This study aims to examine the parent-child relationship of the parents having primary education level students in the context of parents' cognitive flexibility level and emotion regulation skills. The participants of the research consist of parents who live in Kartal district of İstanbul and have students of primary education. The sample consists of 203 student's parents who have these characteristics. In the study, "personal information form", "parent-child relationship scale", "cognitive flexibility inventory" and "emotion regulation difficulty scale" were used for parents. In this study, the relational survey model which is one of the quantitative research types was used. As a result of the research it was determined that the level of positive parent-child relationship is high, the level of negative parent-child relationship is low, the level of emotion regulation difficulty of the parents is low, the level of cognitive flexibility is high. It was also determined that the level of cognitive flexibility showed significant differences according to the number of children, and parents with one child had a higher level of cognitive flexibility than parents with more than one child. In addition, it was determined that the negative parent-child relationship showed significant differences according to education level, and the level of negative parent-child relationship was higher in parents who graduated from higher education compared to parents who graduated from high school. At the same time, a positive relationship was determined between the level of cognitive flexibility in the parents and the positive parent-child relationship, and a negative relationship between the negative parent-child relationship was determined. Finally, it was determined that there is a negative correlation between the level of emotion regulation difficulty and positive parent-child relationships and a significant positive correlation between negative parent-child relationships.

The need for green space is increasing in cities that are growing and becoming concrete piles. People are constantly looking for green spaces to rest. However, due to the increasing population, green or garden areas are leaving their places to zoning areas. In Nigde, with the increase in population, green and garden areas are leaving their places to multi-storey buildings. For this reason, the Bor road, where the buildings increase in Nigde, was chosen as the research area. The spaces opened to zoning areas have increased after the 2000s. In our research, the change that took place after 2000 was examined. As of 2001, garden areas have been started to be evaluated as zoning areas. In order to determine the changes in the areas opened for development, the changes between the years 2009-2019 were digitized with Google Earth images, and the areas were digitized with the ArcGIS 10.2 program after examining it with Global Mapper and suggestions were developed for the future situation. Land use plays an important role because of the past, present and future concerns about the province of Nigde. In our study, it is aimed to examine the land use situation of the ongoing urbanization between Nigde and Bor, where urbanization is intense, and to determine the land use of the past period. Our aim is to determine the positive and negative changes that occurred in the agricultural areas in the research area in 2009-2019 and to develop solutions for increasing green areas in order to provide a better environment for people.

The phase after the Ubaid Period in Mesopotamia is called the Uruk Period. This culture coincides with the Chalcolithic Period of Eastern Anatolia. During the Uruk Period, Mesopotamia developed agriculturally. However, due to its insufficiency in terms of natural resources such as minerals and timber, they established a trade strategy centered on Eastern Anatolia, especially in the 4th millennium BC. One of the most important evidences of this trade system is seals. Made of various materials such as stone, metal, wood, glass, bone, faience and clay, seals can be of various types including stamp, cylinder and stamp-cylinder. Seals with functions such as ornamentation, protection from evil forces, confirmation and security were unearthed at Çatalhöyük in the Neolithic Period in Anatolia. Seals from the Uruk Period were also found in centers such as Elazığ-Norşuntepe and Çınaz Höyük and Malatya-Arslantepe in the Eastern Anatolia Region. While the seals of Elazığ-Norşuntepe and Çınaz Höyük consist of stamp seals, Malatya-Arslantepe has cylinder seals as well as stamp seals. The stamp seals found at Norşuntepe and Çınaz Höyük are predominantly round stamps, but there are also square stamps. Geometric motifs and stylized animal figures were used as decoration elements. They usually have round rope holes on the back. The stamp seals from Malatya-Arslantepe are round in shape. Geometric motifs and stylized depictions of humans, snakes, rams, deer and mixed creatures are found on this type of seals. In addition to stamp seals, there are also cylinder seals at Arslantepe. This type of seals mostly depict agricultural activities. They depict people plowing fields with oxen pulling the plow. Although the seals found in the mentioned centers are similar in form, they show some differences in terms of decoration. However, it is possible to say that all the examples are influenced by the seals of the Uruk Period in terms of decoration and subject matter.

