The article describes the features of the use of scientific software in the extracurricular activities of students. The concept of automating the geoenergy assessment, the results of the implementation of the information system of the geoenergy approach are described. The importance of the developed information system in the formation of a sustainable interest in information and communication technologies and natural science research from the standpoint of STEAM is emphasized.

This article addresses transformative learning as a valuable resource for practicing the type of independent thinking of trainees in academia. In this context, a series of arguments are presented that denote the value and impact of transformative learning on the development of independent thinking. The epistemological basis of the concept of independent thinking is determined and illustrated, with a brief indication of the contribution of different researchers regarding the studied phenomenon. The current challenges that the European space addresses to us invite us, the language teachers, to facilitate to the foreign students the learning of a transferable autonomy in various social, cultural, professional contexts. Extracurricular teaching activities are an important tool for learning Romanian as a foreign language. In order to optimize the practical acquisition of language and communication skills, we consider it necessary to directly expose the group to the environment outside the classroom, in activities that involve the use of language in social and cultural contexts.

Deriving from the intended purpose, this article describes an activity of forming communication skills in a more special context, that of the physical education lesson/ activity, aiming to make arguments in favour of this formative correlation. Some of the students' results in terms of communication skills in the role of premises are analysed. Physical education is a powerful educational tool that can help young people develop their social and communication skills. Research that reveals how students perceive reality, how they relate to it through communication and how they perceive the need for these skills is necessary from the perspective of forming, during the high school cycle, young people who can successfully insert themselves into the labour market and who can adapt to the increasingly frequent changes taking place in today's society. It is for these reasons that the article analyses the correlation between communication and physical education within the learning activity, "looking" for relevant solutions for the formation of communication skills outside the linguistic disciplines.

The process of digitizing education, automating most industries and professional fields, transferring interpersonal and professional communication to the online environment is inevitable. To facilitate and streamlining this process, it is necessary to develop both - digital competence and digital communication competence in students. This article presents the impact of the use of digital technologies, especially cloud technologies, on the development of digital communication competence in students. The formulated conclusions are supported by a pedagogical experiment conducted on a sample of 266 students from 4 universities in the Republic of Moldova. As a result of the pedagogical experiment, it was found that the use of digital technologies, especially cloud technologies, in the process of developing digital communication competence in students increases its level of ownership.
