So far, many different views and thoughts have been put forward regarding the concepts of Alevi and Alevism. The reason for the diversity here is based on the difference between the places where it is used over time. One of the main factors causing confusion is the claim that Alevism is a sect that broke away from Shia and continues to exist in Anatolia. Because everyone who feels a wholehearted devotion to Ali and is a supporter is given the name "Alevi". Therefore, the first use of Alevism as a dedication refers to a politically specific and large community. From this point of view, Shia and Alevism are used in the same sense. Although the concepts of Alevi and Shia are used in the same sense as an expression, over time they cease to carry only a political argument and they also come to contain theological arguments. This forms the basis of the birth of Shia as the first pro-Ali sect in history. The views developed by Shia over time are based on religious-political foundations. As for the term Alevism, the nomadic Turks' adoption of Islam by blending it with their old beliefs and cultures paved the way for the birth of a heterodox Turkish Islam. However, after the Safavid propagandas, which formed the point of interaction with the Shia, Shiite motifs were permanently embedded in this heterodox Turkish belief and created today's Alevism. However, it should not be forgotten that Alevism, as a mystical-mystical structure, does not accept the religious motifs it received from Shia. Because they interpreted the motifs they took from Shia in their own way. In this study, first of all, the emergence of the concept of Alevi and its usage area will be discussed. Then, in order to show that they have separate political histories, their emergence adventures and their places in history will be briefly explained. Finally, the aspects of Alevism and Shia that are associated with each other will be given in general terms without elaborating.

The presence of an entrepreneurial person in a society is one of the most important production factors in the creation of socioeconomic value and social development. Entrepreneurship education, which aims to provide students with the skills necessary to be successful primarily in social life and then in business life, has also become an indispensable and powerful part of today's curriculum. The importance of entrepreneurship education will be better understood when Türkiye ’s historical background, current situation, young and dynamic population, potential that is open and ready to develop, and its social needs are considered. Institutions and organizations that focus on these common concerns and the understanding that all students can become entrepreneurs in the future conduct various studies in the field of entrepreneurship skills and entrepreneurship education. In this study, entrepreneurship skills, which are considered as an integrated social sciences field skill, and entrepreneurship education are discussed within the scope of contemporary curricula. The current situation analysis on the subject is made, and suggestions for improvement are presented for decision-makers and practitioners based on the data obtained. According to the results of this research in which the studies on entrepreneurship education were examined through open sources; many institutions related to entrepreneurship education perform repetitive studies that do not show an equal spread and intensity throughout the country. Based on the results of this study and the importance of entrepreneurship and the opportunities it offers, it is recommended to perform planned studies that are original in terms of purpose, scope, and content.

The main purpose of this study is to examine the differences in the levels of aggression in sports spectators according to gender, age, marital status, educational status, income status, with whom they prefer to watch the competition, sports playing status, weekly sports frequency, how many years they have been doing sports and sports type variables. The study was conducted using the general survey model from quantitative research methods. The population of the study consists of spectators residing in Mersin/Tarsus region in 2023, and the sample consists of 300 voluntary sports spectators selected from these spectators. As a data collection tool, a 10-question personal information form revealing personal information and the "Buss-Perry Aggression Scale" developed by Buss and Perry (1992) and adapted into Turkish by Demirtaş Madran (2013) and validity and reliability studies were used. The research is a descriptive research and while the survey results were evaluated in the SPSS package program, significance was sought at 95% confidence interval and p<0.05 level. Skewness-Kurtosis (Skewness and Kurtosis) values regarding the distribution of the data were analyzed. Independent Sample T-Test was used in the analysis of paired groups and One-Way Anova Test was used in the analysis of groups with more than two variables. LSD (Least Significant Difference), one of the Post Hoc tests, was used to determine which groups were statistically different. As a result of the research, significant differences were observed among the sports spectators in Tarsus district in the variables of gender, age, marital status, educational status, income level, with whom they watched the competition, and how many years they have been doing sports (p<0.05). However, no statistically significant difference was found according to the variables of sporting status and sporting frequency.

This systematic review undertakes a comprehensive examination of the issue of equity and inclusion within the domain of remote education, a domain accentuated by the exigencies of the global COVID-19 pandemic. Through a meticulous analysis of extant scholarly literature, the present study unveils pronounced disparities in access to remote educational resources, delineating determinants that encompass socioeconomic strata and degrees of digital literacy. An integral facet of this exploration involves an in-depth inquiry into the manifold ramifications of these inequities upon historically marginalized demographics, with particular regard to the intricate interplay of variables such as ethnicity, gender, and disability. The review proceeds to elucidate efficacious interventions, strategies, and policy paradigms that have been promulgated to ameliorate these prevailing disparities. By elucidating instances of pedagogical innovation and institutional reform, this study proffers an invaluable compendium of insights tailored for the enrichment of educators and policymakers alike. In proffering a nuanced investigation at the nexus of technology-mediated education and the imperatives of social equity, this systematic review emerges as a critical instrument that augments the ongoing discourse encompassing the evolution of remote learning modalities, underpinned by an imperative commitment to principles of inclusivity and justice.

