The implementation of the practicum by the mechanical engineering education program becomes an important part because it provides experience in strengthening the students skills. From the results of observations made to students participant practicum production process II, got some things into the main desire. Of the 6 attributes of the need then the management of Technical Response to answer what the needs of respondents. The team set up a technical response to address the critical issues demanded by respondents using the House of Quality that has received the highest priority increase from the Technical Response as proposed to the faculty with the practicality required for the laboratorium material and additional strengths that contribute approximately 30.3%, set up a practical schedule and dividing the practical group contributed 19.5%. The addition of the proposed class has a 15.3% contribution and set up a practical schedule with a practical implementation target involving a block system where it contributes up to 14%. Then proceed with the next step to provide guidance and instruction for laboratory staff before starting practical activities around 6.2% and rearranging administrative service SOPs to be simpler and relatively increase 41% contribution. Keywords—quality function deployment; laboratory; house of quality

This research was conducted due to the lack of selfregulated learning in Skill Competence of Modeling Design and Building Information (DPIB) in 1 Sukabumi Vocational School, West Java, Indonesia. Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) is one of the internal factors that can affect the learning achievement and more. The SRL has three categories those are cognition, motivation and behavior. This research describes the student perception of SRL in Skill Competence of Modeling Design and Building Information. The purpose of this research is knowing the SRL perception of students from class X DPIB in 1 Sukabumi Vocational School. The research method that used in this research is correlation research method with quantitative descriptive approach. The result of the research showed that the student’s perception about self-regulated learning based on class category are for class X DPIB 1 got a score 68.29 with strong criteria and for class X DPIB 2 got a score 69.92 with strong criteria. Then, for each category of SRL, cognition got a score 65 with medium criteria, motivation got a score 72 with strong criteria and behavior got a score 75 with strong criteria. The usefulness of an e-learning application feature is important to ensure a feature can continue to be used. This study aims to measure the usefulness of e-learning application features and to evaluate the adaptive features of e-learning used in higher education. This study uses measurement the usability test based on the combined use of two techniques: a questionnaire-based survey and an empirical analysis. The survey has been used to achieve feedbacks from the subjects’ point of view. In particular, it has been useful to capture the perceived usability of the subjects. This result is further confirmed by the empirical analysis we carried out by analyzing the correlation between the effort of usability feature to adopted e-learning and some measures suitable defined for those processes. The majority of subjects assess that some e-learning features still have to be developed again. Why? Because there are still some features that have not been in accordance with the needs of users and less adaptive to the information required by the user. Indeed, empirical analysis is found to still have features that can produce adaptive information in a better learning process. The results of this study recommend features adaptive according to user needs so that e-learning becomes an alternative in the learning process in higher education. Massive technology advancement shifts industrial demand in Indonesia from quantitative to qualitative demands, particularly in the field of telecommunication expertise. This Issue did not balance with the enhancement of learning instruction and assessment to support students in order to achieve the needed vocational competencies. Based on findings at preliminary study stage, it is known that some vocational teacher still uses cognitive assessment to assess psychomotor competencies. In some case, teachers are reluctant to change content of learning although competencies provided by that instruction no longer needed by today’s industry. We believe those are one of the causes of high unemployment rate of telecommunication expertise graduate. This study aims to develop performance assessment based on KKNI to support the vocational competence achievement of telecommunication expertise graduate. Product development is done by Research & Development method with Sukmadinata procedure scheme. Product expected to support competency achievement in accordance with assessment standards and improve the relevance of vocational education to industrial needs. At this point, we currently at limited trial stage. As expected, we got good response from teacher for ease of use and accuracy of our developed product, also most of the students manage to achieve the learning

The purpose of this study is to design and build android based application for learning introduction of numbers, colors, and animals, for elementary school children with Indonesian and Mongondow language. Mongondow language is the Filipino family language used by the Mongondow Tribe in North Sulawesi, which at first Mongondow was the language used by the residents of Bolaang Mongondow Kingdom which later became Bolaang Mongondow District. The method used in building this application is the Luther-Sutopo version of MDLC development method and for testing this application using the white box for developer test testing method and the black box testing method for the end user test. This application uses the basic programming of Adobe ActionScript 3.0 on Flash with an Android OS. The results of this study began by displaying a number, color and animal learning menu choices. Then the system displays learning according to the choices made by the user. The system displays learning with the support of images accompanied by sounds that explain the learning material being displayed. This Android-based learning application can provide benefits for children in Bolaang Mongondow district, North Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. Keywords—Mongondow language; android based application; learning application

The preliminary surveys show that many students are less creative, so that it difficult to understand the concept of physics. Many students who do not mastery learning of physics so that it difficult to applied the concept of physics in relevant subjects. Therefore, project-based learning is implemented. This study aims to determine the effect of project-based learning and creativity on the students’ competence. This research used quasi experiment method with pretest-posttest group control design. The subjects of the research were students of eleventh grade at vocational high schools. Data were collected using observation sheets, creativity tests, and achievement tests. The result of the research shows that the project-based learning impact on the students' competence, in the terms of: (1) There is a significant difference of the students’ competence who use the project-based learning with students who use the conventional learning. (2) There is a significant difference of competence between students who have high and low creativity in project-based learning. (3) There is interaction of learning model and creativity that effect to the students’ competence. Thus, student competence is significantly influenced by the implementation of project-based learning. The effect of project-based learning model to the competence of students includes large categories. Keywords—project-based learning; creativity; students competency

To conduct the entertaining and attractive activities on learning process, therefore the design of valid and practical teaching aid and its implementation on electro pneumatic based automation course is presented in this paper. An electro pneumatic sorting machine with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based automation is designed as a teaching aid to existing teaching and learning process, and to achieve the learning outcomes towards enhancing the student’s knowledge and hands-on skill. The Development Research Method is applied to develop the existing electro pneumatic didactic trainer device. Validation stage is held to confirm that proposed teaching aid. Validator involves the expert lecturer on relevant field, meanwhile the practicality is measured by lecturer and students of course participants. Based on the survey, the respondents are strongly agree that 92,6 % and 94,8 % of proposed teaching aid are valid and practical respectively. Furthermore, the results claimed that using the proposed teaching aid there is improvement in the electro pneumatic course learning process. In Indonesia, high cost of tuition at private higher education is impunity for some students. A private higher education does not obtain any flow of funds from government and is required to self-financial-management by its foundation. Furthermore, students are reluctantly to study at private higher education and having lack of confidence because of the opaque data. The education system of private higher education is still not adopting the concept of openness data. Besides, Open Government Partnership (OGP) is a global partnership to make government more open, transparent, effective and accountable. Public disclosure can increase confidence towards government. Our case study is a district that pioneer of OGP implementation, Bojonegoro. Yet, this study is an initial research as well as to develop the research in assessment phase of the model and to align the system of government and education. The result showed that four media of OGP are possible to be applied at the level of university, which consist of public dialogue, the way of budgeting transparency, public aspirations through software, and radio broadcast that all are strongly affected by availability of the media and motivation of the stakeholders as crucial factors of the success of the strategy.
