The existence of archaeological sites on the island of Nusa Penida has an important role in the history of human civilization. These sites have significance for science as well as history, but their potential economic significance has not been explored. This paper aims to show the existence of archaeological sites on the island of Nusa Penida and also the economic importance of these sites. One of the potentials that can be developed is as a tourism object that still pays attention to the principles of conservation and cultural resource management (CRM). The research method is in the form of data collection with observation techniques and also literature study, analyzing qualitative data and presenting data in an explanatory descriptive manner. The results showed the potential of archaeological sites as a tourist attraction. Some of the sites that have the most potential to be developed are the Song Gede Site, the Japanese Cave Complex Site, and the Song Toya Pakeh underwater cave site.

This study aims to describe the types of utterances of directives illocutionary act and the illocutionary forces of the characters’ utterances in “The Desperate Hour” movie. The form of data being taken is the characters’ utterances containing directive illocutionary acts. They were analyzed using the theory of speech acts proposed by Searle. It applies the descriptive qualitative method with the note-taking technique. The findings show that the interrogative and imperative types of utterances indicating directive illocutionary acts are applied in the movie. Whereas, the declarative utterances were not applied. The directives illocutionary acts show seven illocutionary forces, they are asking, commanding, inviting, begging, suggesting, requesting, and interrogating.

This paper discusses the cultural phenomenon of urban women in the modern era that gives rise to a lifestyle in an effort to maintain health. The lives of women in urban areas have a need to take care of skin health. One way to treat it is to buy beauty care products or skincare. The behavior that appears with a variety of beauty and skincare products makes it a cultural necessity. The emergence of dependence on beauty clinics and various beauty products cannot be separated from the identity of women in urban areas. This paper is based on the results of a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. Based on key informants the knowledge and needs of skin health are influenced by the media and popular culture. The need for skin health through skincare products affects the beauty standards of modern women in urban areas.

Bioarchaeology is the science that covers the relationship between bioanthropology and archaeology to reconstructing biological and cultural processes in the past. The study focuses on skeletal components of R.PNY (PULAKI) on Pulaki Site that aim to learn information about human osteobigraphy. In this study, authors use methods of data-collection of library studies, obsevations, and interviews. Data is then treated using macroscopic analysis, microscopic analysis, anthropogenic analysis, anthropometrics analysis and comparative analysis. Forensic theory is used to assist in the process of analysis. By the process of identification it is known that the R.PNY (PULAKI) skeleton has an unidentified gender of about 6-12 years of age with a height of 125.102 cm ± 10 cm by length of bone. In addition, there are indications of pathology and bone modification such as dental hypoplasia, caries occlusal, bone fracture, bone modification by physical agents, and bone modification by nonhuman biological agents.

This article discusses the use and meaning of the adverb 'shikkari' in everyday Japanese polysemy. The data in this article were obtained from spoken data used by native Japanese speakers. The method used in this article is descriptive method. To obtain valid data, a field study was conducted directly to dig up the required information through the interview method and assisted with note-taking techniques. The data were analyzed using Pateda's theory of contextual meaning (2010: 116). From the data that has been collected, the adverb 'shikkari' in Japanese polysemy has different meanings depending on the context in which it is used. From the results of the analysis, in general the adverb 'shikkari' means (1) a strong/sturdy foundation and building structure, (2) a strong body, soul and personality, (3) a clear goal and a strong memory, (4) something trustworthy and reliable, (5) do something hard in terms of work/learning, and (6) actions and behaviour (good, sharp, and healthy).

This study entitled Mapping Grammatical Relations of English Verbs, concerns on numbers of arguments that a verb could assign and how an argument is syntactically motivated in clauses of which the mood is declarative. This study involves to library research, and the method that was applied in this study was descriptive method which describes linguistics phenomena like what it actually is. The data of this study were taken from the Corpus of Contemporary American English (COCA) by inputting verbs those have been determined to the website http://www.english-corpora.org/coca/. The main theory applied in this study was Kroeger’s (2005) regarding to transitivity and grammatical relation. Based on the analysis, verbs in English require argument(s), terms or obliques. An intransitive verb assigns a term that stands as subject, a transitive verb assigns two terms those stand as subject and primary object. On the other hand, a ditransitive verb assigns three terms those stand as subject, primary object and secondary object. In addition, there is an argument that stands as oblique.

Using descriptive-qualitative method type of research, the analysis is conducted with a purpose of finding out the true depth of the characters using the three dimensions of characters theory by Lajos Egri which covers the aspects of physiological, psychological and sociological dimension. Having done the analysis, it can be concluded that the character Cady Heron, physically appears to be sexy, nice-looking and genuinely pious girl lives around a positive atmosphere. It all changed when she began to hang out with meanest charcater in the movie, Regina George that ingrainly vicious deep inside but she still managed to be idolized by people because of her glamourous life. Phisiologically, Regina is pretty, skinny and dressed georgously. Psychologycally, she is mean, she has way worse personality than what is shown.
