Renewable Energy needs to be implemented in schools to build students' knowledge. This research aims to design a prototype of a Photovoltaic Power Plant (PLTS), which can be used as a medium for experimental high school physics activities. Besides that, the effect of light intensity on the power produced by the PLTS prototype was experimentally tested by observing temperature, humidity, and air pressure. The PLTS prototype is designed to be simple, with component selection (10 wp solar panels, SCC, batteries, lights and panel boxes) that are adapted to the learning media criteria, namely practical, durable, easy to use and able to demonstrate the concepts being taught. The PLTS prototype was tested when charging and discharging the battery. When charging the battery, the solar panel is tilted with a variety of tilt angles of 0º, 15º, 30º, 45º and 60º. When discharging the battery, lamps with varying powers are used, namely 3W, 5W, 7W and 9W. The research results show that the panel tilt angle is used to produce maximum voltage, current, and power when charging the battery, which is 30°. When the battery is discharged, a smaller lamp power can light the lamp for longer compared to a larger lamp power. In conclusion, the PLTS prototype can provide students with experience in conducting experiments and learning the application of physics concepts directly so that it can build students' knowledge and provide meaningful learning

This research was conducted to determine the suitability of marine tourism conditions for the beach recreation category in order to ensure the sustainability of marine tourism, as Kawasan Wisata Pantai Padang is frequently visited by both domestic and international tourists. This can increase anthropogenic activities in the area and lead to a significant amount of marine debris, especially plastic waste, thus potentially compromising the aesthetic value of the tourist beach and even causing environmental pollution and negative impacts on humans. The collection of IKW data employs the purposive sampling method. The observation stations are divided into 8, each observation station consists of an area with different characteristics related to human activities such as densely populated areas, river estuaries, tourist areas, and sparsely populated areas. The determination of the suitability index for beach recreational marine tourism is carried out using a suitability matrix analysis, considering 10 parameters such as Beach Type, Substrate Material, Water Depth, Water Clarity, Current Velocity, Beach Slope, Coastal Land Cover, Hazardous Biota, and Freshwater Availability. The condition of the suitability index parameters for recreational beaches in the Padang Beach Tourism Area at stations 2, 3, 4, and 5 obtains a value of 2.56, indicating that they fall into the category of highly suitable (total score greater than 2.5). Furthermore, at stations 1 and 6, the obtained values are 2.095, classifying them as suitable (total score slightly less than 2.5), and stations 7 and 8 achieve a value of 1.89, categorizing them as not suitable (total score less than 2.0).The results indicate that overall, the Padang Beach Tourism Area falls within the category of highly suitable for beach recreational tourism and can be further developed in its management.

This research aims to determine the influence of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model based on local Gorontalo cultural values on the learning outcomes of simple aircraft concepts. This research is experimental, with the research design being a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was all class VIII of SMP Negeri 8 Paguyaman for the 2023/2024 academic year. Research data was collected using test techniques. Then, the data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including normality tests, hypothesis tests, and n-gain analysis. The average score for all sample classes for class VIII students is greater than the minimum completion criteria (MCC), as shown by the average score for the experimental class of 81.97, replication class 1 of 80.91, and replication class 2 of 80.15, compared to the MCC of 75. Based on the course results, the average normalized gain obtained by the experimental class was 0.69, replication class 1 was 0.68, and replication class 2 was 0.68, meaning that all sample classes are in the medium category. Thus, the PjBL model based on local Gorontalo cultural values has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in simple aircraft concepts.