In recent years, machine learning applications are being used in almost all areas of lives. The main benefits of using machine learning in marketing can be exemplified as follows; content creation, marketing budget optimization and recommendation systems. Recommendation systems are very important and useful when it comes to retaining the current customer. With the help of recommendation systems, companies can retain their customers by recommending their own products, services and contents. In this study, text mining, forecasting processes were carried out using the Netflix contents dataset shared by the data science platform called Kaggle. TfidVectorizer function was used to deal with text data while creating recommendation systems. Two different recommendation systems functions were created in this study. While first recommendation system function performs only based on title feature of the Netflix contents dataset, the second recommendation system function performs with title, director, cast, listed_in and description features. Thanks to the results of the analysis, it is possible to evaluate the new productions on Netflix on the basis of the features of Netflix contents dataset included in the study. The proposed recommendation system functions provide greater prediction accuracy than conventional systems in data mining. Espicially the recommendation system function that has been developed secondly with the name “get_recommendation_new” uses all features in Netflix contents dataset to recommend new contents to the users.

Architectural Design is a process that creates products that are perceived by sensory experience and appeal to the senses of the designer and the user, therefore, it is essential to include the senses in architectural education. In recent years, it has been discussed that design appeals to all senses and their sensory scale. For this reason, a sensory experience was planned within the scope of the Interior Reinforcement Relation course, and experimental processes were carried. In this study, students' perceptions of the city and its urban meaning were examined through visual sensory perspectives, and it was aimed to construct the relationship between architectural education and visual experience. The method of the research is a process that integrates visual perception and meaning by creating perspectives with serial visions. Students were given two shopping centers in Adana and were asked to photograph these places. Each stopping point is defined with a perspective and named with concepts that characterize students' perceptions. Consequently, it has been seen that the inclusion of sensory experiences in education contributes to the design education process by making students more sensitive to their environment, and the education process can be enriched by including different senses in architectural design education.

Career includes a process from birth to death. There are many factors that affect the shaping of this process. The aim of this study is to examine some descriptive factors and family-related variables that affect the career anxiety of science high school students. The study group consists of 267 students from the first, second and third grades studying at Samsun Science High School. The findings obtained as a result of the study show that the career anxiety levels of female students are higher than that of males. At the same time, family interventions on students' career choices were found to have a partial effect on students' career anxiety. The reason for this is that there are many social and economic factors other than family that increase career anxiety.

The research method used in this study is literature review, and the scope of the study is based on articles, theses, and books published in the literature related to transportation education. Document analysis was used as the data collection tool. During the data collection process, articles and theses published in the literature related to the research problem and sub-problems were searched online, and books related to the topic were examined. The data obtained from the documents were organized as the problems encountered by administrators, teachers, students, and parents in schools where transportation education is provided, and these data were compared by correlating them. Based on the data obtained during the research, it was found that the problems encountered by administrators include transportation services, meal services provided to students, and the extra workload imposed by the system. Teachers within the education system can face many difficulties, including heavy duties such as shift work, extra workload imposed by the system, and communication problems with parents. Students can also experience problems related to transportation services and meal services provided. Particularly in schools providing transportation education, parents may face difficulties in terms of distance from their homes to the schools and the lack of transportation opportunities for some parents.","PeriodicalId":353952,"journal":{"name":"SOCIAL SCIENCE DEVELOPMENT JOURNAL","volume":"16 4","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134127098","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
While the common ground of art and popular culture products is human creativity, popular culture products, as the name suggests, are the products of the people. But it is possible that the productions that the public will like, turn into mass culture today, where the economic determinant is dominant. However, regardless of its basic motivation, it is possible to say that every work that contains the core of creativity has a relationship with the unconscious, which is the field of creativity. What can we see by considering movies with an analytical psychology approach? What do these productions, which contain elements from myths, fairy tales and dreams, tell us from the field of the unconscious?The Matrix series has managed to impress the audience since the first movie was released and attracted the attention of many researchers from different fields. In this study, the relationship of cinema with myth, dream, and fairy tale is evaluated from a psychoanalytic perspective, and the Matrix series and especially the last film of the series, The Matrix Resurrections (Lena Wachovski, 2021), is tried to be examined with the guidance of Carl Gustav Jung, the founder of analytical psychology. The film, which opens up many fields of inquiry with its approach to reality, is this time handled with an approach from the field of inner reality. For this reason, this study tries to look at the elements of the film, which can be associated with popular culture and the culture industry, from the field of the unconscious. For this purpose, Jung's approach based on myths, dreams and ancient beliefs that he examined in order to understand the unconscious of man is used.
