Investigated Information Data of CNC Machine Tool for Established Productivity of Industry 4.0 为建立工业4.0的生产力,调查数控机床的信息数据

The information data of CNC machine tool based on the controller tuning operation are investigated for established productivity of industry 4.0. Industry 4.0 is a smart productivity based on industrial internet of things, big data, and cyber physical systems in manufacturing industries. For productivity of industry 4.0 establishing, the position control gains Kp, position feedforward control gains Kf, and speed control gains Kv, in CNC machine tool are major tuning parameters. The different KP gains of 10, 50, 100, 300, and 400 rad/s are investigated for a smart productivity in position control mode. The system responses of CNC machine tool at different position feedforward gains Kf of 0, 50, 80, and 100% and the different speed control gains Kv of 50, 100, 1000, 2000, and 3000 rad/s are investigated for a smart productivity. In addition, the steady-state errors and the setting times at the different Rg ratios of (1:1), (3:1), (5:1), and (7:1) are analysed in position control mode. Results showed the KP gains mainly enhances the settling times and reduces the rise times. The tuning output responses of different Kf gains are almost second order system. The speed control gains Kv mainly enhances the transient response. The characteristic responses of the tuning operations are enabled with connectivity to a cloud network to share the big data, to support decision making, and to adjust operations in real time.

A Congestion Control Method for Multiple Services on Shared M2M Network 共享M2M网络中多业务拥塞控制方法

In this paper, we propose a congestion control method for low-cost M2M devices in wireless multi-hop networks. By adding the packet priority to each packet and changing it dynamically at intermediate devices, this method considers the requested quality level for each service. Finally simulation results show the excellent performance of the proposed method.
本文针对无线多跳网络中的低成本M2M设备,提出了一种拥塞控制方法。通过为每个数据包添加数据包优先级并在中间设备上动态更改它,该方法考虑了每个服务所请求的质量级别。仿真结果表明了该方法的优良性能。

Evaluating the Benefits of Consumer Revisitation Intentions for Restaurants in Taiwan 台湾食肆消费者再访意向之效益评估

When people waits for an extending time in a restaurant, the restaurant must take an appropriate action to recovery it to reduce consumers' dissatisfaction and negative oral spreading in order to bring back consumers and reduce loss of customers. The contingent behavior analysis (CBA) is used for establishing the revisit benefit of the restaurant waiting service, which is used for analyzing factors and benefits affecting people's revisit demand under the service recovery and improvement plans “increase service quality” and “improve restaurant facilities and add technical equipment”. The research result shows different service recovery and improvement plans significantly increase the benefit of people revisiting restaurants. The plan about improvement of software and hardware facilities of restaurants brings the highest benefit. Respondents about the restaurant revisit demands have no price elasticity under implementation of different recovery plans.

Key Predictors of Student Academic Success: The Case of 2011 and 2013 Students 学生学业成功的关键预测因素:以2011年和2013年学生为例

The goal of this research was to identify the predictors of our students' success, which we believe are the factors to improve the internal quality assurance of our university. Determining the success predictors will enable us to determine the factors, which will help our students become successful. Thus, we have been implementing innovations in our curriculum, teaching methods and strategies as well as on-campus and off-campus activities. To assess student achievement in the target skills and contents, we have developed standardized tests for all students, such as the Japanese Language Test, General Language Test, Math Test, Achievement Confirmation Test, and University Benchmarks. This presentation shows which of these tests plus the data from the Course and Student Life Survey can predict student success. The data from the Course and Student Life Survey measured student satisfaction of their academics (academic factor), social relationship (social satisfaction), school facilities (environmental factor) and their own effort to study (learner factor) (St. Mary's College California, 2010). We hope that teachers, curriculum planners, administrators and researchers, not only in Japan but in other countries as well, will benefit from our research results.

Effects of Knowledge Construction Tools on Students' Learning Patterns in Collaborative Game-Based Learning Activities 知识建构工具对合作游戏学习活动中学生学习模式的影响

In this paper, a collaborative game was developed by integrating a grid-based knowledge construction tool. Moreover, an experiment was conducted to examine effects of the knowledge construction tool-based gaming approach on students' behavioral patterns. From the experimental results, it was found that the students who learned with the knowledge construction tool-based collaborative game revealed significant behavioral patterns of “comparing and observing the learning targets” as well as “seeking clues and answers” on their own. This implies that integrating the knowledge construction tool into the collaborative educational game has great potential for fostering students' ability of applying what they have learned to deal with problems.

