Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini menjelaskan dan mendeskripsikan aspek mikrostruktural geguritan “Surat Putih” karya Sri Setyorahayu (selanjutnya disingkat GSP). Pendekatan melalui aspek mikrostruktural melihat wacana dibentuk dua segi yaitu segi hubungan bentuk dan hubungan makna. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data adalah GSP yang termuat pada buku “Tembang dan Puisi Jawa Modern” karya Prof. Dr. Herman J. Waluyo, M.Pd., dkk. tahun 2012, halaman 49. Data penelitian adalah teks GSP. Data dikumpulan dengan metode baca dan catat. Teknik analisis data menggunakan dua metode yaitu metode agih dan padan. Metode agih untuk mengaji kohesi dan struktur kebahasaan wacana, sedangkan metode padan digunakan untuk mengkaji konteks. Validasi data penelitan menggunakan trianggulasi data. Setelah data dianalisis kemudian diinterpretasi dan diklasifikasi sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian serta membuat simpulan. Hasil dan kesimpulan dari penelitan menyatakan bahwa aspek mikrostruktural GSP terdiri dari kohesi gramatikal maupun leksikal. Kohesi gramatikal terdiri atas referensi, substitusi, elepsis, dan konjungsi; sedangkan kohesi leksikal terdiri dari repetisi, sinonimi, kolokasi, dan ekuivalensi.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini secara umum adalah untuk mengetahui unsur semiotik yang ada dalam tradisi lisan Grebeg Sukuh dan tujuan khususnya untuk mendeskripsikan tradisi, maksud dan tujuan, juga unsur semiotik pada tradisi lisan Grebeg Sukuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan semiotika Charless Sandes Pierce. Upacara adat oleh Masyarakat Jawa masih dipegang teguh dan dilaksanakan rutin sesuai dengan waktu yang sudah ditentukan. Beberapa wujud upacar adat salah satunya adalah tradisi sedekah bumi Kebur Ubalan di Desa Jarak, Kabupaten Kediri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan mendeskripsikan makna dan nilai sosial yang terkandung dalam tradisi Kebur Ubalan di Desa Jarak, Kabupaten Kediri. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian studi kasus dengan sumber data utamanya adalah proses tradisi Kebur Ubalan di Desa Jarak. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna dari tradisi kebur ubalan adalah perwujudan rasa Syukur para petani di Desa Jarak atas hasil panen yang diperolehnya. Selain itu, tradisi ini juga merupakan wujud reaktualisasi Sejarah sumber ubalan dan bentuk sosialisasi kepada Masyarakat serta para wisawatan. Nilai sosial yang terkandung dalam tradisi kebur ubalan terdiri dari nilai vital, nilai material, nilai kerohanian (gotong royong, keindahan, dan kerja sama), dan nilai kerohanian. Adanya tradisi kebur ubalan ini merepresentasikan konsep interaksi antara manusia, alam, dan Tuhan yang dibalut dalam sebuah upacara adat.

Language is unique and universal. Unique means that every language has the same characteristics that are owned by every language in the world and universal means that it has its own characteristics that are not owned by other languages. This study aims to compare the similarities and differences in meaning found in Chinese proverbs and Indonesian proverbs that use the word "heart". Researchers used a qualitative descriptive research design. The data collection technique was carried out using documentation techniques and the data sources for this research were the Xīnhuá chéngyǔ cídiǎn dictionary and the 7700 Indonesian Proverb Dictionary. The results of this study indicate that there are 10 similar meanings in Chinese proverbs and Indonesian proverbs, such as anxiety, honesty, very close relationships and others. Besides that, there are 28 different meanings in Mandarin proverbs and Indonesian proverbs, such as not concentrating, being loyal, being wise and so on. Most describe the state, feelings, behavior and character of a person.

