This study aims to analyze the Emotional Quotient level, reading achievement level, and emotional quotient's effect on reading achievement in grade II students. This method of research was ex-post facto with a quantitative approach. The instrument used to measure students' emotional quotient levels was a questionnaire; meanwhile, the instrument used to measure students' reading achievement levels was documentation. Furthermore, the data analysis technique was descriptive analysis, then proceeded with the prerequisite analysis test, starting from the normality and linearity tests. Finally, the research hypothesis was tested using a simple linear regression test and the F test. The result was that most students have a relatively low EQ, so their reading achievement was relatively low too. The results of a straightforward regression analysis yield the equation Y = 45.788 + 0.406X, which showed that an increase in the reading performance score of 0.406 would occur for every additional unit of emotional quotient score. Thus, a significant positive relationship existed between kids' EQ and reading achievement. Self-awareness, mood management, self-motivation, empathy, and relationship management were essential considerations when increasing students' emotional quotient (EQ). While age, teaching strategies, the environment in which students learn, and parental and educational support for encouraging and assisting students in learning to read were among the elements that influence students' reading achievement.

This study aims to examine the application of the POE (Prediction, Observation, and Explanation) learning model in Mathematics and Natural Sciences learning in the last 10 years in terms of advantages and constraints in Mathematics and Natural Sciences learning at elementary school, junior high school, and senior high school levels. The research used meta-analysis with a quantitative approach and data collection of Scopus/WoS and SINTA journals literature studies on POE in MIPA learning combined with MIPA materials for elementary school, junior high school, and senior high school. The data collection techniques of this research were (1) searching journal and repository databases, (2) data encoding & tabulation, (3) JASP software inputs, (4) interpretation & conclusion: JASP output, moderator variables. The research results showed that applying the POE learning model had a greater effect on student Learning Outcome than on student Critical Thinking with an effect of 60%. Then based on the education level, the POE model's influence on Critical Thinking and Student Learning Outcome was greater at the senior high school level, and based on the material field, the POE model had a greater influence on the mathematics material field. Then the moderator variable showed a very drastic decrease in the effect of the POE model on the Critical Thinking and Learning Outcome of students in 2018-2022, with a RE value of 47% smaller than the previous year. In addition, we recommend that the POE model is better applied at the high school level than at the elementary and junior high school levels.

Vocational education has a duty to help green industries and sustainable development in society. However, learning in vocational education still has many shortcomings that must be overcome, given the contribution of a sizable negative impact on the environment. The implementation of green skills in learning is very important as an effort to overcome these problems. This study analyzes the perceptions of teachers and students as learning practitioners towards the implementation of green skills in the form of activity behavior in learning. Ten teachers and eight students were involved as key informants in collecting data through semi-structured interview techniques. Qualitative data were analyzed thematically with the help of NVivo 12 Plus Software. The findings in this study are classified into three main aspects, namely green skills planning activities, green behavior activities during learning, and green skills implementation evaluation. Planning activities related to the formulation of green competency outcomes, infrastructure needs and student readiness. As long as its implementation is oriented towards the behavior of reuse, reduce, repair and recycle. The impact of green behavior that is generated is about student learning comfort, energy-saving behavior and the ability to develop green products. The perceived evaluation is related to improving learning methodologies and building collaboration in class or collaboration with stakeholders, including the green industry, the local green environment service.
