ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN KINERJA REKSADANA SYARIAH TERHADAP REKSADANA KONVENSIONAL (REKSADANA MAWAR) TAHUN 1997 – 2001 1997年至2001年,伊斯兰共同基金(al - azal)对传统玫瑰共同基金(玫瑰共同基金)的比较进行分析

As one type of investment porfollos, the paper discusses the comperative of financial perfor- mance of syariah mutual fund and conventional mutual fund.Acase study, descriptive method is used as research method, it isexpected to describe about the character of syariah mutual fund and conventional mutual fund. Research was conducted from January 1. 1998 to De- cember 31, 2001. Syariah Investment fund is compared to Danareksa mawar (conventional) under one investment management by PT. Danareksa Investment Management. Perfor- mance evaluation was based on: Direct comparative method, Sharpe method, Treynor and Jensen method. The paper shows that đuring 1998-2001 the financial performance of "Reksadana Syariah" was better than Reksadana Mawar Convensional. However, based on our preleminary survey in the beginning of 2003, when IHSG increased, PT. Danareksa Invenstment Management liquidated the Danareksa Syariah. In rebound market shows that the financial performance of the Conventional Reksadana Mawar is better than Reksadana syariah.

HUBUNGAN STRATEGI MANUFAKTUR DAN BUDAYA ORGANISASIONAL Suatu Studi Empiris Pada Perusahaan Manufaktur di Indonesia 印尼制造业战略与组织文化的关系

This study investigates the possibility of a relationship between manufacturing strategy and organizational culture within manufacturing plants. Survey data were collected from 138 respondents in 16 plants. These plants included random samples of textile, beauty and pharmaceutical industries, which located in Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, and Bekasi areas. Al necessary data for this study were obtained from a questionnaire through a mail survey. The questionnaires were designed so that multiple respondents answered all perceptual ques- tions. The definition of manufacturing strategy in this study is primarily process-based, it does notinclude such content dimensions. Manufacturing strategy and organizational culture were found to exhibit a statistically significantrelationship within the plant. The analysis indicates that awell implementedmanufacturing strategy, which includes formal planning processes, com- munication of strategy, contribution to competitive position, and a long range orientation. It coexists with a dan oriented organizational cufture characterized by the use of groups and teams, low emphasis on hierarchy, and high level of loyalty and share plant-wide philosophy. This analysis suggests several implications regarding the manufacturing strategy process. First, itmay be necessary to involve mutiple decision makers at different organizational levels in the implementation of manufacturing strategy in order to help them to come up with the right decisions. Second, it may be useful to view culture as a mechanism, which controls the behavior of individuals by defining it certainly.

The objective of this research is to explore and to analyze the factors that influence student lateness in finishing their study at the Trisakti University. Desctiptive analyze and sector analyze are used.It conclude that there are sixfactor that causing the lateness of study period for student, there are talent, willing, physical condition, family economic situation, parents education and study facility at home and at the campus.

Research about green marketing ałways focus by how the behavior of the green consumer for the marketing practice that done by the company. The goal of the research is want to test the green consumer from the demography point to view like age, sex, education rate and income rate and psychography point of view (percieved consumers, effectiveness, environmental concem, and political orientation) beside to look the profile of the green consumer in Indonesia.

Merger and acquisition is one of the best external strategy to increase the growth of a company. The superioritay of this strategy is to get the benefit that increases the company performance. Sometimes there is amisundertanding for mergerand acquisition both from the management and the employee that caused the failure of this strategy. Because of that, human resources as one of the valueable asset mustbe well managed whether in pre, process, and after merger, so itcanbe the factor that support the succes of the merger and acquisition. Some problems that might be happened in the process of merger and cquicition and process of merger and acquisition is discussed.

The general objective of this research is to analyze the relation between Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment and to analyze the relation comparison among reward, job char- acteristics and work-environment with organizational commitment in Dana Pensiun Lembaga Keuangan which organized by Insurance Company in Jakarta. Data collecion is done through sensus instead of sample taking. The number of elementin population only 90 organic employees. Description analysis is used to know employees satisfaction and their commitment to organization. ARank Spearman Correlation Analysis was employed to determine whether significantrelationship existed between job satisfaction factors and organizational commitment Data were obtained through use of questionnaires and personal interviews. The following findings were revealed (1). Employees satisfy enough and has a moderate commitment to their organization, (2). There is moderate relationship between Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment, (3). From the job satisfaction factors, that obtained from the research really shows that work-environment has positive relationship with organizational commitment This research suggesst that the insurance company which has pension program should not attach to the parent company and the company should recruited employees that really has a good understanding company's a program itself.

This study examines a model of the relationship among source of competitive advantage and performance outcomes. Production and operation competency is considered as a source of advantage. This competency is definedas the sum of the performanca on some production and operation competitive items, weighted by importance and extent of responsibility. Relationship between this competency contructs with performance outcomes such as ROl andmarket share are analyzed. The questinnaere were sent to production and operation managers. The instrument is used from Vickery et al. (1993), Elitan (1998). Regression was used to analysis data. The result shows there are positive relationship between production and operation competency with ROl and market share.

The main objective of this study is to examine the interrelationships among investment, debt and dividend decisions as a major decision in financial management. These decisions should be made integratively as the companies could increase their value for their stakeholders. The study is focused on property companies listed in BEJ. Using SURapproach, this study shows that the relationship between investment and dividend decisions is negative andbidirectional, and the relationship between invest- ment and debt decisions is positive and bidirectional, and no relationship is found between dividend and debt decisions. Thus, the study results suggest that the inter- relationship among the three decisions are not really integratively made yet.

The Islamic banking systemin Indonesia has been started since 1991. The dəvelopment of this type of banks is encouraging even now its share is 0,2 %. There are 2 full Islamic banks 55 branches and 83 Rural Islamic Banks plus 2500 BMTS (micro Islamic financialinstitutions). Ina year ahead there will be an AFTA in which foreign banks may enter banking market in the country. Whatproblems will be faced by Islamicbanks in that period will be the main focus of this paper. The paper also recommends policies and tasks that may be setby Islamicbank, central bank as well as Muslim community.

To be successful in this globally and rapidly changing environment, organizations must formutate strategic plans that are consistentwith theirinvestment in and use of manufacturing technology. This studypropose that organizations that invest in advanced manufacturing technology and develop mechanisms for manufacturing managers to participate in strategy fomulation will have improved competitive capabilities and better performance than fims that do not. Using 14 manufacture's sample, this study develops validand reliable measures of advancedmanufacturing technology and manufacturing manager's participation in strategy formulation as well as competitive advantage of a firm. Rank Speraman's results show that the relationships between a fim's practices in these are found to be statistically significant and positive. Also, high levels of these competitive capabilities lead to high levels of performance as measured by customer satisfaction and marketing performance. areas and its competitive capabilities