Directive Speech Acts in the Dialogue of the Film Tarung Sarung by Archie Hekagery. This research is a qualitative descriptive research that aims to: describe the form of directive speech acts contained in the dialogue of the film Tarung Sarong by Archie Hekagery and describe the function of directive speech acts contained in the dialogue of the film Tarung Sarung by Archie Hekagery. Data collection was carried out using free-involved listening techniques. The results of this research are related to directive speech acts seen from the aspects of form and function. In the dialogue of the film Tarung Sarong, six forms of directive speech acts are found, namely orders, requests, invitations, prohibitions, advice, and criticism. Judging from the function of directive speech acts, the dialogue in the film Tarung Sarung has various functions. The directive speech act form of command has the function of ordering, ordering, instructing, requiring, and permitting. The form of a request directive speech act has the function of requesting and begging. The directive speech act form of invitation has the functions of inviting, supporting, demanding and demanding. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskripstif kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis isi. Sumber data yang digunakan ialah tuturan Ganjar Pranowo dalam daftar putar Ruang Ganjar di kanal Youtube Ganjar Pranowo. Teknik sampling yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik simak catat dan wawancara. Uji validitas pada penelitian ini menggunkan triangulasi teori dan triangulasi sumber data. Analisis data yang digunakan ialah teknik analisis data mengalir oleh Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bentuk gaya bahasa Ganjar Pranowo memiliki kecenderungan gaya bahasa yang digunakan Ganjar Pranowo bertujuan untuk menjangkau seluruh kalangan, dari kaum terpelajar hingga kaum yang tidak mengenyam pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan bahasanya menggunakan bahasa yang runtut, mudah dipahami, dan tidak banyak menggunakan majas atau ungkapan yang sulit ditangkap maknanya. Fashion bukan hanya untuk gaya, melainkan ada pesan khusus yang di sampaikan lewat apa yang dikenakan. Makna komunikasi Verbal dan Non-Verbal tak luput dari fashion. Oleh karena itu sangat menarik untuk diteliti bagaimana pelanggan sevensix.store dalam memaknai apa yang mereka pakai. Terlebih toko Sevensix.store ini menjual fashion jenis trift. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Fenomenologi dengan metode jenis penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Penulis menggunakan teori Pemaknaan, Komunikasi Non Verbal dan Gaya Hidup. Adapun hasil penelitiannya adalah makna yang tersirat dari Fashion thrift sebagaikomunikasi adalah Emblems of the soul: pakaian menjadi “perlambang jiwa”, The language of Fashion “busana selayaknya bahasa”, Use value: Memakai busana bukan karena kegunaan, Fashion and clothing are form of non-verbal dan communication in that they do not use spoken or written words, A culture of spectacle: Ingin melihat tapi sekaligus juga dilihat. Dan kesimpulannya, Thrift bukan hanya tentang pakaian bekas, akan tetapi Thrift memiliki value tersendiri dalam pemaknaan dari setiap orang yang memakainya. Mereka memakai thrift ini merasa keren saat menggunakanya, serta menurut mereka memakai trifh adalah salah satu bentuk melindungi bumi dari limbah.

The aims of this research are (1) to describe the social criticism contained in the film Miskin Susah Kaya Susah, (2) to describe its relevance to learning Indonesian in high school. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data source comes from the film Poor Susah Rich Susah. Data collection techniques using observation and note-taking techniques. The results of the research show that there are four social criticisms which cover the problems of poverty, population, education, and morals. In addition, the film Miskin Susah Kaya Susah can be used as Indonesian language learning material in SMA Class X1 even semester at KD 3.19 to analyze the content and language of the drama or film that is read or watched. From this it proves that there is relevance to the use of film media for learning Indonesian. The benefits that students get from analyzing social criticism in films are developing sensitivity to problems that occur in their environment.

In the 1930s, African-American male athletes faced segregation and discrimination due to their skin color. Modern biographical films now offer a more accurate representation of their struggles and achievements. This research examines how the movie “Race” (2016) portrays Jesse Owens, a male African-American athlete from the 1930s, and its implications for present-day US race relations. Through qualitative analysis using Narrative and Non-Narrative methods, we apply Stephen Greenblatt’s New Historicism to explore the movie's depiction of Owens. By comparing the film to historical records, we find that "Race" neglects to show Owens’ dedication to sports, education, work, and the significant influence of his Irish first coach. These omissions are connected to the continued exclusion of African-Americans in contemporary American society. This study reaffirms the persistence of white supremacy beliefs and stereotypes surrounding African-American athletes, portraying them as solely focused on sports. The portrayal of Jesse Owens in the movie mirrors the current experiences of African-American male athletes, who still grapple with stereotypes and racial discrimination, even in the aftermath of President Obama’s tenure.
