Alzheimer's disease is characterized by the progressive and irreversible loss of natural cognitive functions in most elderly people. There is currently no cure for this neurodegenerative disorder, but there are therapies available on the market based on substances that inhibit acetylcholinesterase and cognitive symptoms as a way to improve cholinergic hypofunction. Polyneuridine is the main indole alkaloid extracted from the bark and leaves of Aspidosperma polyneuron, a brazilian plant species popularly known as peroba-rosa. The objective of this work is to investigate, through a scientific prospection, the polyneuridine alkaloid, as well as its anticholinesterase property, since it is known that the therapy of this disease is based on cholinesterase inhibitors. To carry out the study, two of the main publication databases of journals such as PubMed and Web of Science were analyzed. To search for scientific production, we inserted the following keywords combined with the terms in english to carry out the search in international databases: “Polyneuridine”, “Polyneuridine AND anticholinesterase properties”, “Polyneuridine AND Alzheimer's disease”. The need for studies on this alkaloid is urgent, especially since Brazil holds the plant species that produces the most polyneuridine, but the plant species Aspidosperma polyneuron is on the red line of extinction due to the unbridled exploitation of its wood. It is concluded that if this exploration scenario continues, Brazil will lose a very important pharmacological genetic resource of its plant flora.

E-contract is a new phenomenon which has grown due to E Commerce. E commerce has created new domains which has no limits in terms of commercial & business transactions. There are no territorial limits in the domain of e-contracts. Physical presence is not a major requirement in e-contracts. However, at the same time the need to govern E contracts has also raised. E contracts are vital part of the E Commerce which cannot be left in vacuum or unregulated. There are major challenges which are posed while transacting at the electronic medium. These issues and challenges need to be addressed properly in order to create a safe and secure electronic platform. The current research paper shall be discussing the basics of e contracts with the major issues and challenges faced while contracting electronically. Introduction: The development of data culture is considered today as a social norm of the "information society". The leaders of education systems are faced with the task of consolidating the activities of "data evangelists", "it-evangelists" (technology evangelists) in education quality management systems. Data analyst competencies should dominate management decision-making. When examining the influence of relevant competencies on the style of management decision-making, we proceed from the existing technological data infrastructure in Russia, and also take into account the role of the public sector in quality control of education. Materials and methods: A review of foreign and domestic sources on the problems of evidence-based management in education has been undertaken. Various aspects of the problem are compared: intercountry and subnational contexts; revealed the role of international comparative research in the development of data analytics competencies. It was studied, using the Alan Rowe methodology, the influence of data analytics competencies on the style of making management decisions. The study sample consisted of 350 people. The author's case simulators were used for the built-in diagnostics of data analytics competencies. Results: The empirical facts of the change in the style of making management decisions under the influence of the competencies of data analytics have been obtained. The relevant competencies were the subject of training for the heads of regional education systems on the basis of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. The connection between the competencies of data analytics of the conceptual and analytical style of making management decisions with the content and methodology of training managers has been substantiated. A list of competencies of data analytics for scaling in the practices of training subjects of management of educational systems has been formulated. Discussion and conclusions: The novelty of our proposed solutions lies in the substantiation of the influence of data analytics competencies on the style of management decision-making. We expand the boundaries of the data-driven paradigm of education quality management and consider such systems in the logic of the information-analytical paradigm, where the competence of data analytics is both a condition and a resource for evidence-based education development. Conclusions are formulated about the development of a new type of culture in public administration - data-culture. Data as a valuable asset in a state with a developed data culture changes the ontology of the information state and logically leads to the idea of a new social contract.

The reduction in the consumption of energy by the cloud data centers is called as green cloud. Green cloud also helps in restraining the waste disposed to the environment. With the increasing demand in cloud computing, there has been an increase in the energy consumption. Green cloud can be achieved by server consolidation and proper load balancing techniques using virtual machine (VM) migration. It is a feature provided by virtualization. The virtual machines are transferred from one host to another. The overhead associated with migration is performance degradation. This can be overcome by proper load balancing techniques. This helps to curtail the number of VM migrations as well as the energy consumption. In this paper, a technique called as threshold compare and load balance algorithm (TCLBA) is proposed for optimization of the resources at the cloud provider. Two types of threshold are defined for load balancing, namely the lower and upper threshold. This algorithm works on the principle of shifting the load from a server if the load is above the upper threshold or shifting to the server if its load is below the lower threshold. The load is balanced by migrating the VMs. The workload is consolidated to smaller number of hosts such that the remaining hosts are shut down. This method solves the purpose of effective utilization of available resources with lesser energy consumption.

