The data emerging from Internet of Things (IoT) usually exhibits a wide variety and is big in terms of quantity, i.e., Big-Data. As a preprocessing step, clustering is a regular task in such systems and normally is done using evolutionary algorithms. In this paper, we propose a new automatic clustering algorithm based on Genetic Algorithm (GA), in which, it is NOT mandatory to know the number of clusters. The proposed algorithm uses a very short chromosome encoding and proposes relevant crossover and mutation operators that lead to a very good clustering performance. Our algorithm, uses an unsupervised learning paradigm to classify the data points into clusters. To demonstrate the performance of the proposed algorithm, it is evaluated with balanced/unbalanced real-world data containing 13-tuple data vectors, and also with a 1.000.000-sample artificially generated random data set. At either cases, our algorithm outperforms the other algorithms.

Device-to-device (D2D) communication has been introduced as a promising technology for the 5th generation (5G) of cellular networks. It has been defined as a connection between two user equipments (UEs) without traversing the base station. In this paper, a heterogeneous macro-femtocell network is considered with the presence of D2D UEs. It has been shown that network coding in cooperative communication can enhance the quality of service (QoS) in wireless communications. In this paper, we consider the random linear network coding (RLNC) in cooperative D2D communication, where relay nodes are selected from the set of femtocell base stations (FBSs). Since energy efficiency is an important issue in wireless communications, our aim is to select efficient relay node that maximizes the energy efficiency of network-coded D2D communication by taking the minimum data rate constraint into account. Simulation results demonstrate that RLNC achieves the better efficiency in comparison with direct D2D.

Due to the security and performance of the new distributed generation (DG) systems, a specialized diagnostic system is needed to detect different incidents. One of the vital requirements for the safe operation of distributed generation is the identification of islands. In this paper, a new method for detecting passive islands is proposed for the first time and tested under different network conditions with the help of Diffusion Oscillators. This method is designed to detect changes in the common coupling frequency point by identifying the transformation of the Duffing oscillator from a turbulent state to a large period of time and vice versa. We use the Duffing equation because it is widely used in the classical nonlinear system. The simulation results performed by the MATLAB / Simulink software are used to verify the performance of the proposed method. It has been shown that the proposed method has a very high accuracy with the minimum detection time, even in the presence of large ratios of noise to the signal.

Transient stability analysis plays an important role in providing performance constraints in power systems. The penetration of distributed generation leads to performance constraints on the overcurrent relay setting. This paper investigates the transient stability analysis of real distribution network with DGs penetration for the protection overcurrent relay setting. For this purpose, the transient stability of DG generators is studied by taking into account faults in different places of the power system. Then, the constraints of DG generators are considered in relay coordination protection. The case study is based on a real distribution network that consists of two generators with 4 MW capacity, and the simulation is performed in DIgSILENT software.

The exponential growth of the Internet and its users and the emergence of Web 2.0 have caused a large volume of textual data to be created. Automatic analysis of such data can be used in making decisions. As online text is created by different producers with different styles of writing, pre-processing is a necessity prior to any processes related to natural language tasks. An essential part of textual preprocessing prior to the recognition of the word vocabulary is normalization, which includes the correction of spaces that particularly in the Persian language this includes both full-spaces between words and half-spaces. Through the review of user comments within social media services, it can be seen that in many cases users do not adhere to grammatical rules of inserting both forms of spaces, which increases the complexity of the identification of words and henceforth, reducing the accuracy of further processing on the text. In this study, current issues in the normalization and tokenization of preprocessing tools within the Persian language and essentially identifying and correcting the separation of words are and the correction of spaces are proposed. The results obtained and compared to leading preprocessing tools highlight the significance of the proposed methodology.