Robust Intelligent Total-Sliding-Mode Control for the Synchronization of Uncertain Chaotic Systems 不确定混沌系统同步的鲁棒智能全滑模控制

A robust intelligent total-sliding-mode control scheme is developed for the synchronization of uncertain chaotic systems. The proposed in control system offers a design method to drive the state trajectory to track a desired trajectory, and it is comprised of an adaptive wavelet neural network (WNN) controller and a robust compensator. The adaptive WNN controller acts as the principal tracking controller, which is designed to mimic the merits of a desired total-sliding-mode control law. The robust compensator is proposed to confront the uncertainties. Finally, the Lorenz chaotic systems are performed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

Estimating Job Flow Times by Using an Agent-Based Approach 基于agent的作业流时间估计方法

We consider the problem of estimating flow times of jobs that arrive dynamically in a manufacturing system. A job's flow time refers to the time between the job's arrival and completion. Most existing methods use some predefined equations for such estimation, and most of the equations are designed for single machine manufacturing systems. To better estimate the flow time of a job in a more complex system in which there are multiple machines and multiple workstations, we propose a distributed learning approach that divides the manufacturing system into multiple small parts and collects real-time local information in each part to predict the waiting time for a job. We evaluate the proposed approach by comparing it with existing methods using a variety of problem instances. The results show that the proposed approach outperforms existing methods and accordingly might improve the level of customer service when being used for due date promising.

A Trial Utilization of Weekly Reports to Evaluate Learning for System Development PBLs 试用周报来评估系统开发pbl的学习

In IT-related departments or schools, system development PBL(Project-Based Learning) is focused as one of practical education methods. The evaluation method of students' learning for such PBL is less well-established, despite the fact that educational effects of PBL are highly appreciated. Presentations or reports of PBL have been used to evaluate team in terms of the degree of success as a project. It is difficult to evaluate in terms of learning of individual students. In this paper, we focus on personal weekly report in our university PBL as one of the candidates which is utilized to evaluate the learning of students. Students of the PBL write activity reports in this weekly report. We instruct a part of students to write not only doing but also learning in the reports. And analyze submitted the reports of instructed and not instructed students.

Feature Expression Extraction from Discussion Facilitators' Utterances in Web-Based Forum System towards Autonomous Facilitator Agents 面向自主促进者的网络论坛系统中讨论促进者话语特征表达提取

Discussion facilitators play an important role for better consensus building in public debates because diverse stakeholders addressing public issues have diverse view points. We investigated how facilitators facilitate public debate with a statistical analysis approach using a public debate corpus collected by a Web-based forum system. This debate corpus consists of over one thousand utterances posted by debate participants and facilitators written in Japanese. To investigate linguistic expressions suitable for facilitating public debate, we extracted feature expressions of facilitators' utterances with focusing on several contextual features. The results show that facilitators' questioning plays an important role for avoiding stagnation of discussion and for increasing the number of participants' utterances. We are planning to apply the extracted feature expressions to generating utterances of autonomous facilitator agents in future work.

Design Method and Information Representation for Computer Aided Welding Fixture Design 计算机辅助焊接夹具设计方法及信息表示

Welding fixtures are made specifically to hold multiple parts together, allow adequate tool passage, resist high heat and sputter, permit passage of weld runoff, and in some cases conduct electricity and provide grounding. Traditionally, welding fixture design often heavily relies on welding fixture design engineers' experience and knowledge and lacks obvious progress in utilizing automatic and intelligent technologies effectively. In this paper, a methodology of computer-aided welding fixture design is proposed. Based on this methodology, the design process is then presented, including: defining requirements, gathering and analyzing the information, fixturing design procedure, fixture design check and verification and post process. This methodology could help designers to make a conceptual fixturing solution quickly and, finally, finish the detailed solution of fixture design. The results of this paper have been shown in a case study using a welding fixture to define each idea of the methodology and to provide an example.
