Se realizó un estudio observacional, descriptivo y transversal a través de un cuestionario virtual a estudiantes de Medicina de la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas Manuel Fajardo, La Habana, Cuba; en el periodo comprendido entre los meses de mayo – julio de 2023. Se estudió una muestra de 50 estudiantes. Se empleó la prueba de Chi – Cuadrado para identificar asociaciones entre variables cualitativas ordinales. El 52% de los estudiantes consideraba que la neurología es un campo difícil. Predominó un nivel medio de seguridad (más o menos seguro de sí mismo) en el momento de la atención a pacientes neurológicos (52%). La mayoría de los estudiantes considera que tiene un buen nivel de conocimientos sobre neurología (42%). El 38 % de los estudiantes han atendido a pacientes con afecciones neurológicas en muy pocas ocasiones. El 86 % de los estudiantes no ha realizado investigaciones en el área de la neurología. Múltiples estudios se han llevado a cabo en diferentes países corroborando la existencia de neurofobia en estudiantes de Medicina, los cuales guardan cierta correspondencia con los resultados obtenidos. Se puede concluir, que la frecuencia de neurofobia en los alumnos es baja en comparación a lo reportado a nivel mundial.

The aim of the article is to arrange and analyse the possibilities of using artificial intelligence (AI) in the development of research competence of future doctors of philosophy (PhDs). The research employed the method of a pedagogical controlled experiment, the method of expert evaluations, and questionnaire survey. The obtained data were analysed through the Student’s t-test and the correlation analysis. Validity and reliability were determined using Cronbach’s alpha. The conducted questionnaire survey gave grounds to study the level of the research competence of future PhDs at the beginning and at the end of the experiment. The study included control and experimental groups, as well as expert evaluation. At the initial stage of the study, certain differences were found between the control group (CG) and experimental group (EG) in terms of research competence. Later, the experimental group showed significant growth in all components of competence, which emphasizes the positive impact of using artificial intelligence in the educational process. The results of the correlation analysis confirm the relationship between the components of research competence in both groups. The results of the study confirm the positive impact of the use of artificial intelligence on the level of research competence of future PhDs.

The article aims to analyze the legal aspects of protecting the rights of medical services consumers by identifying the parties of legal relations, establishing the specifics of medical services, the elements of violations of patients rights, the procedure for protecting the rights of medical services consumers. The system of general scientific and special methods, including dialectical, axiological, formal and legal methods has been applied during the research. It has been indicated that primary (medical services consumers, an entity providing medical services) and auxiliary subjects participate in legal relations for protecting the rights of medical services consumers. It has been proved that legal relations for protecting the rights of medical services consumers are characterized by: relations arising and being implemented in the healthcare sector; participation of entities with a special status (patient – hospital) in legal relations; application of a set of norms of medical law and protection of consumers rights; the fact of medical rights violation. It has been concluded that the legal fact of violating a patient’s medical rights in the form of a medical tort is the reason for the emergence of legal relations for protecting the rights of medical services consumers.

Objetivo. Determinar las características clínico-epidemiológicas de pacientes con úlceras en las extremidades inferiores, que conlleve a una orientación inicial adecuada de su etiología y manejo en la atención primaria de salud, por ser una patología frecuente y con gran impacto económico, social, y en el estado general del paciente. Metodología. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, transversal, que incluyó 30 pacientes, evaluándose diversas variables clínicas y epidemiológicas analizadas estadísticamente y los resultados presentados en gráficos y tablas. Resultados. El 60% fueron de sexo femenino y 40% masculino, la media de edad fue 63,33 años; el 36,66% tuvo úlceras previas. En el 60 % la etiología de la úlcera fue venosa y en el 23,33% neuropática; 43,33 % presentó ulceras grado I, y 36,67 % úlceras grado II. Las comorbilidades más frecuentes fueron hipertensión arterial, insuficiencia venosa, diabetes mellitus. El correcto diagnóstico etiológico inicial basado en la anamnesis y valoración clínica, es crucial para instalar las medidas de tratamiento oportunas y evitar la cronicidad y recidiva de la úlcera.

The aim of the article is to determine the specifics of optimizing the stress management of boys and girls during the student period through communicative training. The reliable data were obtained through valid and reliable test methods, and a formative experiment was planned and conducted. The results of the formative experiment indicate the moderate effectiveness of the developed communicative training programme for making stress management in student age more effective. Significant gender differences in stress management strategies and consequences of the impact of the training programme were identified. The girls are more focused on the strategy of actively overcoming the problem, planning a solution to the problem, and looking for social support. The boys are more focused on self-control, distancing, positive reassessment of the situation. Indicators of psychological well-being are higher among the boys compared to the girls. The training programme proved effective for the girls in building stress resistance, self-control, acceptance of responsibility, and psychological well-being. For boys, the most effective formative influence was based on self-control, search for social support, and the escape coping strategy. The study results can be used to optimize psychological assistance and the educational process at the student age.

