To the actual date, computer vision and neural network data analysis are actively developing and finding more and more applications in the industrial control engineering. These technologies are now used to deal with important problems that previously could not be solved without the help of a human as an operator. This study is devoted to the selection and configuration of a convolutional neural network for recognizing unsuitable marble samples on a conveyor belt, as well as creating an application for defining the position of these objects. Software for the classification of marble stones based on the YOLOv5 neural network model has been developed. The value of the precision and recall metric in the final experiment reached 0.957 and 0.947, respectively.

Current paper proposes the research of hardware optimized half-band filters exploitation as low-pass filters in a resampling scheme. Filters hardware optimization is implemented by the quantization algorithm, which allows to replace multipliers with the set of shift registers and adders. This approach provides reduction of a crystal area and power consumption. Also, current work proposes the research of the influence of hardware optimized filters difference from initial filters on the resampling scheme performance. In addition hardware complexity-reduced filters resources compared with the initial filters characteristics. The proposed method can provide acceptable error level (-60 dB) and reduce complexity up to 70%.

This article is devoted to the study of hydrogen energy industry in the Russian Federation and the prospects for the application of methane-hydrogen fuel in boilers using the mathematical model developed at Aspen Plus. Analysis of the effect of adding hydrogen to gas fuel for boilers is performed. Due to the mathematical model, the dynamics of changes in the content of CO2 and NOx in the exhaust gases after the boiler are analyzed, corresponding dependencies and graphs are designed. The basic principles of modeling in the Aspen Plus environment are shown.

This paper is devoted to studying effects of digital control systems implementation in the electric power industry infrastructure for synchronized operation of power electronics devices. The problems of designing this type of digital infrastructure to realize synchronous control of power electronics semiconductor devices within a single power system are described. The main kinds of power electronics devices that can function in one electric power complex are studied. The operation principle of main kinds of semiconductor power devices, their technical parameters, and an effect on an electrical network are investigated. The concept of a digital control system for energy infrastructure operation is proposed. Structure, functions, and operation algorithms of such kind of digital control system are considered. A computer model of an electric power system consisting of several power electronics devices is realized in MATLAB Simulink. In addition, a digital infrastructure prototype (console software) to control this model is created.

Recent events in the world have shown the unprofitability of implementing projects of large-capacity liquefied natural gas (LNG) plants. Relatively small investments in low-tonnage production are more attractive for investors due to the shorter construction period and payback period. To date, various models of LNG production projects are being implemented in Russia, most of them are integrated, including gas extraction, due to which they are competitively stable. This paper provides a solution to the issue of delivery of liquefied natural gas using a logistic model that connects the LNG production plant and end-users of gas, taking into account the geometric and functional characteristics of vehicles, existing transport interchanges, the characteristics of the population of territories, the required volumes of gas consumption and other determining factors. As an example of the operability of the proposed model, the optimal distance of gas transportation is substantiated by calculation using the example of one of the regions of the Russian Federation. Depending on the annual gas consumption, the critical radius varies within a sufficiently large range — from 40 to 150 km. According to the algorithm presented in the article, cost cutting can amount to about $ 1,538 million/year.

The present paper proposes the concept of a software and technological platform of digital twins based on the methods of energodynamics. Energodynamic theory, which incorporates modern nonequilibrium thermodynamics, mechanics, theory of electric and magnetic fields, electrodynamics, is a unified approach to describe processes of different physical and chemical nature within a macroscopic approach. This provides an opportunity to use the proposed software and technological platform of digital twins in various subject areas (in particular, in engineering and technology, in medicine, in meteorology, in life safety). The proposed in this paper software and technological platform of digital twins, based on the methods of energy dynamics, has a microservice architecture. Such architecture ensures high reliability of the platform, as well as its horizontal scalability. This makes it possible to build digital twins of sufficiently complex systems in the presence of a sufficient number of computational nodes.

In this paper, a reactor is created for the preparation of amorphous diamond-like silicon-carbon films by the plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition method at electric field frequencies from 100 kHz to 2 MHz and substrate-holder bias voltages from 100 to 2000 V. Silicon-carbon films is prepared in this electric field frequency range and a study was carried out their chemical composition, surface morphology, electrical and mechanical properties. The existing results are shown that the variation of the electric field frequency during the plasma-chemical decomposition of the precursor is an effective method for controlling the properties of silicon-carbon films at a constant chemical and phase composition of the material. The frequency ranges of the electric field are determined, which provide the maximum and minimum changes in the properties of the prepared films.

This paper presents calculations of the thermodynamic functions (enthalpy, entropy, Gibbs energy) for hydrocarbon fuel reactions occurring in the reformer of a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) power plant. More than forty possible chemical interactions between hydrogen, carbon, oxygen, hydrocarbons, carbon dioxide, water and carbon monoxide were analyzed. During the reforming of complex hydrocarbons, unsaturated hydrocarbons are converted into saturated ones, then split to lower hydrocarbons (up to methane) due to interaction with hydrogen. During the reforming process, soot formation reactions from carbon monoxide and methane can occur. In the temperature range of 600 – 1000°С, reactions of steam interaction with higher hydrocarbons and methane are possible. The efficiency and consumption of hydrocarbons for the SOFC with a reformer on various types of fuel were also calculated. Complex hydrocarbon fuels may require the use of external and internal reforming for more complete processing in the SOFC. Reforming of natural gas and gaseous wastes from petrochemical industries shows sufficiently high efficiency and requires low fuel consumption.

In this paper, a recent soft computing approach of fruit fly optimization technique (FFOT) based tilt-integral-derivative plus filter (TIDN) regulator is enforced to attain the frequency stabilization in the two-area conventional power system (TACPS). The TACPS integrates the Hydro-thermal units in each area and carried out the dynamical analysis for 10% step load disturbance (SLD) in area-1. The supremacy of the adopted FFOT is demonstrated with other approaches of moth flame optimization (MFO) and flower pollination algorithm (FPA). The TACPS is considered with the communication time delays (CTDs) as the realistic constraint to conduct the system dynamic analysis close to practical nature. Further, the TACPS is integrated with the plugin electric vehicles (PEVs) in area-1 to attain the enhancement in system dynamic performance.

The paper considers the production of bimetallic copper-steel structures with the addition of lead for the formation of functional coatings and the manufacture of parts with high tribological properties and wear resistance by laser direct metal deposition method. Metallographic analysis of the structure of the grown samples has been carried out and a number of features of its formation depending on the quantitative ratio of dissimilar metals in the powder composition has been revealed. The possibility of obtaining alloys of immiscible components with uniform distribution of structural components in the volume by coaxial laser melting has been shown.