In this paper, the spherical three-degree-of-freedom parallel manipulator has been called Agile Eye which is designed in MCS.ADMAS as an analysis software for defining the constraints and variables. Then, forward kinematic equations of the Agile Eye spherical parallel manipulator are obtained. After that, the block diagram of ADAMS is used for controlling the Agile Eye spherical parallel manipulator with MATLAB software. The input signals of the ADAMS block are controlled torque to the lower links afterward the angle lower links and the end effector position of the ADAMS block will be obtained. Controllers PD, PID, and Fuzzy-PID are designed for the Agile Eye Spherical Parallel Manipulator. Then, the outcomes which have been acquired from the controllers are looking at and the best execution which will be presented. The system responses of the Fuzzy PID controller with a path planning as input for each lower links is computed which is includes a comparison between the reference model and the system responses. Finally, the position of the End Effector will be obtained.

The accelerated trend of development in the areas of information and communications technology (ICT), as well as energy systems, has been led to emersion of a new concept called the internet of energy (IoE). This concept is classified as a subsector of the internet of things (IoT), which means the utilization of advanced digital controllers, sensors, actuators, and meters with the ability of information exchange through IT infrastructures. The phrase "internet", in this context, does not exclusively refer to the World Wide Web rather than any type of server-based or peer-to-peer network. These communicational tools are able to receive information for local analyze and control, receive analyzed commands, send raw data, or send instructions. The incorporation of IoT in power systems conveys a brilliant future for overcoming power system operation hurdles and environmental challenges, although it incurs a large capital investment portfolio initially. However, it is hoped that the evolution of current technologies and the advent of new technologies with economically affordable prices can help to increase the pervasiveness of these state-of-the-art technologies. IoE covers the entire energy scope such as thermal or electrical energies. However, in this study, the applications of IoE in power systems, as the central core of the energy ecosystem, will be addressed. At first, the basic terminology of this topic such as IoE, IoT, plug & play capability, smart energy, future networks, smart grid 2.0, energy 4.0, prosumers, AMI, API, digitalization, and grid edge are described to make the rest of paper more intelligible. Then the role of IoE in supply-side and demand-side of power systems encompassing renewable generation section, large-scale energy storage section, thermal power plant section, system operation and protection as well as execution of demand response programs (DRPs), microgrids, integration of plug-in electric vehicles with V2G capability, and end-user residential consumption management in smart buildings are explained. In this study, it is tried to outline a different classification of IoE in power systems which has not been drawn by previous similar works.

Today, given the huge amount of information, summarization has become one of the most applicable topics in data mining that can help users gain access to useful data over a short period of time. In this study, two multi-document extractive text Summarization systems are introduced. The major objective of this research is to use autoencoder neural network and deep belief network separately for scoring sentences in a document to compare their performances. Deep neural networks can improve the results by generating new features. The abovementioned systems were tested on DUC 2007 dataset and evaluated using ROUGE-1 and ROUGE-2 criteria. The results show a better performance of autoencoder network versus deep belief network. It is also possible to compare these values with results of other systems to realize the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Metamaterials are artificial structures that their constituent electromagnetic materials can be regulated by manipulating their structures. The unconventional properties of these materials such as permittivity and permeability coefficient and also the negative refractive index, have caused to Increase using the metamaterials in various fields such as microwave engineering. Metamaterial antennas are some kind of antennas that use metamaterials to increase the performance of small antenna systems (small electrical ones) as well as improve the radiation power of the antenna. In this paper, a microstrip antenna is designed using CST software at x-band applications and, then, improving the antenna performance like radiation pattern and directivity is demonstrated by utilization a specific metamaterial coverage.

Design and implementation of a compact dual-band antenna is presented in this paper. The antenna contains a triangular-shape patch fed through a microstrip line. A T-shape slot in conjunction with two Inverted-L shape slots contribute to improve impedance bandwidth and matching. For further improving the bandwidth, a defected ground plane has been used. The designed structure is a suitable choice for wireless communication systems based on size and provided impedance bandwidth. The designed dual-band slot antenna has a small size of 25×25mm2 and provides an impedance bandwidth between 3.6-4.5GHz and 5.4-6.9GHz, which are within the S and C bands, respectively. The design procedure of the suggested antenna is discussed in detail.
