Based on the analysis of the curricula in computer science subjects in the countries with traditions in the field and the experience of the Republic of Moldova, it is argued the need to further promote the curricular reform in general education. It is proposed to re-conceptualize the current and summative assessment methods in computer science disciplines by basing them on the evaluation of digital products developed by students: documents and electronic presentations, Web documents, computer programs, simulation models. It is recommended that the assessment itself be conducted in a digital environment, giving students the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills directly on the computer.

The professional standards, worldwide and nationally, actively promote the role of social leader of teachers. The profile of the social leader of the contemporary teachers refers to the competencies generated by social intelligence that help teachers to have strong communication skills, to be stress resilient, to demonstrate productiveness, and to state positive self-esteem. The social skills of teachers represent an imperative of modern society. The core of ideas presented in the article demonstrates the importance of developing the teacher’s social intelligence that will lead positive consequences on teachers' professional activity. The essence of the article shows the interdependence of socio-emotional skills that help teachers to understand their social climate fostering the efficiency of social communication.

Active and interactive methods allow information sharing, feedback, collective solution of problems, simulating educational situations, evaluating their own behavior and the actions of other participants, creating a real atmosphere of cooperation to solve problems. Due to the interactive methods, students develop their professional skills, develop analytical thinking, mobilize cognitive powers, arouse interest in new knowledge and reveal the creativity of the personality. This article reflects the experience of using interactive methods with students in studying the module “Managing files in PHP language” of the PACS course unit.

The current educational situation shows us that the education system is becoming more and more aware of the importance of training students' ability to think critically by making viable, reasoned decisions based on verifiable information and adopting an open and curious vision. The entire responsibility for a harmonious training according to the psycho-pedagogical and age particularities and in accordance with the dynamic requirements of the society rests with the teacher who “orchestrates” and coordinates this systematic and sustained approach to obtain results on cognitive, behavioral and attitudinal level. An effective coordination of the instructive-educational activity must be based on a rigorous scientific training and responsible for a successful educational act.

The change of higher education paradigm, once the Republic of Moldova has become a full member of European Higher Education Area is reflected within specialized language. A lot of new terminological units penetrate through translations the Romanian education language. The specialized translators have to overcome the translaltion difficulties in good time. The terminological gaps in Romanian represent a significant challenge. Once the source terms do not have standardized target terms in the terminographical sources, the translators suggest translational neonyms, giving rise to the phonomenon of terminological variety.

The peculiarities of the psychosocial profile of an adolescent must be related to various forms of employment in behaviors at risk for physical and mental health, among them, is the consumption of alcohol. In this article, we set out to demonstrate an elaborate psycho-educational intervention program that was designed to reduce the risk of alcohol abuse among adolescents. The program stipulates the adaptation of therapeutic strategies to the stage of change in which the client is, the evaluation of adolescents and the identification of the stage being essential for choosing the most appropriate therapeutic modalities.