Se concluye que los alimentos nutritivos y saludables para fortalecer el sistema inmunológico, deben cumplir especificaciones legales, en relación al contenido de nutrientes con características funcionales. El producto que se presenta como resultado de la investigación fue diseñado, elaborado y estandarizado ajustándose a estas referencias, cumpliendo lo establecido en la NTE INEN 1334-2. A través de las herramientas de Marketing Digital y el diseño de estrategias de difusión digital para emprendedores, se puede llegar al público objetivo, atraer clientes potenciales, convertir leads en clientes y fidelizar a los clientes, para lograr el éxito del emprendimiento propuesto.

The purpose of the study is to substantiate the principles of the formation of students' competencies in the circular economy in the pedagogical and ecological aspect, taking into account the achievement of the sustainable development goals. The methodological basis of the research is the systematic approach, which in pedagogy is aimed at revealing the value of pedagogical objects, identifying their various forms, components, types and relationships between them, which makes it possible to present the acquisition of competences among students for activities in the conditions of the circular economy as a whole presentation of actions using various forms, methods, means of teaching students in heigher education institutions. In the article, the epistemology of social challenges in the direction of achieving the sustainable development goals due to the implementation of the principles of the circular economy and the need in this context for the formation of relevant competencies of students of higher education institutions is substantiated. The characteristics that should correspond to the competence of the circular economy according to the characteristics of the integrated quality of the individual have been determined. The components that form the competences of the circular economy have been identified, which include: axiological, cognitive, practical-technological, and institutional.

Factores psicológicos, sociales, conductuales y biológicos han sido investigados como posibles características protectoras o perjudiciales para la salud y el bienestar, pero sus influencias o relaciones con la espiritualidad no se han examinado en gran medida en la investigación de la salud; de allí que el objetivo de esta investigación fue establecer una aproximación al estudio de las categorías de Espiritualidad, Salud y Bienestar, su posible interrelación, así como examinar las técnicas que la propician con base en una revisión de la literatura científica de diversos teóricos. En conclusión, los resultados mostraron con respecto a la conceptualización sobre Espiritualidad que aun cuando no existe consenso, los autores coinciden que se asume como una categoría multidimensional y esencial en el ser humano como experiencia individual, un modo de vida que comprende valores y creencias. También se encontró una relación entre la espiritualidad y el mejoramiento de la salud, junto con una estrecha vinculación entre la espiritualidad y bienestar, existiendo una diversidad de técnicas, que contribuyen al bienestar y éste se puede lograr desde la promoción de la espiritualidad.

The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of melatonin on metabolism and the implementation of the sleep-wake cycle. Methodology. Publications for this review were collected from PubMed, MedLine, and Google Scholar databases. Results. Melatonin is the main hormone that communicates the main circadian clock, located in the suprachiasmatic nucleus of the hypothalamus, and the peripheral biological clock located in brain cells and other organs. Melatonin production is related to day and night cycles, with peak production of the hormone occurring at night. Considering the pathophysiological mechanisms triggered by melatonin deficiency, the question reasonably arises about the possibilities of treating metabolic disorders (including type 2 diabetes), cardiovascular pathology and sleep disorders with melatonin preparations. Domestic and foreign publications provide reports of the clinically successful use of such drugs to improve sleep quality, increase sensitivity to glucose, lower blood pressure, reduce myocardial ischemia, and improve anthropometric parameters. All this makes melatonin a promising drug for managing cardiovascular risks against the background of metabolic disorders.

The aim of the research was to determine the effectiveness of the use of cloud technologies during the professional training of medical students. Methods. The research employed the methods of comparative analysis, survey, expert evaluation, observation, and statistical analysis. Results. The conducted research determined that the students of the experimental group had a higher level of cognitive, motivational and volitional, organizational and activity components of professional competence. It can be stated that the ability to use digital technologies for professional and personal needs is important in the era of digitalization. Students of the experimental group showed significant results after using cloud technologies such as: Pbwiki, Google Docs, Sway, Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Azure. The teachers changed their attitude towards the use of cloud technologies during classes, although most of the teachers had doubts about the proposed tools at the beginning of the study. The novelty and implementation. The academic novelty of the study was the fact that few studies have been conducted on the use of cloud technologies during the educational training of future doctors. The implementation of virtual reality in the practical classes of future doctors can be a promising direction of research.
