: This investigation presents an acoustic analysis of the vowel duration of the Vananga Rapa Nui language spoken by bilingual adults from Easter Island. Specifically, it was sought to characterize the duration of the vowels, establish the average duration and determine statistical importance starting from the data. This work considered a quantitative approach of descriptive nature. A lexical list of 195 items was applied to seven collaborators. The Praat program was used for acoustic processing, and SPSS was used for statistical processing. Among the results, the average duration of the short and long vowels of the tongue stands out, as expected, the long vowels have a longer duration; however, in most cases there are no statistically significant differences considering the variable tonicity. This

Resumen: Este estudio revisa diez trabajos desarrollados en el area de la comunicacion no verbal llevados a cabo en los ultimos cinco anos desde el comienzo de nuestra investigacion doctoral en el ano 2017. Para tal fin, se delimitan las tendencias tematicas de los trabajos, los objetivos de estudio y las metodologias que se aplican. Las conclusiones de la revision se recogen en el apartado de Convergencias y divergencias en el que, entre otros resultados, se evidencia la predominante presencia de los analisis quinesicos sobre el resto de los sistemas no verbales, el marcado caracter interdisciplinar de los estudios, o la interdependencia relacional entre el codigo verbal y el contexto de la interaccion comunicativa. Abstract: This study reviews ten of the last investigations developed in the area of non-verbal communication in the last five years since the beginning of our doctoral research in 2017. In order to reach this target, this analyze delimits trends in studies on non-verbal communication, their studies objectives and their methodologies. The conclusions of this study are included in section Convergences and Divergences in which, among other results, the predominant role of the kinetic analysis over the rest of the nonverbal systems, the deeper interdisciplinary nature of the nonverbal studies or their relational interdependence are evidenced between the verbal code and the context of the communicative interaction

Resumen: Este articulo estudia los relatos Mas Afuera (1930) de Eugenio Gonzalez y Los tragicos dias en Mas Afuera (1931) de Roberto Meza, testimonios de dos escritores prisioneros durante la dictadura de Carlos Ibanez del Campo (1927-1931). El foco del analisis esta puesto en las estrategias de resistencia que desplegaron los condenados en la isla Mas Afuera para contrarrestar los efectos negativos asociados a su cautiverio. Analizaremos, en suma, las acciones individuales y colectivas que contribuyeron a preservar la integridad fisica y moral de quienes permanecieron confinados en un espacio de degradacion y de horror. Abstract: This article studies the stories Mas Afuera (1930) by Eugenio Gonzalez and Los tragicos dias en Mas Afuera. (1931) by Roberto Meza, the testimonies of two writers during the dictatorship of Carlos Ibanez del Campo (1927-1931). The analysis focal point is concentrated on the resistance strategies that the prisoners on the island Mas Afuera deployed in order to counteract the negative effects associated with their captivity. Therefore, we will analyse the individual and collective actions which contributed to preserve the physical and moral integrity of those who stayed confined in such a horrible and humiliating place.

Resumen: El presente articulo pretende aclarar el panorama de los generos dramaticos existentes en Espana en los anos de la Ilustracion, y establecer la diferencia entre los generos, los subgeneros y las denominaciones que por entonces circulaban en el panorama teatral y cultural del momento. Se procura aclarar la evolucion observable en ese panorama literario, el momento en el que aparece cada genero, el momento en que se produce su desaparicion. Se traza la trayectoria de los generos dramaticos a lo largo de todo el siglo XVIII, indicando, y describiendo, las etapas evolutivas que en ella se pueden detectar, y destacando las diferencias entre todas. Abstract: This article aims to clarify the panorama of the dramatic genres existing in Spain in the years of the Enlightenment, and to establish the difference between the genres, sub-genres and denominations that were circulating in the theatrical and cultural scene at the time. It seeks to clarify the observable evolution in this literary panorama, the moment at which each genre appears and the moment at which its disappearance occurs. The trajectory of the dramatic genres throughout the 18th century is traced, indicating, and describing, the evolutionary stages that can be detected in it, and highlighting the differences between all of them.

Sin embargo, poco se sabe acerca de los participantes de las instancias de aprendizaje. El proposito de este articulo es indagar en el perfil de las y los estudiantes de dos internados linguisticos realizados durante el verano de 2020 por la organizacion Mapuzuguletuain, Instituto Nacional de la Lengua Mapuche. Para ello se uso un cuestionario que permitio describir un perfil del estudiante, segun territorio de procedencia, edad, nivel educativo y trayectorias de participacion. Este perfil se caracteriza como adultos con estudios universitarios completos, que se auto-identifican de nacionalidad mapuche y que muestran una trayectoria de participacion constante y reiterativa dentro de una misma organizacion. This need has been addressed by autonomous organizations that manage language immersion programmes. Little is known about who takes part in these learning experiences. This article aims at investigating the profile of the participants in two language immersion courses during the summer of 2020 organized by Mapuzuguletuain, the National Institute of the Mapuche language. A questionnaire was applied in order to identify the place of origin, age, educational level and participation backgrounds. Results show that most of the participants are adults with completed university degrees, who self-identify as Mapuche nationals, and who show a constant and recurrent participation in the same organization.
