with the purpose of accounting for the dimensions of displacement and the sociolinguistic factors to which these studies give greater attention. To achieve this task, a theoretical discussion is proposed on the phenomenon of sociolinguistic displacement, the dimensions and the factors that activate it, then, with the help of the Atlas.ti program, various propositions and textual units containing categories and subcategories are classified. These propositions and textual units integrate different dimensions of displacement and of the sociolinguistic processes that the language goes through. The study concludes with some reflections referring to the gaps around the sociolinguistic study of Mapudungun in the context of the processes of maintenance and/or displacement.

¿Los libros impresos son algo del pasado? ¿Cuál es el efecto de ofrecer tablets a los estudiantes en las escuelas de primaria y secundaria? ¿Cómo los lectores evalúan la fiabilidad de la información que encuentran en el internet? ¿Cómo construyen sentido a partir de fuentes múltiples (y muchas veces contradictorias)? Estas son algunas de las cuestiones que profesor Ladislao Salmerón y su grupo tienen perseguido en la última década. Ladislao Salmerón es catedrático de Psicología de la Educación en la Universidad de Valéncia (España) e investigador de la Estructura de Recerca en Lectura (ERI Lectura – Valéncia). Durante su período de grado, profesor Salmerón fue becario del programa Fulbright en el Instituto de Ciencia Cognitiva (Institute of Cognitive Science) de la Universidad de Colorado – Boulder (Estados Unidos), tiendo publicado con el reconocido profesor Walter Kintsch. En esta entrevista, hemos discutido aspectos fundamentales de la investigación en lectura digital y también algunos de los estudios más recientes y relevantes de profesor Salmerón en su campo de experiencia.
