Palabras clave: decision lexica, pseudohomofonos, espanol, lectura Abstract: The models of word’s recognition present divergences about whether the phonological activation is automatic in the silent reading or if it is a post-lexical-semantic access processing. The effect of pseudohomophony has been analyzed repeatedly in different languages to study the degree of phonological mediation. However, there are few studies carried out in Spanish. The aim of the present work was to investigate the effect of pseudohomophony in a visual lexical decision task (both in the analysis of the reaction times and the error rate) in which, for the first time in Spanish (variety of Rio de la Plata), the lexical and sub-lexical variables of the stimuli have been exhaustively controlled. We found an effect of pseudohomophony in the analysis of the error rate but not in the analysis of reaction times. The latter would contribute to a non-automatic participation of phonological processes in the recognition of words. Keywords: lexical decision, pseudohomophones, Spanish, reading
The aim of The目前work was to调查The effect of pseudohomophony in a visual task (lexical决定both in The analysis of The反应times and The error rate) in which, for The first time in [(variety of Rio de la Plata), The lexical and sub-lexical of The stimuli have been exhaustively控制变量。

Our aim in this paper is to compare different word formation processes, especially those of derivation and compounding that take place in Maka and Wichi, both languages of the Mataguayan family. Although it has been established that there is a closer relation between Chorote and Maka, on one hand; and Wichi and Nivacle on the other hand (Tovar 1964a y b), we propose that these two languages have more aspects in common and that this can help to study grammaticalization processes. To achieve this goal, we use a functional-typological approach that encompasses structural description as well as interlinguistic comparison. The research carried out for this paper is descriptive-documental. Keywords: morphology, word formation, Chaco languages, grammatic.

Palabras clave: uno, generalizacion, ocultamiento, sociolecto alto y bajo, impersonalizacion, PRESEEA-Sevilla Abstract: The aim of this study is to describe the use of uno as an impersonalization strategy in a sample of 48 oral interviews of high and low sociolect, taken from the Corpus PRESEEA-Seville. This pronoun presents in the context different semantic values such as inclusive generalization, exclusive generalization and concealment, with the purpose of protecting the speaker’s image, criticizing or searching for approval and social acceptation. Furthermore, these different shapes or impersonalization are associated with syntactic factors (verb semantic class), pragmatic (theme, discourse sequence), stylistic (the relationship between the participants joining the conversation) and, to a lesser extent, with the social aspects (gender, age and educational level). Keyword: uno, high and low sociolect, generalization, concealment, impersonalization, PRESEEA-Seville.

Palabras claves: poesia chilena, paisaje, Raul Zurita Abstract: The article contextualizes the fundamental meaning of Raul Zurita’s Canto a su amor desaparecido (1985) in the transformations of landscape representations and the inhabiting poetics in Chilean poetry. The aim is to demonstrate that Zurita´s work radically changes the poetization of countries (as territories) and landscapes. Thus a new paradigm for the culture of landscapes and nations arises. To demonstrate the rise of this paradigmatic change, the following aspects will be analyzed: the materiality and circulation of the book, the apparent disappearance of countries, the fall and surge of the poetic chant, and the amorous dialogue and the replacement of the inhabiting poetics for a new idea of landscape. This landscape grows as a method to face horror, violence, and the altered perception caused by the cruel acts committed by the Chilean military dictatorship, especially those regarding the detained and missing. Keywords: Chilean poetry, landscape, Raul Zurita.

Abstract: This research originates from the purpose of studying the possibilities of using humorous genres, such as parody, in the Spanish as a Second Language classroom. Bearing in mind that humour is an enhancing tool for developing linguistic and sociocultural competences in non-native Spanish learners, a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the data collected in 71 learners will lead us to ascertain the viability of using this type of genre. Furthermore, we aim to shed light on factors that affect the recognition, understanding and appreciation processes, with a focus on variables such as the degree of language immersion, the length of residence in Spain, the language level, and the learner’s gender and age. Keywords: verbal humour, Spanish as L2, parody, humour competence, linguistic immersion.

Abstract: This investigation delves into the sociopragmatic behavior of the mitigation resources found in the ‘orientation’ of oral personal narrations. It is based on 90 narrations, of which 36 were individual and 54 were co-constructed (or conversational), of Santiago de Chile speakers, stratified by sex and socioeconomic segment. The main findings of this study show that the mitigation resources found in the ‘orientation’ of oral personal narrations correspond to ‘defocalizers’. Furthermore, it was concluded that the aforementioned resources are more frequent in individual narrations rather than in conversational narrations. It was also observed that females are the ones that employ mitigation resources the most in stories narrated individually. Finally, it was also concluded that the use of these resources increases just as the socioeconomic segment of the speakers rises. Keywords: oral narrations of personal experiences, extrathematic orientation, mitigation resources, defocalizers.

\u0000 \u0000 \u0000Abstract: \u0000This investigation delves into the sociopragmatic behavior of the mitigation resources found in the ‘orientation’ of oral personal narrations.