In recent years the use of solar energy is found to have grown by a large amount. Solar energy is renewable energy and the demand for it as clean energy shows its growth by nearly 50 percent in the past decade. It is estimated that the sun is able to generate energy within 24 hours that the entire population of the world could consume in 27 years. Solar power is the energy from the sun that is converted into thermal or electrical energy. The energy harnessed from the sun's rays is used for a variety of applications like electricity generation, to provide light for the interior environment, and many other domestic, commercial, and industrial purposes. Usage of fossil fuels for electricity production results in increased pollution and this mandates many governments to encourage moving to electricity generation using solar power. The large amount of solar energy that is available is found to be the most appealing source of electricity. Solar panels form a major part of the solar energy setup. Hence in this article let us review the various types of solar panels. This paper also deals with comparing the merits and demerits of the different types of solar panels that are available in the market. A section that presents the efficiency of the different kinds of the solar panel is also present in this paper. The role of temperature coefficient, fire rating, and hail rating in the performance of the solar panel is also addressed in this paper.

Hospitality industry plays a main role and has become a major sector in Malaysia’s economy. However, there are some challenges in the hospitality industry such as employee turnover which could have various consequences to organizations. The purpose of this research is to investigate the factors affecting employee turnover intention, either directly or indirectly. Previous studies have suggested that employee turnover intention could be affected by factors such as leadership, motivation, communication, work environment and infrastructure both directly and indirectly. Employee innovation and creativity as a mediating factor could also affect its relationship with turnover intention of employees. The research design for this study was quantitative research method using questionnaires as the data collection method. Purposive sampling was used to sample 152 hotel employees within the West of Malaysia. Structural Equation Modelling was used to analyze the data using SmartPLS software. Results indicated that leadership, motivation, communication, and work environment and infrastructure had significant relationship with employee innovation and creativity. Apart from that, leadership, motivation and communication also have significant relationship with the employee turnover intention. Turnover is a major issue within companies not only for the company’s sustainability, but also for the health and wellbeing of their employees. As an implication, organizations should understand that their leadership characteristic and environment has a tremendous impact to burnout and employee performance.

Research on military education under the rapid development and growth of armaments and equipment is booming. The field is continually gaining more key insights about this important and complex pedagogical problem. Academic interest on the systemic approach in the development of military education has consistently been a multidisciplinary effort. But perhaps systemic approach in pedagogic researchers are particularly well situated to be the leading voices on the public’s understanding of military education and many are heeding the call. With that responsibility in mind, in this paper, we offer to consider four elements of the educational process for the future of pedagogic research that we believe can help focus this line of inquiry to better ensure we address some of the most pressing problems. Based on critical assessments of the gaps in the literature, the paper cites the need to combine all elements of the educational process into a single system to achieve a focused result in the training of military personnel in educational institutions. Our list is not exhaustive, nor do we suggest that areas we do not cover are not important. Rather, we make these observations with the goal of spurring a conversation about the future of military education research, but especially a systemic approach in the development of military education.

Rather, we make these observations with the goal of spurring a conversation about the future of military education research, but especially a systemic approach in the development of military education.","PeriodicalId":428303,"journal":{"name":"Revista Gestão Inovação e Tecnologias","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129564609","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
Identification of input fields that appear on a document is a crucial requirement while digitizing any document. This paper presents a Deep Learning based approach to detect input fields from a form or document which consists of text, images and input fields like textbox, checkbox. The forms have been crawled and labelled manually to generate a dataset for training Deep Learning models. The YOLO V3 model is trained on the labelled dataset having four classes (static text, static image, input text, checkbox) with 1500 instances. We used bounding box techniques to label the dataset. The paper presents detection of limited types of input fields generally appearing on printed forms. We also discussed how such detection models can scale and sustain higher loads. If given the labelled dataset for other types of input fields, the existing YOLO V3 can be trained for them as well. The model is trained for 3500 iterations and the accuracy achieved is 71 percent.
