The purpose of this research is to know the effectivity of simulator as learning media of pneumatic control system. The research employed quasi-experiment method with pre and post-test design. The material is limited to sequential motion control using two actuators applied to the transfer of objects. Learning media training kit was used in controlled class while in the experimental class, simulator development results were applied. To measure students’ ability in contriving circuit diagram to control electroplating product transfer, essay test was employed. The results showed that pneumatic simulator result of development and training kit was quite effective as a learning media for sequential motion controlling material. However, the statistical test showed no significant difference between the two groups, so it can be concluded that both the pneumatic simulator and the training kit for some extent have similar effectiveness to the result as learning media. Keywords—simulator; pneumatic control system; learning media

This research background is based on the gap among students regarding the capabilities to understand and visualize a certain shape and color of interior-exterior subject, seen by the visual-spatial intelligence of the students themselves. Visual-spatial intelligence and drawing ability research are focusing towards the 11th grader in Teknik Gambar Bangunan (TGB) of interior-exterior subject in SMK-PU Negeri Bandung. Thus research aimed to attain the data of: (1) Visual-spatial intelligence of 11th grader TGB SMK-PU Negeri Bandung; (2) The drawing ability of 11th grader TGB of Interior-Exterior subject in SMK-PU Negeri Bandung; and (3) The contribution of visual-spatial intelligence towards the drawing ability of TGB students on Interior-Exterior subject in SMK-PU Negeri Bandung. The theoretical framework or the research method used in this research is the descriptive correlation method with the quantitative approach. Sample technique of the research is saturation sampling. The sample of this research is about 67 TGB students of 11th grader in SMK-PU Negeri Bandung; and The collecting technique of the data is based on the data analysis test technique of product moment. The Result of the research shows that : (1) Visual-spatial intelligence of 11th grader TGB students in SMK-PU Negeri Bandung are majority under the average number with the percentage of 62,89%; (2) The drawing ability of 11th grader TGB students in SMK-PU Negeri Bandung are majority under the average standardized rate with the percentage of 59,70%; (3) There is a significant contribution between the linkage of visual-spatial intelligence towards the 11th grader TGB students in SMK-PU Negeri Bandung in interiorexterior subject. Those data occurred based on the calculation of 4,805 (t count) > 1,667 (t table) with the significance of 5%. Visual-spatial intelligence actually put efforts on giving the contribution with the amount of 25,72% towards the ability student's drawing and the data above is also supported by other factors. Nowadays the world of education is burdened by the low quality of learning. The quality is greatly decreased both from the aspects of the learning process and the learning outcomes of the students themselves. Mastery of art learning materials are still considered unsatisfactory while in the learning process students are less able to develop skills. This study aims to develop a model of art-based arts based on basic competence as one of the most effective alternatives. This learning model can also see the weaknesses or advantages of models that have been used by teachers over the years. This research shows teacher ability in identifying curriculum content, interaction between teacher and student intertwined before entering class, selection of art teaching method, utilization of natural potency as supporting of art learning, child difficulty level in mastering concept very diverse. So this research can be useful for elementary school teachers in the mastery of the material, must be more creative in implementing learning

This study is based on the need analysis that finds the phenomenon that conventional learning model has not been effective enough in developing students learning potential optimally. This study aims to know the effectiveness and difference learning result of using Collaborative-Problem Based Learning (CPBL) model on computer network subjects compared with conventional learning method. The subject of this research is the 4th semester students of Information Technology Study Program of Universitas Dharmas Indonesia as much as 42 students. Students are divided into groups of controls and experimental groups. This research uses Quasi-Experiment approach, with non-equivalent control group design. The results showed that learning model collaborative-problem based learning in computer network course is effective in imparting learnings skill and more motivated in learning, more confident and able to solve problems given, responsible and able to work together in teams, there is difference learning result of learning model of Collaborative-Problem Based Learning with conventional learning methods on cognitive and psychomotor aspects. Students’ sexual violence has shown an alarming signal. Therefore, teachers play important role in supervising their students to prevent them from being the victims or perpetrators of sexual violence. However, not all teachers are competent in providing their students with adequate knowledge about it. This article studies teachers’ perception of the scope of students’ sexual violence and students’ courage in committing sexual violence. The research result is used to develop personnel development for teachers of Technical and Vocational Education & Training (TVET) in preventing students’ gender violence. The research was conducted at the High Vocational Schools in the ExResidency of Surakarta. The respondents are comprised of the counselling teachers and the school principals. Questionnaire and deep interview were employed to collect the data. The data were qualitatively analyzed using gender analysis of Moser’s model. The result reveals that the teachers have diverse perceptions about the scope of students’ sexual violence and their courage in committing sexual violence is also various. However, the teachers come to an agreement that the schools should be able to provide their students with practical and strategic gender-needs to prevent them from committing sexual violence. Thus, personnel development for teachers is required. Keywords—personnel development training; gender violence; practical needs; strategic needs

The purpose of this study was to describe vocational skills to build independence for disabled children. The research method used is descriptive evaluative. Children with physically disabled are they who have abnormalities in the muscular, bone and joint systems that may be caused by an illness or accident and due to congenital and/or brain damage that can lead to impaired movement, intelligence, communication, perception and adaptation. In living their life, requires various skills. One special skill that is emphasized is vocational skills, namely skills that include the skills to do work that can support themselves properly and can be profitable. The implementation of vocational skills learning for disabled people is cooking, computer (IT) fashion, automotive, and craft making. Keywords—vocational skills; independencies; children with physically disabled

This study discusses how integrating an e-learning to improved students competence in vocational school. This study was categorized as qualitative research that used case study approach. This research took place at one of Vocational High School and University in Special Region of Yogyakarta. The informants in this research were the expert technician of IT, lectures of IT/IS, teachers in SMK, and students in SMK. The data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The technical analysis of the data referred to the analysis of Miles & Huberman interactive model, including data collection, data condensation, data display, and drawing and verifying conclusions. The result showed that: (1) teachers haven't been fully exploiting of e-learning to support adaptive learning in class, because they mostly haven't mastered of ICT and lack of supporting facilities; (2) e-learning used to upload course materials, some to create online quizzes, and discussions; (3) e-learning is used by young teacher or those who master of the ICT field and average in study program of ICT; and (4) governments and NGOs have provided an e-learning for schools, teachers, students, and other that they can use it for learning but
