The article deals with the study of the features of the prosodic side of speech as part of the artistic perception of the poetic text by junior schoolchildren with hearing impairment. The results of the experimental study on the prosodic side of speech of primary schoolchildren with preserved and impaired hearing are presented. The speech development of children with hearing impairment goes along a peculiar way of formation, which is reflected in the specificity of their mastery of the prosodic side of speech, which is important for understanding and mastering artwork and especially poetic texts, and, therefore, affects the mental, speech, aesthetic and emotional development of the child as a whole.

In the work on historical and cultural material, an analysis is made of the change in the direction of the scientific paradigm from anthropocentric to socio-centric, which is most reflected in the period of the “New Time”, that is, the period in the history of mankind, between the “Middle Ages” and “Modern Times”, which had a significant influence on the evolution of scientific thought. The mutual relationship between culture and art is shown, as well as the step-by-step process of the formation of European science is examined, in which the influence of the state’s cultural policy on the worldview of the society, and the integrity of a science-oriented worldview are observed. Then science, reflected as a sociocultural phenomenon, has several aspects, such as the influence of culture and society on science, and vice versa, the influence of science on culture and society, which determines the direction of scientific interests, and the very approaches to understanding, comprehending the world. Realization of the development of science in the interests of the state with inevitability made it possible to imagine the main role of the social principle in the existence of man, which subsequently received a continuation in the nature of man. The man was cut off from nature and from the world and completely absorbed in the system of the social sphere, just as the individual was perceived only in the system of the state, whose general limitations were limited to his worldview.

The article considers correctness of definition for the root of the n-th degree from a real number and the degree of a real number with an arbitrary real exponent. The article analyzes the definitions of these concepts in different school textbooks and university textbooks, and discusses the differences and contradictions that arise. The article solves exponential and power-exponential equations depending on those approaches that were chosen by the authors. The solution to the problem of correctly defining these concepts lies outside the school mathematics course and goes into the theory of analytic functions. The authors of the article suggest ways that, in their opinion, can be implemented when teaching mathematics.

The author highlights the global trends observed in the system of higher education: the growth of mutual influence and interdependence of the people of the planet; increased commercialization of life, the emergence of new perspectives. It is shown that the English language takes on new educational functions; new, more attractive places for training and scientific research appear due to changes in status and rating; the diversity of training areas and pedagogical approaches is increasing; new opportunities open up in the study of programs and languages; value guidelines change. Promising opportunities and styles of using the English language as a source of education and learning tool are revealed.

The article considers the technology of formative assessment and methods for its implementation in the context of the activity approach. Formative assessment allows the student to realize the result of his activity in the lesson (class) in each specific case, to improve his result; to understand what was important in the lesson (class). In the context of formative assessment, the student becomes an active subject of evaluation activity. Teachers, using this technology, receive information on how effective the learning material is learned by students, and this further enables the teacher to adjust the organization of the educational process. The introduction of assessment technology techniques contributes to the formation of the students’ ability to evaluate their activities and their results, changes that occur in the subject of activity and in themselves.

The article deals with the identification of a person’s communication abilities in social practice and in the Internet-related areas. Over the years, intercultural communication has attracted great interest among scientists. Numerous studies have been conducted on various aspects of its formation. In the process of this research the necessary conditions for the effectiveness of pedagogical communication have been presented. The nature of teacher-student behaviour and their social interaction allowing them to cooperate harmoniously with each other have also been identified. The article analyses in detail three directions in the study of the main purpose of intercultural communication: the specificity of culture, culture as a whole and intercultural interaction. Currently, modern cultures are losing their originality and isolation, and the boundaries between them are increasingly blurring and disappearing, so this study focuses on communication through social networks. The need for effective use of social networks to adapt minorities and immigrants to the new culture and to present them as a cultural phenomenon is stressed.

The article reveals the essence of the concept of the educational situation from the perspective of pedagogical design as a methodology and technology of modern education. The importance of designing educational situations as a micro-event of pedagogical reality in the context of the ideas of developing education is substantiated. The difference and similarity of concepts of the pedagogical situation, the learning situation and the educational situation is substantiated. A situation is educational if (a) its purpose is to increase the cognitive, operational or motivational resources of students, (b) it is specified with respect to the time it began and ended, and also the place in the educational process, (c) it suggests involvement and co-distributed activity of the participants in the educational process. The signs of the educational situation are discussed: openness, probabilistic nature, situatedness. A structural model of the educational situation is proposed and recommendations are given for scenarios of situations for developing education.

Throughout the millennium, the phenomenon of Orthodox pedagogical culture has been developing in Russia. Its theory was formed on the basis of the generalization of the experience of religious and moral development and upbringing of personality, presented, among other things, in hagiographic literature. The purpose of the article is to characterize the dominant ideas of Orthodox pedagogical culture, based on examples from the practice of the lives of saints. The methodological basis of the research was philosophical and anthropological ideas - characteristics of a person as an individual personality; ideas about deterministic influence of axiology on spiritual culture, a variety of which is Orthodox pedagogical culture. As a result of analysis, the author concludes that hagiographic literature has a significant pedagogical potential, as it illustrates, from the point of view of the Orthodox faith, the built up activity of the individual; it illustrates the theoretical provisions and spiritual dominants of the Orthodox pedagogical culture, which reflect its value orientation, standards that serve as a basis for building and verification of the behavior of an Orthodox Christian. From this point of view, hagiographic literature can be called practical pedagogy in Orthodox culture and can be studied in order to fix and reproduce the standard height of the image of a spiritually and morally developed person.

The author explains the value of the approach to the development of a new scientific paradigm in art education. In art education, the moral aspect of teacher training, which can convey to students the need to self-esteem their experiences and the ways in which they are expressed in artistic language, is the most important measure. According to the author, the appeal to philosophical foundations, cultural values, historical facts of experimental achievements, creating new stages for the development of civilization as a whole, forms a special national and cultural appeal for the unity of a multinational country. Consequently, the formation of a single digital educational platform for countries such as China and Russia requires clarifying the relationship between the nurturing and forming professional components of the learning process.
