter run for male and 800-meter run for female. Keywords—Parameters, tests & measurements, physical fitness.
