The COVID-19 pandemic has changed human life dramatically. The new standard pushes digital technology to become part of the educational system at an accelerated growth level. This study is meant to build an online-based lesson plan model as a learning development in the new normal era. The research method uses a descriptive comparison by observation, interviews, and literature analyses. Results have demonstrated that the development of an online learning plan model for learning tools leads to potential learning systems. The challenges encountered include the lack of capability of human resources to operate online tools, the limited technology, and the challenge of adapting learning tools to the curriculum's objectives. The online learning planning model can be applied with the government, schools, and teachers' assistance. This research aims to propose the development of online-based lesson plan models as learning technologies in the new normal era. This model's development needs to be researched further because it is used during pandemics and becomes the primary method in education in the future.

This study aims to test the effectiveness of a multimodal approach in learning. The method used in this study is an experimental research method whose implementation uses a quasi-experiment type. The steps of implementing the effectiveness test, namely (1) determining the control group and the experimental group, (2) conducting the pretest, (3) carrying out learning in the control and experimental class, (4) conducting the postest, and (5) analyzing the experimental test results. The multimodal approach has been tested through the t-test to improve students' literary psychological analysis skills. The results of the effectiveness test showed a significant difference in students' psychological analysis abilities in general between the post-test scores of the control class and the experimental class (p = 0.00 <0.05). This shows that the two variances are not the same, so the variance to compare the population average (t-test for Equality of Means) in the t-test test must be based on equal variance not assumed. At the equal variance not assumed, a t value of 8.114 was obtained and a significance level of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, p = 0.000. These results indicate that p <0.05, means that there is a significant difference between groups of students who get treatment using a multimodal approach. Thus, there is a significant difference in student learning outcomes between the experimental class with the multimodal approach compared to the control class with conventional methods. The above analysis results show that Ho is rejected because of the significance level of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, while H1 was accepted because there was a significant difference between the increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental class and the control class.

This paper narrates how the author's position based on the hot issue of nurturing the COVID-19 pandemic. The pros and cons of the "New Normal" concept [kenormalan baru] are argumentatively illustrated through a literature search. The primer information from WHO, policymaker, and researchers contributed to the discussion. Health protocols become the rules mentioned in implementing a new normal, namely by reducing physical contact with others. Nevertheless, the new normal policy is no less low and dangerous, is the insufficient appreciation of science, especially revelation. Thus, the concept of the new normal has not valued except just taking material and economic benefits.

A sudden pandemic has created a learning system in Indonesia, which is usually done face-to-face, in the New Normal era, online learning is required. This sudden incident turned the wheel of life and learning 180 degrees. This paper discusses the level of readiness of students and teachers in mathematics distance learning. The level of readiness includes ownership of electronic devices, availability of internet signals, costs, support from parents or people around, skills in accessing digital learning applications, learning places, teachers who can teach well, materials, teacher guidance, solutions if they encounter problems, abstinence give up, and be able to understand distance learning material. Data obtained from the results of questionnaires and interviews with students and teachers in Indonesia. The results of the analysis of the data obtained are that students and teachers are in the criteria of being quite ready to be very ready to carry out distance learning. From the results of questionnaires and interviews, both students and teachers prefer a mixture of distance and face-to-face learning, because when it is difficult to understand the learning material, the teacher can explain directly, more able to monitor the condition of students. The weakness of distance learning is that it is constrained by internet signals, no emotional bonds, it is difficult to monitor students' abilities and higher credit costs.