Throughout our lives, as we communicate, we constantly learn new and different concepts. We then try to mentally concretize these concepts. If this process is carried out by drawing similarities with the knowledge we already possess, it progresses smoothly. However, if we attempt to associate them with concepts we are unfamiliar with, this process can be challenging and exhausting. This research was conducted to reveal the perceptions of undergraduate university students regarding the concept of "Landscape Architecture" through the use of metaphors. A total of 213 students from 14 different undergraduate departments participated in the study. The aim of the research is to uncover the perceptions of undergraduate university students regarding the profession of "Landscape Architecture" through metaphors. In this study, the phenomenological design, a qualitative research method, was used. Through a form containing questions for undergraduate students, they were asked to complete statements like "Landscape Architecture means ............ to me. Because .........." The content analysis technique was employed for analyzing the collected data. As a result of the research, participating university students generated 75 metaphors for the profession of "Landscape Architecture." These metaphors were grouped considering common attributes, yielding 9 main metaphors. The predominant perception of landscape architecture among university students from different departments emphasized themes of nature and design.

Emotional intelligence, self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intention are significant factors that shape entrepreneurs’ success and performance. In this study, the connection between these concepts was examined, and additionally, the mediating role of self-efficacy in the relationship between emotional intelligence and entrepreneurial intention was analyzed. Within the scope of the research, data were collected through a questionnaire method from a total of 375 undergraduate students studying in different departments and classes at Gebze Technical University. In addition to demographic and descriptive questions, scales derived from the literature were utilized in the created questionnaire. The SPSS software package was employed for the analysis of the collected data (reliability, factor, regression). The findings demonstrated that both emotional intelligence and self-efficacy have a positive impact on entrepreneurial intention. Furthermore, the study revealed that self-efficacy plays a mediating role in the relationship between emotional intelligence and entrepreneurial intention. This study aims to emphasize the significance of emotional intelligence and self-efficacy in shaping the entrepreneurial intention of university students and to contribute to the relevant literature in the field.

Within the scope of the research, data were collected through a questionnaire method from a total of 375 undergraduate students studying in different departments and classes at Gebze Technical University. In addition to demographic and descriptive questions, scales derived from the literature were utilized in the created questionnaire. The SPSS software package was employed for the analysis of the collected data (reliability, factor, regression). The findings demonstrated that both emotional intelligence and self-efficacy have a positive impact on entrepreneurial intention. Furthermore, the study revealed that self-efficacy plays a mediating role in the relationship between emotional intelligence and entrepreneurial intention. This study aims to emphasize the significance of emotional intelligence and self-efficacy in shaping the entrepreneurial intention of university students and to contribute to the relevant literature in the field.","PeriodicalId":353952,"journal":{"name":"SOCIAL SCIENCE DEVELOPMENT JOURNAL","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135438268","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
Neoliberalism is an economic system that advocates the spread of the free market idea, private enterprise, separation from the public, production, consumption and trade independence. The tendency of advanced capitalist countries to search for different production styles and places where they can produce under cheap conditions has led to the existence of neoliberal policies. With the neoliberal economic method, individual initiatives are given priority, and individual economic activities can exist within the theoretical line created by free economic activities. Neoliberalism first emerged in the 1970s with the aim of determining the social structure in parallel with economic developments in a way that would serve the interests of capital. Neoliberal policies, which adopt the approach that it is impossible to ensure the continuity of the social state understanding, also have reflections on the field of education. In this direction, primarily in order to provide the philosophical understanding of the system, educational institutions have been adapted to market conditions and individuals who can adapt to the system have been trained. With the adaptation plans carried out by the World Bank and the IMF in the 1980s, neoliberal policies are beginning to be reflected in the field of education. In this process, first of all, the content of the education is designed in line with the needs of the system, then the changes related to the economic resource of the education are determined and finally the infrastructure arrangements are made. In line with neoliberal policies, the priority in the regulations regarding the field of education is to provide the education of individuals with the necessary knowledge and ability to act in line with the demands of the market. The materials to be used in education are also determined by the needs of the market. Neoliberal education policies, which determine the basic approach centered on human capital, aim to train manpower who can work from every education level in a market-centered manner. With the neoliberal transformations in education, the value of standardized knowledge leaves its place to standardized success. Thus, education turns into a profit-oriented commercial institution within the free market mechanism, equality of opportunity in education becomes impossible, polarization becomes inevitable and the social structure moves away from democracy. Evaluation of the changes that exist in all processes of education is important in terms of the integrity and existence of the social structure. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the reflections of neoliberal policies on education, which is an important instrument of social and individual regeneration, and on the Turkish Education System.
