Gerantang". The results of this study describe the bullying found in traditional Balinese literary works, namely Geguritan Cupak Gerantang. The use of literary sociology theory in this analysis is able to reveal aspects of bullying which is one of the social phenomena in society contained in geguritan. The methods and techniques used consist of three steps, namely: (1) Providing data using the listening method accompanied by note-taking techniques and translation techniques, (2) The data analysis using qualitative methods and supported by analytical descriptive techniques, (3) presentation of the results of data analysis using informal methods accompanied by inductive and deductive techniques. The bullying aspect found in Geguritan Cupak Gerantang is shown by the interactions between the characters, which include the types of bullying, the factors behind the bullying, and the impact of the bullying.

The role of women cannot be denied having a big role in maintaining family integrity in the era of technological disruption. The era where internet technology is growing very rapidly through social media and entertainment. Women who have often played the number two role, can now play a dual role when dealing with the era of disruption coupled with the COVID-19 pandemic that hit almost all over the world, including Bali in particular. This study of the role of women is interesting because not many have raised it if it is based on the teachings of the Catholic religion which has recognized the position of women in the eyes of the Catholic Church since the Second Vatican Council in 1960. The issues raised in this paper include the role of mothers and Catholic families in the era of technological disruption and the role of the Catholic Church in dealing with the concerns of its people in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic in Bali. The theory used is a sociological approach about dual roles. The research method used is a qualitative research method using library sources and in-depth interviews with informants using snowball sampling technique.

Kakawin Ananda Bhuwana is an Old Javanese literary work that describes a character's journey in search of happiness (metta). The creativity and imaginative power of the author in compiling the story and giving the title to this literary work is a unique and special attraction. The theory used is the discourse theory proposed by Van Dijk. The analysis results of Kakawin Ananda Bhuwana's text show Kakawin Ananda Bhuwana as a constructor of metta discourse formed from a formal structure consisting of a macrostructure, a superstructure, and a microstructure.

The Covid-19 pandemic has drastically reduced tourism activity and has had an impact on the economy. To recover from this impact, with the new normal policy, the government will reopen tourism activities by implementing strict health protocols. This policy also applies in Gianyar Regency, Bali. This study aims to examine the prevention of the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the cultural heritage tourism sector in Gianyar Regency, Bali. The study applied qualitative methods which were analyzed descriptively. The results of the study indicate that the government has made policies regarding the application of health protocols in tourism activities. The protocols that have been implemented in cultural heritage tourism objects in Gianyar Regency include wearing masks, checking temperature, providing handwashing facilities, and holding supervision so that visitors always obey the health protocol. With the new normal policy, it is hoped that all people, especially those in the tourism sector, understand and implement better health protocols, to minimize the possibility of Covid-19 transmission in the tourism sector.

This study is aimed to identify the verbal sign used in the music video “This is America” by Childish Gambino. This study used a qualitative library research approach. Based on that approach, the data were described according to the theories applied in this study. The data collected by note taking and documentation methods. The first theory applied in this study was the verbal sign proposed by Dyer. It was used to analyze the verbal sign in the music video. The second theory applied was the theory of meaning proposed by Leech to analyze the meaning used in the music video. The results showed that the meaning of the lyrics refers to the African American society’s problem of racism, police brutality, violence and gun possession. The lyrics contained the connotative and conceptual meaning.

English Language Training for Students at SD 4 Tuban is one of the studies with the aim of improving students' abilities and competencies. It is one of the public elementary schools located in Kuta District, Tuban Village, Badung Regency. As one of the outstanding public elementary schools, it always maintains its good name and achievements through the performance of the teachers and their students. English as one of the compulsory subjects in addition to Balinese and Indonesian, is something that must be mastered by students considering that Badung Regency is one of the regencies that is famous for its tourism. The results of the study show that the use of the direct method, with game techniques and practice in pairs really helps improve students' creativity in communicating using English. Through this activity the students get a good learning experience, increase their confidence, and also improve their speaking and listening skills.

Women in Bali are the group most affected by Covid-19 in the economic sector. They have to think seriously and work hard for the basic daily needs families, as experienced by women in Antap Village, Tabanan Regency, Bali Province. The study aims to reveal the roles and constraints of women in Antap Village on contributing to the household economy sector during the Covid-19 period. The research applies ethnographic methods sourced from interviews with informants by applying health protocols, observations, and literature review that are analyzed and presented descriptively. The article reveals that women in Antap Village have a double burden in maintaining the household economy, especially when the husband experiences layoffs during the Covid-19 period. Meanwhile, women’s constraints in Antap Village to contributing to the household economy are internal and external.

The Old Balinese language is the forerunner of the existence of the current Modern Balinese language. As an agglutinative language, affixes are important in the formation of vocabulary. There are some Old Balinese affixes inherited in the Modern Balinese language, both prefixes, infixes, and suffixes. The purpose of this research is to describe the inheritance of Old Balinese language affixes into Modern Balinese language. The theory used is the structural theory. Methodologically, this research is divided into three stages. The first stage of data collection is the library, listening, and note taking method assisted by translation and equivalent techniques. Second, the data analysis phase uses qualitative-quantitative methods with analytical descriptive techniques. Third, the stage of presenting the results of the analysis with the formal-informal method. The results of this study indicate that the inherited Old Balinese language affixes include prefixes reaching 50%, infixes 66, 67 %, and suffixes 42, 86%. It means that there are some Old Balinese language affixes that have not been inherited. Although the Old Balinese language is the source of the existence of the Balinese Modern language, it turns out that not all of its affixes are inherited.

This study aims (1) to describe the forms of flora and fauna lexicons in the rice field environment in Ubud (2) to find out the flora and fauna lexicons in the rice field environment in Balinese language which were influenced by flora and fauna lexicons in Indonesian language in a speech community in Ubud (3) to find out the factors that cause the lexicon of flora and fauna of the Balinese language was influenced by Indonesian language in the rice field environment in Ubud. This study were used morphological theory, ecolinguistic theory using a logical dimension model proposed by Bang and Døør, as well as ecolinguistic theory, especially ecology of language according to Haugen and ecolinguistic parameters. The method was used to referring the techniques involved proficient. There were three results of this study, namely as follows. First, finding the forms of flora and fauna lexicons in the rice field environment in Ubud, namely single form and complex form, consisting of reapeated and compound words. Second, discovering the flora and fauna lexicon in the rice field environment in Balinese language which was starting to be influenced by the flora and fauna lexicon in the Indonesian language in the speech community of the people in Ubud, namely the ambengan lexicon, padang getap, keladi, piduh-piduh, ligundi, pacet, blecing, yuyu, blauk, dan kakul. The word yén (Balinese) has a meaning parallel to the words if and if (Indonesian). One of the characters of the word yén is as a conjunction. In addition, the word yén also has a character like a preposition. The word yén (Balinese) only has a function and meaning in a syntactic structure. The word yén (Balinese) which functions as a conjunction has similarities and differences with the word yén which is characterized as a preposition. In this case both belong to the category of particles. In addition, it also only has a function and meaning in a syntactic structure. The difference is that yén as a subordinate conjunction connects words or phrases that have the potential to become clauses. On the other hand, yén which is characterized as a preposition is followed by a group of words or words that are potential phrases.
